Half-right is a terraformer by background and has mainly kept his magical nature low profile, though not entirely a secret. Especially with his fellow crew members.
As for tweaks, I am mainly all set though I am open to change up skills and spells based on how the group works out, in combat and out, and what roles people want to take on the ship. The primary role would be magical officer for Half-right but with a little tweak here and there he could also do other things (just not nearly as well).

Also, DM, what is you thoughts on the Scaling 0-Level Spells Variant? I found in the one game I have run that it was a good thing for casters, but as it is a variant, I don't want to assume you are good with it.

I think background is different than theme here, for instance here's what Ace's stuff looks like:
Class: Soldier
Archetype: Racer
Theme: Ace Pilot
Background: Former Smuggler.
I think Background affects interactions with NPCs later? That's the only reason I could hazard it'd differ from the theme.
Theme : robotcist
Class : mechanic
Archetype : hand of the All-Code
Background : miner
If any of these don't fit or could be tweaked, please let me know

Question: how did you get your KAC so high at level 1, Xevras? The only reason I could manage getting to 17 is the tail letting me hold a shield while also holding a rifle.

Alright, all-around 11s makes more sense. 10ft is... certainly a height difference. Enough to take fall damage from.

I suppose Half-Right is probably at least 5' tall, but we have so many Small characters, and then there's Xevras on the larger side of Large... :D

Starfinder options in general seem to be kind of lacking. I wasn't expecting the li'l humanoid squoxes mentioned in one comic then dropped, but no skitters is actually surprising.

Huh. Learned two new things about Starfinder.
One: Polymorph rules! Apparently you can talk while polymorphed in Starfinder? Added Squoxified stats in {} just in case they ever need to be used in the game.
Two: You have to align shields. Rest in peace permanent KAC 17.

Polymorph is very awesome in Starfinder. I have a kitsune character that spent a lot of time in her custom polymorph forms.

Yeah, I currently have a Kitsune so I didn't want to make another one. The +4 on these guys was too hard to resist though. I would have gone Astrazoan for the absurdity of "what can you polymorph into: anything that has a size of Medium", but I didn't realize they exist until after I made your local "squox".

There is a GP thread now live. The Roll20 page is active, also, let me know if anyone has trouble claiming one of the "OPEN SLOT" characters and adding a profile pic/token of their choice (otherwise I'll snip the profile pic from here before the first real action scene).
Everyone should drop some sort of introductory post before I advance things a little, just so I know everyone's formally checked in.
You'll also see some details on the company assigned ship you begin with, as well as some standard equipment used by EJ on their cargo vessels. Basically a tractor with trailer and a pair of hover carts that are essentially handtrucks/dollies that float. These things are company gear, so damage or lose them and EJ will take it out of your pay!
There are also handouts available on Roll20 with that information, and a few NPCs as related to backgrounds (those are still being fixed, but you'll have some pretty pictures soon).

I think I have the NPCs linked to backgrounds visible now. If you don't see the PC associated with your background in the HO section on Roll20, let me know. I'll be adding known NPCs to the Campaign info tab sometime soon.

No one needs to do the sheet on Roll20. That's just because I setup a master version for a live game and copied the game settings lol.

If I recall correctly, any polymorph that changes your creature type away from a short list merges your equipment with your body, but it's been a while since I looked at the polymorph rules.

There are ways to manage it, but yeah, they're usually more trouble than they're worth.

Buy or modify a weapon so it can be wielded in your other form, drop it before polymorphing, and pick it up after polymorphing is the main way I know of. With the right spells you could *create* a weapon after polymorphing, as well.
