Here are your chronicles for S05-01. The game is also reported using the Event No. of the Cottonseed Lodge that will give extra AcP.

As for the next game, we'll have to wait until March 2, which is the start date for the Outpost VIII event. I will be running S06-01 Intro: Year of Immortal Influence scenario. For now, let's take a break again. Good thing that we finished already because I will spend the time preparing for the external audit, an out-of-town vacation, and a company outing before the Outpost VIII event.

FYI I'll be away in nature this weekend, 3/1-3/2 without access to post. I'll return Sunday evening (US/Pacific time) to continue posting (including to kick of Outpost games!).

I will be away for our company excursion over the weekend and will also be unavailable on Monday. However, I hope to post an introduction by then, along with updates for the other games I’m running, including the S03-98 Special.

After much internal struggle, I have come to the painful conclusion that attempts to play a Samurai using Battle Oracle sucks

I was warned.

I was stubborn.

I would like to have used this Down Time to Retrain any "Samurai" related choices and fully embrace the Caster side of Oracle.

His katana will most likely retire to its scabbard more often than not...

His he allowed to Retrain his Ability array? Drop Str 14 and increase Cha 18?

You can spend Downtime changing the class feature for at least a month of retraining. For feats, you need a week of Downtime to retrain before it takes effect. If you want to make changes to his Ability Scores, you will need the Evolving Destiny boon, available in Boon Store for 20 AcP.

It took me a while but I found it!

Purchased the Evolving Destiny boon for our Samurai.

I will be retooling a bit today.

You can still be a “samurai” - perhaps just one who uses magic first, forcing the enemy to close, then mixes magic and martial when up close? You could keep Zeal for precisely this moment?

Just checked and I've run this one 5 times now, but this will be my first play through.

Not much change from last game for Olegaro apart from swapping the potency rune from his flail to the longsword.

oof we might need to hero point this one. Happy to do so but Olegaro has one of the lower chances of success.

There is another event in the scenario that is optional. It is a Moderate encounter. After that, we are basically done. I would like to know if you wish to proceed with that event, or if we can wrap up the game so that I can get the chronicles ready and move to our next scenario. Let me know your thoughts.

I'm replaying this scenario so I'm okay if we skip. But if there's someone whose first time to play this module is, I suggest we go through with it.

I am always fine with skipping the Optionals. That said, I am also always willing to do them, if other preferred.

Having played all 10 seasons of PFS1e, I get it...lol.

This is my first play-through of this. That said, I don't want to drag others through the optional event and I suspect a replay chance will eventually come as a recent repeatable, so we should skip since others would prefer to.

Personally, I prefer to skip to optional event. Having said that, I will report the game and send a link to your chronicles when I get the chance.
