Slim chances, as the monster is not Open Content. Paizo had a special agreement to publish it, not sure if it wasn't a one-time thing.
It was a one time thing. The agreement allowed them to publish it once, but they can't even refer to it again in a later product in a random encounter table, much less reprint it.

In addition it's my understanding that it not being open has nothing to do with WotC or any other game publisher; it is the estate of the author (Vogt) who came up with the coeurl.
Correct. WotC has no claim over the coeurl. It remains the intellectual property of A. E. Van Vogt, the author who invented it.

Doh.
I did the copyright maths wrong.
Stupid copyright extensions.
I thought "Black Destroyer" had already passed into public domain.
Dang. Was all hopped up, hoping to see the Paizo take on it!
Edited to add: Which AP are we referring to?
The Coeurl? I think it was in AP #22.

Zmar wrote:What about just providing stat upgrades fro the old APs in PDF? ;)Nope; we'd have to secure the republication rights and that's not free. And in any case, the stats for the coeurl as they stand are already pretty much 100% compliant with the Pathfinder game anyway.
So we'll have to do it just like we did before ither use what's published already, or... *scrible* *scrible*
(for nobody can say a word agains creating a custom variant for my home game if it needs it).

(Legacy of Fire vol. 4 - The End of Eternity - for those too lazy to look for it ;) )

Oh, there's nothing stopping me from using the already published stuff. I'd just love to see Paizo's art-take on it, and see some coeurl-based adventurey goodness.
