Female Human Teenager

Even with the din of the cafeteria being what it is, this does not appear to pull Anahita out of her silent ...sitting there, eyes closed, listening to things that no one else hears.

Her expression though, is one of peace-- not contemplation. Her breathing even, relaxed. It hadn't been too long yet, though it could be thought that she'd doused off, seated there.

What was left of her early started lunch remained, nearly complete in front of her.

Nala was about to take down the ice wall when she witnessed this. She went very pale. She looks terrified. Ryuzo can recognize that there is something about the sword that has Nala as panicked as a sudden visit from her mother.

The ice wall shattered, the wards keeping the shards from doing any lethal damage.

"Wait! That sword! Where did you get that?" she yelled, her voice trembling a little.

Alys whirls to face the group by the wall, her eyes very wide at the sudden outburst and ducking to avoid flying shards of ice. Her eyes dart right and left as Ryuzo's clones appear, and her hand drops back to the hilt of the katana though her posture is entirely defensive. For the few heartbeats it takes Alys to recover from the surprise, her features have a much more vulpine cast to them and she very strongly conveys the image of a cornered predator.

Recovering slightly she begins trying to speak but the startling reaction of Nala and Ryuzo seem to have robbed her of coherent speech; her words sound like unintelligible gibberish. But as she speaks, she straightens and the sounds she is making shiver around the small group as the hairs on everyone's neck try to stand. Reality seems to quiver slightly as she speaks, but try as they may, none can understand her words except Ehos.

Her body language and tone of voice convey no attempts at deception. Highly defensive at the moment, but not deceptive.

Ehos:
[b]"What?! Why does it matter to you? This has been mine for many, many years. Who are you to accost me in this way?!"

Her tone and demeanor grow demanding and angry; typical in one who has been startled and feels threatened.

Serrin dismisses the shadowy wall. If Lily was that intent on leaving, she wouldn't stop her. However "Lily, I really think you should listen to Mr Phaezriel. He seems really smart. Don't hurt yourself, please!" She almost pleads with her new friend.

I'm assuming what Phaeze did was similar to a Calm Emotions spell, so I'm rolling with that.

As Phaezeriel's calming presences soothes away the panic in Lily's mind, it leaves behind cold, calculating, and rational thought in it's place. She takes a deep breath and closes the clasp of the window with an audible *snap*.

She turns around, her face once again calm and composed, with the red colour slowly receding from her cheeks.

"You're right Serrin. Sorry, I just... was considering what might happen if this was... discovered. she begins, her voice flat, barely inflected.

Her eyes turn to Phaezeriel, and she smiles slightly. Her emotions are still blanketed, so it's not a happy smile. "I apologize for shouting at you, sir. Is it possible to excise and destroy this power of which you spoke?"

Ehos reacts instinctively to the explosion, crouching and placing himself between Alys and the belligerents. Pretty stupid too, since he's unarmed. He winces slightly as Alys shouts, and both Nala and Ryuzo can see a trickle of blood dribble out Ehos' nose.

If Nala is up on the latest gossip, she might recognize Ehos as being the boyfriend of Jaiye, one of Ssrena's lieutenants.

He does bring his datapad up to bear though, the text it displays is an angry red colour, and he's glaring at Ryuzo. 'Back off.'

He didn't know what the hell was going on, but emotions were clearly running high.

After shaking the hand, Treisdan smiles slightly, "I bet that you have a few questions... at least a few... he admits, offering to give at least some explanations if Reviarti wants them...

riviarti shrugs and follows after. Tural, unsurprisingly, isn't far behind.
"My name is Treisdan Achdarach, and I would like to ask your name." the white haired mage is still quite disheveled from before, but he seems grateful for what you did.

"Well. Not as many as you may think. What's with the hand?"

Treisdan's hand begins to re-calcify as he holds it up and flexes it in front of the Zif. "Eligor" He says as the tips of the claws and scales are wreathed in flames, "He is a vestige, and by offering him the feeling of this world he offers me power. As a cost for this power, he leaves this mark upon me, and his personality is added to mine. It is difficult to explain." This explanation is unbelievably simple, but it basically cuts to the heart of the matter.

"Alright then. Sounds good."

Exactly so, I just threw in flavor rather than naming it.

Phaezeriel looks slightly relieved as Lily calms and begins speaking rationally, then the things she is saying sink in and his eyes go wide with shock and horror, and his mental voice is purely dripping with denial, disbelief and revulsion at her suggestion, ::There is no way to do that without causing unpredictable and irreparable harm to your mind and psyche! You could be left a mindless, drooling, simpleton trapped in your own body! That of which you speak is abomination in truth! I would not sever your arm because you did not like how many fingers you had, and I will not do this!:: His expression loses its shocked expression, hardening into a determined mask, his thoughts conveying implacable resolve, ::We will not speak of this again. This is not an option. You can choose not to use it after you learn to control it.::

"Nothing. Nothing will happen to you. For two reasons. One, the old ways of our home are gone, no longer forcing those of us who are different to hide." She pauses and looks Lily directly in her eyes.

"But, the other reason nothing is going to happen to you, were this discovered, is because it changes nothing. Sure, maybe your family will get all worked up due to you no longer being *'pure'*, but that's just outdated nonsense. You're still you, with or without this new ability. It, whatever it is, does not define you, unless you let it. Even if you do let it define you, it doesn't have to be a bad thing. I've let my shadowmancy define me, to an extent, but it doesn't truly change who I am. Whatever Mr Phaezeriel has discovered about you will not change who you are either."

At this point there is a knock at the door of the exam room.

Phaezeriel nods as he moves to the door, ::Heed well the counsel of your friend. This has been a part of you from the beginning. It is part of who you are.::

He opens the door and smiles a tired smile up at Sorchan, ::Professor Del Sol, thank you for joining us. Lily is calmer now, at least outwardly, but I do not think the crisis is resolved based on her last request. I greatly fear that she will come to harm if her mind remains set as it is.::

Sorchan:
::She has no small psychic potential, and seems afraid of not being "pure," though I am missing the import of that belief. She asked me to cut the ability from her mind, a thing akin to chopping off her arm because she didn't like the number of her fingers.::

tural fidgets a bit, quietly standing in the background.

Though Treisdan has lost a lot of his powers of deduction, seeing the quiet curiosity of Tural, and the apparent indifference of Rivarti, he turns to look at him instead. "Did you have any questions?" he directs this question towards the robotic angelic figure.

"Q-quite a few. Firstly... Why would my aura prevent you from summoning him?"

revi looks to tural, surprised he's actually talking.

Treisdan reaches out the claw and dismisses the flames, "Touch the claw. Anything that could dispel the Eligor would prevent his power here and now." No matter how close Tural gets, the claw will not disappear.

"Your aura would have no effect on Eligor. To put it very simply, your power simply is not strong enough to do anything to him." Treisdan says this with a little bit of pride... though his gargantuan ego is still absent.
