Pretty sure the "rudimentary intrusion detection" would check for "things trying to pop the collar" first (if it's not disengaged from software entirely) not to mention how it would reduce Sona's control of the sittuation if she were trapped in an unlocked collar. For that matter, Sona has no way to know that you guys are the ones messing with it. If anything, Sona is the one triggering the shock to keep the guards away from the unconscious prisoner while she figures out how to reboot a meatbag.
Why are you guys messing with the collar anyway? It said Sona was in control. That should be all the reason you need to leave it alone. XP

So, we might want to make that a milligram, or micro-gram, instead of a gram, because, having done the math, a gram of antimatter annihilating would release enough energy to evaporate 263 tonnes of iron.
also, I'm kinda a sci-fi nerd with devices, so I love the adventuring gear in this.

I believe that BoT has unofficially dropped from our campaign.

Yeah...yeah.
I knew him...before. Retzack's first incarnation was as a goblin Mage with a GM called "Froggy". He had some other games going on for a good long time, so I thought it would be for the long haul.
We actually completed the first mission, but when we got back to the goblin tribe, an army of humans kinda curb-stomped us. Posts started slowing as things looked glum, and then...nothing.
Hence, I'm not saying this is bad, but the guy you know as Mooshy didn't choose the handle "The Foolish" out of a hat. He's real bent up that he cut and run the first time, but he has large mood swings. Sometimes.
Anyway, I'm sure he'd want us to carry on in his name. Just as Froggy returned as Mooshy, I'm sure he'll be back.
And he'll want to play. =)

So, do we get xp for triggering "Mysterious past"?

Well, now that there are only two, we could kill them and then get in the elevator.
...
Or we could just cut out the middleman and get in the elevator now?
Idunno, sure it's a trap, but its a trap leading us to where we want to go in the first place, so....t3h win? =)

Friends, I've come to the realization that I'm just not able to continue GMing this campaign. I keep expecting to have new inspiration "sometime soon" but it just doesn't come.
I'm not sure why. I love the worlds we built. It has been a blast, but now it feels like a job. I'm sorry.
Spwack, I love your murderbot and I enjoyed adventuring with Emma.
Bastian, I love all your characters and your unfettered creativity.
Retzack, you changed goblins forever for me. All of my future campaigns will have goblins in your image.
Elsine, Dexter has been a blast and I consider the campaign you are running to be now-mandatory GM training for me. You make it seem effortless.
I will remain as a player in Elsine's campaign because I love it, and I want to continue improving the craft. I am also sure I will run another DW campaign in the future. I intend to PM each of you with invitations when I'm ready. I hope you will all be available.
Again, apologies. I hate to end so abruptly so I hope you will indulge me in a few final posts. I'd like to narrate the end of this mission and then have each of you (if you want) give us an epilogue post. How do things end up for you?
Acceptable?
Of course, if any of you would like to take over GMing, you are more than welcome to continue playing in this world.

I may be gearing up for something... interesting campaign-wise.
How are people's opinions of Funnel World?
I have listened to an AP of Funnel World that was pretty damn entertaining. I love the concept of using Funnel World to create the party. Whichever of your PCs survives becomes your PC for a longer campaign.

never heard of Funnel world. Elevator pitch?
and, as I am actually down to 1 Gming campaign and 1 Player (well, kinda two, but I think one might be dead), I may start up another DW game
If anyone is interested, I think it would be a very Witcher-ish world (I tend towards darker fantasy) and it would revolve around the players moving with the remains of their village, which was destroyed in some incident which also made them poison fruit to the other villages/towns nearby. it would involve protecting the survivors from harm, delving into dungeons and going on mercenary missions to get supplies for your people, and ultimately making your way to somewhere everyone can call home (And it may well go beyond that, I don't know yet)
also, MCKhaos, Thank you for the compliments. I'm not sure I'm as good as you think I am, but if I am, it's only because I learned from some of the best.

The dice make a character for you. 6x6d6 style stats. You start as a classless villager with maybe four hp and the ability to do your job correctly. (The dice pick your job and race too) My setting is a fractured world shaped by consensus. Something happened, and everyone's reality keeps slipping apart until the cosmos [beats] and reality consolidates.
Survival will be the focus until someone starts gaining levels.
I've... expanded the character generation tables...
