I think it would be interesting to have a character that views the gods merely as powerful allies or enemies rather than as beings which should be worshiped. I would expect there to many interesting roleplaying opportunities beyond just "nerdrage" arguments. (And I hadn't noticed the topic of conversation in that picture. That is hilarious.)
That's a cool concept! B5 should have some content to help you out with that (not that you should buy a monster book solely to find content that helps refine the philosophy of a PC, naturally, but I love when we find space to explore those things in monster entries and intro pages for a monster type).

All the cool things get a hard nay from JJ... Drop Bears, Ravids, Almiraj and wolpertinger (which made it anyway) and now my favorite race from mythology the Panotti.
I wish JJ was so harsh on Elemental Drakes and environment Giants.
If it is because they are to "comical" I find Colour out of Space more hilaric, and every environment has evolved its own giant species less likely than a race that have evolved their ears and hearing abilities.

I am really glad that the anunnaki are in Bestiary 5. I hope Pathfinder appropriated what I looked up on them.. some really weird stuff lol. I want to create some Campaign that involves them and the Greys. I really like how pathfinder takes weird urban legends and stuff and creates a cool backstory and stats, I want to see more of that. Example: Jersey Devil, Mothman, anunnaki, Greys, etc...

I was going to buy the book anyway. I've found lots of inspirational material in the bestiaries, so I consider them well worth the price. But some info on the philosophy of the manasaputras would be particularly welcome. At the moment, the character is vague mix of Kwai Chang Caine and Aang in my head, but a little philosophical background will probably help bring his/her story into focus.

Both Jersey Devil and Mothman were already described in Pathfinder bestiaries, respectively as Sandpoint Devil and, uh, Mothman.

I cant find the exact post but I seem to remember James Jacobs saying that Hell's Rebels might be the cutoff point for it. Failing that, I imagine it would be Giantslayer.

Orang-Pendaks, Vanaras, and Humans....eck to many monkeys...would of been nice to get a wolf and bunny anthro (since there is that harrow card) PC races. /slight joke but serious about more anthro races.

Need to read them, and make my homework to know which i like and will use.Also, a Mindflayer and Displacer (yes, i know, i drop some salt in the wounds... but still im pretty sure that Paizians would make a greater and better job interpretating those creatures at their bestiaries than D&D did, does, and will do).

I hope there aren't too much critters from Iron Gods in this bestiary though, that anemone monster is one of the only ones I wanna see, and the porcupine, but probably all the robots make it in.
Mummies Mask on the other hand, I hope most monsters make it in.
The living wall, does that mean we never get a Japanese Nurikabe in a bestiary?
But then again, we also have fire drake and fire dragons, so why not two living wall creatures.

Until they become OGL (unlikely), Paizo can't use certain properties like beholders and illithids.

And the proto-displacer beast, coeurl, was already stated in Pathfinder. You just need to hunt down the book it was in, because it is one of few monsters Paizo published that are not OGL.

Phantoms and spirits will undoubtably be in this.
What is funny to me is no body seems to have noticed that the spiritualist class has a pet that can walk through walls, become immune to anything except magical attacks and other things that actually can affect intangible enemies. Drop a phantom against a room of mundane, non magical enemies, and watch as they either flee the room to get help, allowing you time to open the door from the inside, all die trying to kill the intangible phantom that is probably strangling the life out of each one in turn, or unlock the door you are behind and open up the way to your party to continue into the dungeon.

People did notice this, it's why the final version has more limitations on its movement than the playtest version.

If you can't pronounce Karkadann, Cherufe, Kamaitachi or Batibat, that is your loss.
But free favorites is always nice, more people play that game.
Brain Moles were together with Disenchanters the creatures from D&D that desperatly needed a change. They are in every list of worst/most bizarre D&D creatures I see out there.
I always liked my own version of the Brain Mole more, never cared for real world animals in fantasy world (I love animals beside the fantasy world though) so normal looking moles with psychic hunger are boring for me yeah, give them a better look and i'm in love with them.
And I can't wait to see the bigger meaner Brain Mole.
