"Chopsticks. For eating."

He puts his own pair of them in his paw and clicks them.

"You know how to use them?"

He demonstrates by lifting a sushi roll and setting it back down, not planning on eating until both of them could.

"You put one in your hand like a pencil and the other under your thumb."

If Pyry doesn't seem to get it at first as many didn't, he reaches over and sets them in his hand the right way.

Pyry took his time despite his many frustrating attempts to use the chopsticks and finally managed to eat slowly.

"This is good. Did you make it?"

"Well, I was hoping to meet you for dinner. Just didn't expect it to be here."

He ruffles the icebird's jet black hair.

"What has you stuck here? And are you allowed to eat stuff?"

Instead of answering verbally, he just sets the boxes on the cot next to him as he sits at the end of it, opening them up to show expertly placed sushi rolls all through one and the other full of an array of brightly colored Popsicles.

"Well... Um... I got into a fight. With another firebird." He mumbles. "He found out I'm a firebird and called me a.. a burnout. It's a bad word for firebirds without any fire related magic. Then he started making fun of me even more and I tried encasing him in ice..."

After catching a couple fish and slipping some stuff out of the kitchen to his room, Tybs brushes his left hand gently along the wall with a couple nicely painted wooden boxes under his right arm.

He glances upwards when the arrows blink upon reaching a door, and he sighs when it reads "infirmary."

After a quick check with the receptionist, the window to the cold room gets a tap. When the ice bird looks up, he sees the familiar face of his catbro, giving a wave and holding some boxes up.

Pyry turns his head to look at the window and goes from sullen and angry to smiling happily. He quickly waved the cat in after pressing the button that let the door open.

"Tybalt! I don't usually get people coming in here unless a nurse wants to scold me or something! What's in the boxes?"

I'm not, but if Tybalt is still in the infirmary Pyry just popped in a page or two ago.

He wastes no time slipping off everything but the shirt and trying the shorts on, not seeming to care about being momentarily naked from the waist down. Maybe a cultural thing.
"Hey, these are pretty comfortable. The form could use a bit of work, but that's something I could help you with. Will these stay solid if they get hot or melt?"
He seems interested in how they work, if still a little subdued.

"As far as I can tell they don't melt as long as the spell lasts. Or I want it change back. They've been lasting longer and longer the better I get at it, but last time they only lasted nine days." If Pyry notices or cares about the nudity, it doesn't show. He was happy Tybalt liked the ice clothes though, clearly..

Pyry waits until the girls are watching before he begins casting spells. First, a simple one to create a mass of water in the air, followed by a super-chilled blast to freeze it solid before it hits the ground and has a chance to splash. Next, he moves around the large block and, most likely much to everyone's surprise, casts a spell that causes a ball of fire to appear in his hand. While clearly uncomfortable, Pyry doesn't seemed hurt by it.

After getting a good look, Pyry begins using the flame to melt out a pair of hugely oversized shorts for the feline friend of his. After the fire fades and he cools his hand off, he casts one final spell over the ice shorts... and they shrink and change into cloth ones the color of ice.

"Sorry that took a while. And about the fire." He picks up the shorts and hands them over. "I hope they fit."
