So Sona, do you do coding or something irl? All those code strings youve been spitting out in your posts seems terribly authentic :)
Not that I know anything about such things though.

The short answer is yes.
That just now was a SQL query inside a function call. I try not to be too obtuse with it, but they are little in-jokes for anyone who can decipher them.
The first block of code I posted essentially looped through every component of the life support system, asked for the status, and if it got back anything at all, it put an alert message window on the ship's console. One window per message. Each message just said "<component name> is broken."

Finally sitting down to look at building Kray, and it seems theres ALOT of options here. Anyone well versed enough in Class Warfare to be able to point me to a Specialty that can heal, but isnt based on spellcasting? Or can tell me if such a thing doesnt exist.

Class warfare CCs that start with spontaneous healing: ; Adventurer: Spellslinger Devoted: Crusader or sacred lamb; Magician: Psychic healer. Warrior: Slayer
just look at mechanics, the narative can be reskinned.
A drunkard veteran medic could be...
Bard / Fool / Crusader (d6 hp8+)
Crusader / Impervious / Empath (d8 hp8+)
Sharpshooter / Slayer / Oracle (d10 hp8+)
...
Beep boop.

As far as I can tell, a Sharpshooter/Slayer/Oracle cant actually cast any spells, since the casting component comes from the Disciple archetype, not the specialy.
Currently going with Armiger/Wielder/Embodiment
Wielder so Kray can have a shotgun he can bash people over the head with in melee (Perfectly weighted(Precise), Grizzly(+1 Damage), Sharp or spiked(Piercing +2) and Versatile(Choose an additional range))
Ive selected the Special Power that adds another 2 enhancement, and human Wielders get another, for a total of 4. This gives Kray his shotgun with armor piercing shells, which is also crafted to be easily swung as a melee weapon.
Armiger I chose because I want Kray to be fairly tough, but the way his stats ended up looking, his constitution wasnt particularly impressive. But I also wanted him to not be trundling around in a giant suit of armor. Im hoping to play Krays armor as being lighter than the stats on it, to depict his "stubborn old mule" persona. So though he may be wearing something fairly big and heavy, rules wise, visually and fluffwise its alot lighter.
For the third Warrior specialty, I was looking at Slayer as suggested, but didnt quite like the way the healing worked, so looked elsewhere. The healing mechanic of the Embodiment fits very well. The consequences of a 7-9 roll are easy to fluff for a medic, the "Spellcasting is obvious and draws attention to yourself" in particular, since a dude fiddling with bandages tends to do that in combat. Most of the time I would choose that and the "has other effects" choices, but will be choosing the "cannot cast again until you rest" option occasionally to simulate being out of bandages and what not.
Picking Embodiment also has the added "benefit" of reducing his damage dice to a d8, which just seems more fitting somehow.
Btw, do you get all the racial addons for your specialties, or do you have to choose just one?

On 410 of class warfare you can choose plate or scale+shield. So narrative reskin of either works. I'm thinking some sort of advanced underweave that you wear normal clothes over.
Basically you get the gear options from your archetype AND all of your specialties.
EDIT: Direct answer to your question is you can take plate armor for 3 armor 4 weight.

Well thats the thing. Simply putting [.*] in front of a line (without the punctuation mark ofc) works, here in the discussion thread. It does not on my profile page. On the profile page it simply becomes:
One
Two
With no dots.

Rather than being based on a stat, Aid or Interfere is based on the number of Bonds you have with a character.
So that Aid was at a +1.
We're still falling through a hole in spacetime, but at least we'll know the rules when Cthulhu devours us.

I don't want to impose a whimsical setting on Kray and Omega, but I am excited to play a straight-man character in a madcap world. Alternatively, we could segregate the two, like in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. We do have some themes of srsbsns butting heads with the whimsical in our setting now.

I personally love dark humor. If we could have some kind of horrific mutant creature composed of half decomposed pizza that goes around eating people, I reckon it would be great. Ridiculous, but great.

Does anyone need to do anything else to finishing fleshing out their characters? For example, it looks like I owe Omega some stats on his sniper rifle:
Energy Sniper Rifle, (Far, Near, Close, 1 pierce at close (STR), 2 pierce at near (DEX), 3 pierce at far (DEX), +1 damage against surprised enemies, 3 weight)
Energy Pack (5 ammo, 1 weight)
Basically your sniper is pierce one when used in melee with hack & slash, pierce 2 at near range, and pierce 3 at far range.

Not trying to be whiny here, but Kray had to use a modification from his Wielder specialization to be able to use his shotgun in melee. If that functionality is standard for firearms id like to choose something else.

Oh I forgot about that Kray. Plus in retrospect it doesn't make sense for a sniper rifle. Omega, drop the close tag.

BONDS (added to profile)
Sona calls me petit-fils and has some odd fascination with following my orders. What's her game?
Bone-head's brutish tactics are going to get me killed.
Bunkr-Bustr fascinates me. Why is a war machine like him fighting alongside some mercs instead of fighting in an interstellar war somewhere?
I'm worried about Bastian. Nobody drinks that heavily without a harsh past to back it up. That kind of behavior can't last long.
Omega is basically a telepathic alien plant-assassin. I need to find out what could motivate something so different from me.

Or get started writing up a description for the robot gates of death.
Why? You have a big, strong, slightly dimwitted murder-bot just itching to dismember whatever needs dismembering.
