I'd still like Words of Power in PF2.
Also, I'd like to see something about Sarusan, whether it's a book, a module, or even a PFS scenario.
Given that they’ve said they want to lean away from Sarusan-as-Australia, I think Paizo is pretty firmly dedicated to that staying a blank spot on the map.

I’d fall in love with a Darklands book! It’s literally where the first ever adventure that I ran was set. And honestly, while the Darklands have always been the Paizo’s response to the Underdark, I really think it’s the the opportunity for them to revise their material and make it, well… More them, I guess. Like they’ve done with goblins and technically elves, and plenty of other creatures in this last edition. They could make it creepier, for example: Or more alien!
I’d also really like for them to include in these regional publications a table or something denoting which ancestries and versatile heritages are common in a specific country/kingdom/region, and which might not be. I’ve recently have been running a game in Osirion and that could’ve really helped. :B It doesn’t need to be anything too formal, but at least some clear mentions.
Like many others, support for Mythic would be really grand. A friend of mine is running their own game where they have been homebrewing that to an extent, and I don’t know, I’ve really liked their solution: A mythic trait, which lets anyone with it rolling against any challenge that doesn’t have it treat its degree of success as one higher. I think it translates pretty well into the structure of this edition, without necessarily breaking too much. At least as far as I’ve heard!
Though, obviously, there’s way more room for mythic content than something as simple as that. :B
I would also really dig faction booklets. I’m not sure what format would be ideal for this, but a book with a small number of pages with information about a particular relevant faction of Golarion, including mechanical support for characters participating in that faction and plenty of hooks on how to involve them in your adventures or, better yet, how to run an adventure with all the players being from it.
Also anything that includes a merfolk ancestry, please and thank you. <3

Oh, and I'm not sure how people might feel about this, but a Gods and Magic 2.0, focused more on religion. Maybe with archetypes for followers of the most relevant deities?
Now, you might say: "But Sasha, you can just pick the Cleric Dedication for that" which, yes, it's fair. But, what if I want mechanical support for characters that are not granted powers, but still have a deep relation with the faith and its practices? I mean alright, you can just bump religion for that, yeah, but there's some really cool room for development in there!

I'd rather have more information on deities without much info on them than archetypes dedicated to the inner sea gods tbh. Like, gimmie the scoop on Alglenweis or Chamidu. We have a lot of deities without even a description and while the edits and anathama can paint a picture it's not the clearest one.

I'm not sure where you're getting your info from, but major convention organizers are increasingly struggling to fill PF1 slots and setting aside fewer and fewer of them each con, Lost Omens books are pulling more sales than Player Companions and Campaign Setting books combined ever pulled in, and PF2 being the most successful product line Paizo has ever produced is the reason we were able to actually hire more editors, developers, and designers than the company has ever had in the middle of a pandemic that was shutting down FLGSs and distribution networks. If Paizo had been reliant on the rapidly shrinking PF1 market going into the pandemic, there might not be a Paizo right now, and certainly not one that's got the most robust team of employees and most successful product lines the company has ever seen.

I am glad that you are confident in the direction of the PF2 product family. You are in the best position to make the assessment and have access to more information that us players. I only see a struggling product in these parts of the US but I am glad to know that it is not so. I wish you continued great success with your player base as our groups migrate to a new system.

It really is! I'm super excited to see how things look by the end of the year. A number of people have been waiting for things like the magus, summoner, and gunslinger to drop before switching over, and the inventor already has a huge fanbase despite playtesting with a broken primary mechanic, so I'm hopeful to see even more surges in new players as Secrets of Magic drops in August and Guns & Gears follows hot on its heels in October. It's been really amazing to watch the game surge and grow all over the world during a point in time where the entire gaming market was filled with such uncertainty, and we're all just incredibly grateful to all the fans who've adopted it and helped spread it in their regions.

For one, we aren't getting a Paizo LIVE! stream on the month of GenCon. And while Paizo won't be there physically for GenCon, they'll still be there for the online component of the con. So the likelihood of there being the "GenCon announcement" this year is pretty dang high.

I'd definitely like to see more interesting magic items, at various levels.
Like 3-4 options for every skill at every increment, so there's a diversity of skill items, etc.
And I'm not sure a LO book would bulk up the whole list so maybe that could be a part of a rulebook line book.
I'm hoping the upcoming bazaar book adds a lot of these. More variety is definitely needed.

I'd love to see a book on the Sodden Lands. Not sure anything about that area would be included in Mwangi Expanse, but I'm doubtful.
Just got the Mwangi Expanse PDF and it does contain 4 pages on the Sodden Lands. There's 11 pages on Jaha too which is Sodden Lands adjacent and inhabited by Yamasans and Lirgeni.

