Now that the first playtest scenario is entered into the Gameday VII system, it's time to open recruitment.
On that note, here is recruitment for my run of Rosestreet Revenge during the first part of Gameday VII.

And HERE is mine.
I'll be doing recruitment a bit differently than normal. I'm going to hand pick from the sign ups on the sheet. I'm looking to build a varied party and balance it with my other tables. In order to do this I've got a specific tab just for the playtest.

If Chris Marsh, Bristor, Chadius, Sedoriku, Eben theQuiet, and Mjolbeard89 could all dot into the Discussion and Gameplay threads, I know we don't have any details yet, but it will make life easier in August.
GM Garrett |
And mine makes Four!
Heh, funny story, I apparently managed to cut and paste the wrong URL. My game is actually this one ;-)

I'm guessing the playtest will be popular so... Have another one to sign up for!
This is also Rose Street Revenge, for Gameday VII. I have a comment about scheduling so please read my opening recruitment post.
I'm still pretty new to GMing in general, but they said they want feedback from inexperienced GMs too, so I'm taking them at their word. :D

I have room for one more in my Rose Street Revenge game for the Gameday, to start August 13th. The first one to post in the recruitment thread here will get the spot.

Alright, I've decided to try running a game of the ArcLord's Envy for the first part of Gameday VII.
Among the greatest archmages in Golarion's history is Nex, who created an arcane kingdom that shares his name and survives to this day. Although the archmage disappeared under mysterious circumstances millennia ago, his disciples the Arclords have continued his vision—at least what they can piece together from his surviving writings. The capital of Quantium's now abuzz with the news that another of Nex's texts has resurfaced, and already the owner has died under suspicious circumstances. Hoping to avert a political predicament as various arclords fight to inherit the text, the local authorities have hired the Pathfinder Society to untangle the situation as independent investigators.
This looks like it'll be a fun chance to explore Nex, an area I haven't seen many scenarios in or dealing with!
A couple of notes: It will be starting a little bit later than normal, which should help in letting people make up characters if they want to! Failing that there will be 5th level pregens available as well. Also this will be part of the playtest, and I'm expecting people will submit a survey afterwards.
If you're interestedsign-ups are Here!

Hey everyone, I'm going to open recruitment for part 1 of Doomsday Dawn: The Lost Star.
Don't be shy if you don't know the rules that well, we are all learning this new game, even me.
Taking the first 6 players that post in the recruitment. If more than 6 apply before I close recruitment than I will lottery the slots to those that applied.

Throwing my GM hat into the ring for PF2-PT-01: Rose Street Revenge at the 11th hour (well, it's more like 10:30 or so) for an August 13th start date; the recruitment thread is here!

I have had one seat open up at the last minute in my table of Rose Street Revenge, staring August 13. link is here. I will make my choice from among the first three people to post in the recruitment thread, or after 12 hours, whichever comes first.

I know this is last minute, but I want to run Raiders of Shrieking Peak for Gameday 5th level. Starting no later than August 15th. I understand this is a playtest that means several things.
1. Feel free to say you're doing this wrong.
2. I will post monsters in spoilers, if you choose to read them without identifying them, please don't spoil it. If you feel like I did an ability wrong or am playing it wrong, post it in a spoiler
3. This is a playtest. There is a lot of talk about erratas in the playtest. Unless there is an official faq or errata located on this site, play it like the book originally had it written, like a true from the book playtest. I know some classes had the number of skills changed on them and other stuff. Sorcerers get 9+int modifier skills cause of that little section on page 129 where you are automatically trained in signature skills. Other classes were meant to have a certain number of skills, etc.
4. This is a playtest, and we will playtest it to the very end and that means death, but with different characters. If you die before the final combat, you will come back after the combat, but with a character of your choice of 1 of 2 characters I build for you equal to the opposite of what you had. The game will still be reported as you have died, if that is the case. Divine=opposite of Arcane. Occult=opposite of Primal. Aggressively melee(Fighter, Barbarian, Melee ranger, Paladin), opposite=defensive/stealth/range(rogue, monk, ranger). Sorcerers go by type, you are divine in my book for instance if you are Demonic Sorcerer. Opposite of Alchemist=any class not magical, likely you will be playing a figther or rogue.
5. Post here if you're with me, I'll make a thread after 4 of you post, taking up to 6 of you.

Is there anyone out there who wants to try the playtest and hasn't gotten into a game yet? I have an opening in my game of The Rose Street Revenge, to begin tomorrow as part of the Gameday.
You can use one of the pregens (which are supposed to be available on the website tomorrow) or create your own level 1 playtest character.
The place will go to the first to express interest in this recruiting thread.

You are a gentleman and a scholar, unless you're a lady, and then you're a lady and a scholar. Or if you're neither/both/etc, then you're a decent presumably human being and a scholar.
EDIT: Caro and Egzuki, your plans? Also I found the same info on page 348 while looking at potential gear.

Yep, it is playtest, in fact, you shouldn't have a 2e character at level 5, cause that means 12 XP for a 2nd edition character, and it's not possible given the number of 2e scenarios out.
You don't need to level up a character to 5th for playtest; you can just make a 5th level character. It's a short playtest, and they want some data points at higher levels.

You pretty much said it right there.
Don't forget your magic items on the table. 1st level magic items don't really have anything all that good, but hey cool potions will help if you have a hard time deciding. Level 2 stuff, has some tricks, wands for them casters. Level 3 has weapons and +1 armor. Level 4 has +1 weapons and level 2 wands.Anyway, thread is an order now since I have at least 4 of you. The game
I haven't reached six yet, more are welcome to join.
