Are you asking about Dead God's Hand?
Haha, I feel you!
It's also an Erik Mona project, connected to Absalom, that was delayed. In hindsight I can see how you connected the two! I am pretty sure they were never linked by release date though.
It sounds like Erik has prioritized the Lost Omens book. He's not offered any particular timeline on DGH, which to me says it won't show up any earlier than next year.
We have no official release dates for either Absalom, City of Lost Omens or Dead God's Hand. It looks like the former will be November. We have no estimation for the later, other than some time in 2022.

If you're quoting Darth Vader in ESB, the quote is, "I am altering the deal. Pray I don't alter it any further."
As for the dates quoted from my post in another thread, I was apparently pulling my date ranges from the wrong part of the product pages, so Elfteiroh is correct.
I am altering the quote. Pray I don't alter it any further.

Correct, but since I am here, look to Erik Mona's PaizoCon welcome at noon Pacific on Friday, May 28 for our biggest announcements.

You know, I've decided that one of my hopes for this books extra hundred or so pages is some expanded rules for the Shoony, since they missed the boat in the Ancestry Guide. With their heavy ties to Aroden, and presumably Absalom, this would be a good spot for them to show up again. I'm willing it into existence dangit!

400 pages.
Most of the new material is NPC capsule write-ups (alignment, ancestry, "class," level plus how they fit into the city, who they are friends with, what motivates them, and associated adventure hooks) for 200+ NPCs. More fully fleshed-out locations in every neighborhood (for instance, there is now a detailed tavern in every district, each with its own flavor). We also added about 12 temples so that every single core deity has a temple somewhere in the city. Everything is cross-referenced so that each location lists the NPCs who might be encountered there. You can then jump to the NPC section and start building together plots of your own design.
Etc. :)

The Pathfinder Society Grand Lodge from Pathfinder Society Guide + Wynsal Starborn from Pathfinder Legends + the Agents of Edgewatch AP + the A of E Pawns + The Grand Bazaar (which is in Absalom) + all the NPCs in the GMG + NPC Battle Cards + all the ancestry and class options from the Advanced Players Guide, Secrets of Magic, Guns & Gears & Ancestry Guide + 440 pages of Absalom, City of Lost Omens = one HUGE urban campaign. Wow. Did I miss anything?

Dead God's Hand also ties in! Shove in a bunch of Kobolds from Little Trouble in Big Absalom too why not.

Not to mention the countless 1-Shot adventures that take place in Absalom from the Pathfinder Society.

Ok... alright... this is now officially fuel for a homecampaign. It will take a few months post release for me to gear up, but I'll get there. A completely urban (+bits at sea and on the rest of the islands around Absalom) homebrewed campaign. I may do this one online via VTT (Google Slides + audio over Discord) in order to open this up to people outside of my regular F2F groups...

Right. November 10 for Pathfinder Lost Omens: Absalom, City of Lost Omens and Poster Map Folio. Estimating 3rd Quarter 2022 for Dead God's Hand and Flip Mat Multi-Pack.

That was Swardlands specific. There was another one about the mountains. But not about the rest/whole of the Isle.

The book is done and in final approvals before going to the printer on Friday, btw. Thanks for your patience as we've polished it up and made it even more awesome. We'll update the release date once we get final word back from the printer, but it's looking like it will release in 2021 for sure, maybe sliding to December just in time for Christmas. More on that specifically soon, but at this point it's out of my hands.
The book WILL discuss a few things about the rest of the Isle of Kortos, with a few paragraphs on Diobel and Escadar specifically (though they're more summaries, and interested parties should check out Towns of the Inner Sea for Diobel and Extinction Curse for Escadar if they want more information).
There's a TON of information to be gleaned from side references and allusions, like who is working for the Kortos Consortium, what happened to the aeon orb outside Willowsedge, more information on the Siege of the Prophets and its tie to High Harbor and the Isle of Erran, etc. There are 410 NPCs, and a good number have some ties to the island outside Absalom, so there should be plenty of gold to pan, even if the isle itself could also use its own big sourcebook somewhere down the road.
I promise this Absalom book is going to keep Wikipedians active for many years to come. :)

Hm. So slightly smaller than Taiwan (just under 14,000 square miles) and a bit more than twice the size of the island of Hawai'i (about 4250 square miles). Funny, I thought it was bigger for some reason.
It's probably twice that size of you count all the dungeons and underground caverns. ;)

Really looking forward to that book.

This got me confused. I was under the impression that the goal was to have a in depth book per each of the 10 greater reagions that where presented in the "World Guide" Mwangi Expanse clearly follow that pattern but with Absalom this seemed to change.
Is that just this one book or was my asumption wrong?

Something like that was never announced. It may have been inferred by posters based on the publishing schedule, but it's never been more than speculation.

It's also very possible that this is still in the cards. Just because we're getting a book focusing on the biggest city in the world, doesn't mean we won't also get one on the region that doesn't have to eat all of it's page count on one city.

This is what I was thinking, although I imagine it would have to be closer to the 128-page mark 6than the 300-page mark seeing as its such a small region if you don't include absalom.

BretI |

I am curious, will the poster map be for the current Absalom (after the reconstruction in the precipice quarter)? Will it include the changes that happened to that quarter as part of the most recent Radiant Festival?
These events are both part of the Agents of Edgewatch AP.

It does not look like it is on early Nov. release.
Correct, Absalom: City of Lost Omens has been sent to the printer. It is now targeted for early December, subject to international shipping. It’s like we’re using the victory point system to get this to you. ;) Thanks for your patience and patronage.

I would suspect it would not include any changes from the AP as this was intended to come out at the same time or thereabouts and they have only update source books with the edition change so far (at least as far as I am aware).
The Radiant Festival is part of the AP but the changes made to the precinct took a while. They basically bull-dozed a section of the precinct. That didn’t happen all in one day.