Let's keep it civil and on-topic folks!
Books I'd love to see for PF2-
1) Lost Omens Arcadia. I'll keep backing Luis every time he pitches this and pitch when he's not around until it happens, lol!
2) Battles that Shaped Golarion or something along those lines; I want modules or an Emerald Spire type collection of encounters that explore things like the battle between Aroden and Tar-Baphon, Shoanti rebellions against the Thassilonian Empire, and the People's Revolt in Andor, designed to let players experience these events from the eyes of the heroes who fought in them.
3) Ye Big Ol' Book of PCs. Not really a Strategy Guide type book, I just want an official collection of PC builds for every class at a few different levels that shows off all kinds of builds and character concepts people might not think of on their own. I have this sneaking suspicion that if we gave each class 2-4 pages, we could get in low, mid, and high level builds along with a simpler NPC stat block for GMs to quickly drop characters matching that theme and concept into their campaigns.

I really like the Battle of Golarion book and think that it could go along with a bunch of cool new martial warfare content, including some famous encounters, New legendary equipment, and possibly even rules for mass combat that include feats for leading armies.

Probably won't happen but I would like see like a eastern adventures book that focuses on Tian Xia and introduce the Samurai and Ninja as classes or archetypes or class options. I am also on board with a book that introduces the Inquisitor or the Kineticist. I guess I would like more books that introduces more classes or class options like archetypes. Also wouldn't mind seeing mythic rules.

This reminds me that I'd really like to see a 2e book with a bunch of abilities to help when building creatures as a GM. Sorta like the NPC abilities suggested in the GMG or the Skeleton and Zombie abilities in the bestiaries, but expanded to represent ways certain types of monsters advance themselves in level. Like the GM equivalent of "ancestry feats" that can also help inspire me to create some for my own monsters.

I'd love a book on alchemy.
If the class will stay as it is, I'd love to see some class archetypes that focused them in--removing flexibility to increase success.
They need many, many more items!
There also seems to be a lot of untapped lore and info about alchemy. Magic gets so many books, but let's see some science pushed forward! Yeah, G&G might have this covered but I'm not holding out much hope.
Building golems, deeper mutagenic interactions, famous alchemists and their unique formulae, mutation heritages, alchemically-inclined subclasses for some existing classes...
I dunno. Just spitballing. Alchemy is so cool, is a huge edge Pathfinder has over its primary competitor, and has been pretty back-seat to magic and such.

2. More generic NPCs in the style of the GameMastery Guide. Love those and use them all the time, but there aren't nearly enough.

And, dare I hope, some method of gaining a troop-style companion?
Ever since troops became a thing in PF1E I've been hoping that there would be some way to achieve this. A way to implement the "leader of men" trope without bogging down the game with millions of actions from hirelings.

I'd be interested in Lost Omens books for the Impossible Lands, Broken Lands, Garund to the south of the Mwangi Expanse, Kelesh, the Darklands, and Vudra. It's been 10 years (and would be more by the time this hypothetical book comes out) so an update to Tian Xia would be neat, and maybe it could go a little more in-depth than the Dragon Empires Gazetteer.

The book of dreams and madness – A book all about cosmic horror, outer gods, great old ones, dreamlands, nightmares, and dreamscapes. The book of occult mysteries – A book of psychic magic but also a broad look at different occult traditions such as astrology, harrow, chakras, esoteric order of the palatine eye, prophets of kalistrade, etc.
The firs one was my immediate thought when I saw the title.
But that second one is the book I wanted without knowing I wanted it.

Personally, I'd like to see 2e versions of the Occult classes, as well as a book of options for wilderness-themed characters.
Legendary Games has already published their own versions of the Kineticist and the Mesmerist for PF2, so they are well on their way.

I'm honestly curious about the Legendary classes and what that implies for Paizo. Did Legendary ask Paizo which classes weren't gonna be coming down the pipes for a while or are they just making missing classes they know are wanted regardless of what may or may not show up next year?
Paizo have been pretty clear that the existence of Legendary releases of classes has absolutely no bearing on their decisions going forward. So when Paizo feels like doing a kineticist, they will--no matter the popularity of the existing 3pp version.

The Kineticist book came out around the same time as the Advanced Player's Guide, so they could infer that they had a bit of time before Paizo published any official version, but I don't think they were in any way privy to Paizo's plans.
And Legendary Games has been publishing alternate versions of PF1 classes for years. It is only with PF2 that they got around to doing their versions before Paizo.

You know I realized that while I did list Azlant book before, I didn't actually explain what I mean :D
I don't mean "Azlant before it sunk under ocean"(though would be cool to get map of that and history lessons), I DO mean "current" Azlant.
See lot of folks actually live on islands that remains of the continent :D Besides Talmandor's Bounty and Sun Temple Colony, there are wyrwood, locathah, azarketi, monkey goblins, caligni, strix, underwater cities with merfolk and cecaelia and aquatic elves... Basically Azlant isn't just "ruined remnants of Azlant" it IS large series of islands where people actually live and have their own culture

I know it’s going against the setting + rules trend, but an ‘advanced class guide’ or ‘advanced character guide’ at some point would be nice: a book that expanded on the already published classes
- lots of options and feats for all classes
- subclasses (bloodrager for barbarians and inquisitors for clerics if those do not end up being classes)
- teamwork feats if they haven’t yet been released
- expanding on some archetypes’ feats
- some class archetypes
