Oddness, for some reason I've been dropped from this and one other game, even though I still appear in the players tab. GM, can you try removing me and adding me again?
edit: actually nvm, problem might be on my side. For some reason pressing the show hidden button makes them pop up again, despite neither of the campaigns being on my hidden list

For the people that seem to be worried about it, its pretty unlikely anything important in the room will actually be damaged by a feeble Mk I frag grenade. And if something was damaged...well we have a mechanic and a technomancer on board. Just sayin'.
represents how well it resists damage. Each time an object
is damaged, its hardness is subtracted from the damage.
Only damage in excess of its hardness is deducted from the
object’s Hit Points. On average, a sturdy piece of equipment
(such as a weapon or a suit of armor) has a hardness equal
to 5 + 2 × its item level. Any other piece of equipment has a
hardness equal to 5 + its item level.
Hit Points: An object’s Hit Point total depends on its item level
and is modified by additional criteria. On average, a sturdy
piece of equipment (such as a weapon or a suit of armor) has
a number of Hit Points equal to 15 + 3 × its item level. Any
other piece of equipment has a number of Hit Points equal
to 5 + its item level. Any item of level 15th or higher receives
an extra 30 Hit Points. Very large objects may have separate
Hit Point totals for different sections. Objects do not have
Stamina Points.
Damaged Objects: A damaged object remains functional
(though it has the broken condition; see page 273) until
the item’s Hit Points are reduced to 0, at which point it is
destroyed. Damaged (but not destroyed) objects can be
repaired with the Engineering skill or a number of spells.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but I'm going to need to drop out of this game. Good luck everybody!
I’m sorry to hear this. I really loved Boris and Digdig, great concept, backstory and very entertaining as well. I felt like this group was starting to gel. Feel free to PM me if you have any grievances or concerns. You will be missed. I appreciate the fact that you are informing us rather than just disappearing as seems to be the fashion on the boards.
@Everyone else, I don’t think that we can continue with just three players. We can pause and recruit, end game or bot Boris, if he allows at least to finish up this book.
What is the consensus?

@Boris, I was not personally bothered by the grenade attack either. My commentary was strictly role play. I apologize if I caused any offense to you, I'm trying to play Gryggax as a pacifist coming to grips with his emerging internal aggression. I hope that my actions didn't influence your decision.

When I GM, there is nothing I hate more than botting. But yes if you are willing it would be nice to at least finish the first book. But if you are tired of the pbp shenanigans and want to end it, that's understandable.
Yes, I’m not a big fan of it and truth be told, I’d rather be a PC than a GM. Most of the blunders here belong to me. I already have the other books and would ideally like to finish the campaign. I knew going into this that there would be some turn over, just not as much as there has been. I really liked these four characters, and would like to keep going with the campaign beyond the first book.
I am willing to recruit a replacement for Boris, but after that, I would probably fold if another drops though.

I will be working at scout camp the next two weeks. Internet connection will be spotty, but I can guarantee that I will post at least twice. I am hoping that this doesn’t kill the game. I still plan on completing the current book and hopefully the complete AP. I am hoping that this will just be a hiatus for you and you will enthusiastically return after a slow two weeks.

I am. I figured they'd borrow a lot of concepts from Starfinder, as well as Pathfinder Unchained. It felt like there were some test-bed concepts in each system.
I've only covered as far as the classes so far, but I can tell you that if a Ranger wants to pursue bow archery, it looks like the Fighter multiclass feats are mandatory. They get almost nothing to benefit bow archery. They do, however, appear to be heavily invested in the Ranger Animal Companion. I think every Ranger feat level has a new Animal Companion feat.

I tried learning the Mutants and Masterminds system and was a bit intimidated by that. I'm not ready to start delving into a new pathfinder system just yet.

Fortunately, there's enough similarity between the Playtest and PF1 that you won't find the transition as jarring - I've struggled a bit with learning M&M myself.
