Essar Kalvin |
on my turn I will use a bleeding touch atack on the imp that hit the wall
Essar allowed his hand to burn with sickly, blood red energy and he charged forward touching the imp.
melee touch attack1d20 - 3 ⇒ (17) - 3 = 14
damage 1d6 ⇒ 3
Xov |
On Xov's turn, his actions depend on the position of the room:
If he can hit two conscious imps with a single cone spell:
"Foolish imps, watch this!"
He casts color spray, Will save DC 14
On the other hand, if only one imp is left by his turn, or if he cannot hit both with color spray:
"Shifter, here!"
He casts enlarge person on Othan
GM Elton |
If one of the imps is still in range, Danir will make another strike attempt with his morningstar
"Foul creature, feel the sting of justice!"
[dice= Attack Roll]1d20+1
Apparently, there is no justice in the world o_O
Danir roll 1d6.
Party members:
1 - Xov
2 - Kyndril
3 - Essar
4 - Othan
5. Danir
6. Ebran.
After making your roll, roll an attack roll against the affected member. That party member is struck by "friendly" fire.
GM Elton |
wait...Danir rolled a natural 4...why is he getting a critical miss?
Assuming you have a reason for the friendly fire:
"Ah!" Cries Xov. "It can't end like this!"
Xov can scarcely move, he is barely conscious Xov is at 0 hit-points..
It looked like 1+4, instead of 4+1. Sorry. :(
Xov, you still have your 6 hit points. The critical miss never happened. :)

No problem:) then my action is still:

Kyndril Mieren |
Kyndril growls, annoyed at his own inability to strike the damned fiend, and by the leaden weight of his poison-filled muscles slowing him down, chanting another spell, flinging out his palm with the final syllable. As he finishes the spell, a shield of translucent force, lined in a silvery glow appears before him. He flows neatly into another strike at the imp, shouting a battle-cry, privately in the hopes of bringing the officials of the train in to aid them. "For Flame, Keeper, and Queen!" He roars, sweeping upwards with a vicious slash.
Defensively casting shield, and attacking the imp again with spell combat.
Concentration check: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Critical Confirmation: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Crit damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
He grins as he lands a decisive blow on the imp, taunting it in Celestial.
Woot! Critical threat, though no confirmation. x_x
GM Elton |
The last imp has not gone yet.
the imp casts a spell, and changes into a raging boar with tusks! and it was a only a flash of red light around the imp. The raging boar charges against Othan.
charge attack: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
if hit: you take 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 damage.
Then Kyndril's attack kills the imp, kinda. A red light escapes the imp and returns to Fernia, leaving behind it's body. Victory over the Imps!
The following receive a Hero Point:
1 -- Essar.
2 -- Kyndril
3 -- Danir
you all get 300 xp.
Danir |
Says the one that was so useful against the Hecuveh...
Danir takes out three of his sling stones and weaves magical energy into them to enhance their effectiveness while he looks around to see how his comrades are. [b]"I think it would probably be a good idea to go find the summoner before he unleashes any other creatures into our world, he can't have gone far and has nowhere to run really."
Perception check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 to determine which way the summoner went.

He jumped the train. :)
Kyndril Mieren |
"Hm... What possible motivation could that man have had, summoning those fiends like that?" Kyndril frowns, then looks at Danir and Ebran as he sheathes his sword. "We should perhaps report it to the authorities?" He works his jaw a little, trying to make it stop aching from the poison.
Danir |
After realizing the summoner had jumped off the train, Danir found himself left with no alternative but to chuckle about his recent luck, while making a mental note to go to a temple once he reached Sharn and make a donation and prayer to Olladra and Onatar.
Can Danir just pay the gold cost to scribe a few scroll as if he had the necessary compnents?
Xov |
"Well...that could have gone worse, I suppose. I do not know the best course of action...at best, those fiends were summoned by a random cultist. At worst, they were summoned by a member of the Aurum. Perhaps Kyndril is right, and we should report the incident when we get to Sharn."
Danir |
"Well certainly but we should also find the House Orien representative I imagine they would have on this train and report it to them immediately so that they can start the search for the summoner in the surronding area."
House Orien would have someone on the train, correct GM?
Essar Kalvin |
Essar dodged the shifters attack easily (im assuming that 7 can't hit me since my ac is 10). Essar gathered his will into his voice and grabbed the shifter by his shirt and put his face right next to the man's.
Listen well shifter, because I'm only saying this once. I am a priest of the Blood and a member of the Emerald Claw, I have stood the line against charging Thranian knights and emerged victorious. I have seen thousands of my own people burned to death by Silver Flame zealots who had no honor. Nothing you can do will ever scare me, for I am of the Karnathi the undisputed masters of war on this continent and don't you forget it.

yes.
Danir |
Danir goes towards the front of the train where the House Orien member(s) on the train are most likely to be found. Once there he will ask to speak with the representative of the family. He tries to avoid using his family name and removes his signet ring as his place within the house is still in limbo until he actually meets with House members in Sharn.
"Pardon me, I need to discuss a matter of utmost importance with the House Orien representative dealing with the welfare of this train and those on it. May I see him or her please?"
Xov |
Annoyed with the sudden outbreak of violence, Xov turns to Othan and Essar:
"Gentlemen, please, calm down. We all have a duty to work together, and I do not wish to see any of you injured."
He paused, before saying
"Essar, did you find anything of interest in that temple?"
sense motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Kyndril Mieren |
Kyndril arches a brow, tilting his head at the priest of Vol. After a moment, the Khorvar sighs, then goes back to his seat, where he begins writing on a small sheet of paper.
Finishing his writing, he goes to seek a place where his wounds might be tended.
Kyndril Mieren |
Kyndril pauses, frowning. Should he bother letting the Seeker healing him? It seemed risky... But well, perhaps there could be a chance for his redemption. He lets out a sharp bark of laughter, staying anyways. Well, Flame preserve him, things would go as they would go.
Ebran Asur |
<- no need of healing.
...but probably the least anti-Essar member of the party, considering he treats Othan like a man-dog pet, mentioned not caring if someone kills Danir, and the two elves seem to hate him with a passion for a multitude of reasons known or otherwise.
Essar Kalvin |
Tell me Thranian do you wish to become a powerful swordsman? As the style you are currently using is...inferior to say the least. As I can put you in contact with Karnathi swordsmen who can actully teach you not just how to swing a sword, but use it to dominate the battlefield.
Xov |
When the train arrives...
"Okay guys, unless anyone has strong objections, I'm inclined to follow the plan we came up with on the train...
everyone will split up and contact whoever they need to contact. We can all meet up later today, and see if anyone has found leads on potential adventures. Remember, we need to work together to build trust, and get stronger..."
The drow's voice trailed off, as the train pulled in to the station.
Danir |
What happened with talking to the House Orien Representative?
Once the train pulls into Sharn and Danir disembarks with his possessions, he hails a Skycoach and requests it to take him to the House Cannith enclave in Dragon Towers.
5 GP should cover the fair right? Its 1 sp per mile according to the Sharn book so that should be more than enough I would think
Upon reaching the enclave, Danir will presnt himself and request an audience with whoever in the house leadership is currently available at the enclave.
Xov |
"I need to go meet...a friend...who I mentioned on the train ride before the imps attacked
"[B]After that I will likely meet Ebran, or possibly Essar."
Xov walks off to deliver the thing.
