I have got an anime on my mind now... Does anyone remember the name pf a show were the MC could transform into a lion, a bear or an eagle all together?
The shifter iconic is amazing!
AND WHAT WITH THOSE CUTE INSECT LIKE ALIENS?! *-* I'm all hyped for Alien Archives now!
They might be " pretty gorgeous introductory spreads." but we cannot tell, because instead of posting the spreads, you are just pointing us to somewhat blurred photos of a screen onto which they have been projected.
For instance, the guns picture, once trimmed, is a massive 460 x 335 pixels in size, an astounding 0.15 Megapixels.
This is the 21st century, not the 20th, post the slides from the presentation so that we can actually see them.
Shame.

Huh, Taldor gets some love (which I wasn't crying out for, but which has definitely been long-absent), and it's in Crystal's capable hands?

Nocticula's never looked better (it's the smirk, I think).
Shifters look neat.
And I am beyond hyped for All Things Starfinder. Azlanti. Star. Empire. Nyarlathotep is Core, apparently.

EDIT: And the Vesk mechanic confirms what I have long suspected.... the Vesk will conquer the universe where the Swarm fails to, by being so friggin' adorable no one dares oppose them...

The forward planning was "we don't want these images to be community use yet, which putting them into the blog would do".
Can you quickly summarize what we're allowed to use?
The Paizo Material you can use under this policy includes:
- The contents of the Community Use Package
- The cover images of all of the products on our Community Use
- Approved Product List, as displayed on paizo.com
- Text and art from the Paizo Blog, with a few exceptions
- Trademarks, proper names, locations and characters from products listed in Section 1 of our Community Use Approved Product List

So uh...am I the only one who got a teletubbies vibe from those Alien Archives critters. Not that evil teletubbies wouldn't be amusing antagonists....

I don't see that as an issue, they could put them on the Starfinder product page, and link from the blog, in the same way they did for the launch of the Pathfinder RPG - they are still there:

A few more details (I was at the banquet):
The little guys on the Alien Archive cover are called Skittermanders.
There's also a new god of evolution, Oras.
The Azlanti Star Empire are descended from off-world Azlanti colonies not affected by Earthfall. The Free Captains are now Space Pirates!
Idari is a Kasatha generation ship (explaining how there's enough for them to be a core race)
There's a spell called Logic Bomb, which if it has anything to do w/ the TV Tropes page of the same name, is gonna be so much fun.
The character themes are ace pilot, bounty hunter, priest, scholar, spacefarer, icon, mercenary, xenoseeker, outlaw, and themeless
New factions include the Xenowardens and the Android Abolitionist Front (not the Abolitionist Front of Androids, those guys are nuts)

The Book of the Damned will finally give us details on the Pathfinder versions of Orcus and Jubilex

Because the preparations for PaizoCon are an entire company effort on top of our day-to-day, we are not always able to anticipate every possible reveal in advance, and appreciate folks' understanding on that front. I would expect to see more detailed information on the blog in the coming months from the Starfinder team themselves :)

It's such a shame that the whole blog post was a taunt. A lot of pretty pictures, and a list of things that where talked about, but we are not going to tell you about.
For instance, "Editor Jason Keeley covered some of the information regarding starships. The chapter covering them has rules for engagement, stats for prebuilt ships, and rules for building your own craft."
Really, what did he say? The blog post actually manages to contain less information than is on the Starfinder RPG product page, which has:
"Complete rules for starship combat, as well as for building and customizing your starship.
Hundreds of science-fantasy weapons, armors, and items, both magical and technological, from plasma cannons and holy power armor to enchanted swords and cybernetic implants.
Hundreds of spells to let your mystic or technomancer tap into esoteric energies and rewrite the laws of physics."
So, lots of pretty pictures. The internet is full of pretty pictures, especially space fantasy pretty pictures, free for personal consumption. I like pretty pictures, and Paizo's products are beautiful, but that's not why I pay for them

...Pretty much that, but in more words. He didn't painstakingly go over the rules, or show us every premade ship. He showed us a couple pages from the chapter and said pretty much what the blog said.

I'm sure I have read something like
"I'm taking a few minutes here at the nice and quiet (and empty) Paizo offices to give those of you who didn't make it out the PaizoCon 2017 Preview Banquet last night a glimpse of some of the fun you can expect this summer (and beyond!)."
... right at the beginning of this blog post.
And I'm sure you know your complaints are the exact reason why people actually pay and go to this type of events: to get a better glimpse.
There's also the possibility of Paizo actually posting more in deep informations in the future...

I don't know whether they actually said anything about Triaxus, but it does show up on the Pact Worlds System map. In order outward from the sun, they show orbits containing Aballon, Castrovel, Absalom Station, Akiton, Verces, Idari, The Diaspora, Eox, Triaxus, Liavara, Bretheda, Apostae, and Aucturn.

REALLY excited for the War for the Crown. The angle and possibilities sound riveting to me. My hope is they're able to take the best of the location-centric urban campaigns and the open narrative sandbox (and slightly sandbox) campaigns. Recipe for another classic.
