Her concept/backstory will change drastically depending on whether or not she can be a fae, and if I make her a PC or NPC.
My initial post was to get the discussion started with Lyn but not via PM as I know she has lots of those, and this doesn't need to be kept a secret atm.
Entirely separate topic:
I know I asked this before, but I can't remember the answer, but was Agartha a planet before the Amethysts showed up, or did they create it whole cloth through the power of their psionics?
Aka, was there a planet before, or did they make a brand new planet?
Well, we have other fey in the game, so I don't see why not. But the big question is, which court? That drastically changes the types of interactions that might occur with the other characters, most especially the fey ones. Wildfae, Winter, and Summer are the choices. None of them are inherently what you'd call nice.
And same answer as the last time you asked. :)
Yes, the small desolate planet already existed and it was terraformed/transformed into Agartha as we know it. Imagine someone started with the moon and turned it into an Earth type planet. So yes, they added material to the existing base. Rather a lot of it. But it wasn't just all created whole cloth out of nothing.

Yea, I know, that's why I'm asking.
Lyn, is this applicable for our Winter Fey. Tis a quote by Harry(I assume Dresden lol): "Winter's nature was beautiful violence, stark clarity, the most feral needs, and animal desires and killer instinct pitted against the season of cold and death—the will and desire to fight, to live, even when there was no shelter, no warmth, no respite, no hope, and no help."

lynora |

Lyn, two things:
1) You haz a PM
B) I coulda sworn there was a diplomacy/relations with other races class, but I didn't see it looking over the class list. Was I imagining this(It would have been a newer class) or have you not gotten around to adding it yet?
I'm not aware of any such class. Not that it wouldn't be appropriate. :)

Since most of what we're using for the fey was inspired by the Dresden books, hell yeah it's applicable. :)

Then Ellsuna is definitely Winter fey.
Edit: Lyn, should I find an existing fey or should I create one via the race builder or is there a base fey race your using?
Fey is a type, not so much a single race. You can use an existing or create one via the race builder. But obviously if you do the second you have to include the relevant info in your profile.

Wow, really? That late? Dang, I didn't realize so much time had passed. I figured it was around mid day.
We picked up after the time skip Friday afternoon after classes got out. So it was already late afternoon at that point. And it's the day before the autumnal equinox so not exactly light out super late.

There are also templates available
Like...
fey creature
seelie
blighted (eg fungal) fey
debased fey (warning: not subtle)
few touched, very low level template. If you're a powerful fey I don't see it too out there for you to give this one to someone else as a portion of your power
fey animal (actually pretty cool)
Certian non fey nature templates could also be adapted for your needs like cold creature green warden or brambled
Or if you don't want a template, there are a number of suitable already built fey like Huldra, nymph, driad, quickling, winter dryad fire nymph and saytr

For your items you could keep the spell storing dagger and cauldron but upgrade them for the setting
Maybe enchant the dagger with some ice or spell casting bonuses, like making it a special focus item like in the witch knife feat l
The cauldron could be upgraded into a blackwick cauldron and then maybe animated and/or enchanted with flight like as in a cauldron of flying. Very memorable mode of transportation/pet
Or if you want something different the pathfinder unchained included two fey themed items that're really cool called the crystalline tiara and the robe of the fae Queen
You could maybe even add some of these abilities to your dagger
For your second class there are also options, you could just let your race work as your class for now
Or you could take oracle or shaman to double down on the witch stuff you already have going on, maybe "feral soul" archetype oracle to embrace that animal instinct flavor text you were talking about above above
There are also a few archetypes built around fey like the fey caller summoner, fey trickster mesmerist, the fey speaker Druid
Loads of sorcerer bloodlines too like kitsune, fey, dark fey, green, hag (may or may not count but as a nature themed witch I thought I'd add it) verdent
if I'm smothering or whatever (I don't think I have the right word) I'm sorry
I'm just bored

Ellsuana |

Nah, you're good Foul :)
Definitely keeping the knife, as athame are key to witches, and yes, enhancing it like you suggested are good ideas.
No idea if I'll keep the cauldron or switch to different item.
I also need a good familiar. Can't use the classic cat, as I have a separate 'witch' character(not the class) who'll have a cat.

Ice Mephit.

When I first made Ellsuana, it was long before Heroes of the Wild had come out, so I went with Elements as her patron.
However, with the release of that book, Storms fits her concept so much better.
And yes Tybs, you and Nala are the main reason I'm staying away from being ice focused.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I have a gestalt PC based on/inspired by the Ice King from Adventure Time, but I wouldn't bring him into this game as a PC.
However, maybe he can be the King of Winter and thus an NPC? Wishful thinking, and I doubt it would be OK, just sucks that I spent so much time on making him, only to have all the games he was made for die very early.

We're well into epic spells aka I'm just making this up as I go along, but it's really, really bad, yeah. If it goes off (which is unlikely...there's like an hour more of casting to go) it would take multiple Wishes and a fair amount of luck to undo. I've been keeping a counter going behind the scenes to see how far into the ritual they had time to get.
And let me just say, Aine and Aithne del Sol are definitely on the list of NPCs leaving me wanting to scrub out my brain after I have to write for them. This has been true for quite some time, but I had to give them the appearance of maybe not being totally evil. >.<

Almost wishing that I had asked for a location so I could shadow walk there
I have some really cool tricks I can do with shadow walk

Chao Yin |

doing a bit of number crunch and Chao Yin can hit a base land speed of 115 on a take ten (120 on 11, 130 on a 20) and knows the haste spell for 145 (150 on an 11, 160 on a 20)
that is very fast for a land speed.
that is faster than any of my characters bar Dave's fly speed
on a 20 that's faster than any of my other character's speed bar none
Did some calculations and that's 91mph... On foot...
important question though, are bending abilities affected antimagic or by Dispel magic (it might also be a good idea to know if they're affected by SR)
Because if he runs into an AMF and that's capable of turning off his wind boost he could go down from 160 to a "mere" 70, reducing his speed by more than half in an instant. That'd be a serious acrobatics check to avoid falling on your face (and then your butt... And then your face... Then your butt.. Then your face... Butt.. Face... Butt...)
Does anyone else have a similar land speed?

Chao Yin |

What's rakki's speed
Also as a note if I'm willing to damage myself to do so I can go faster than the speed mentioned by as much as 30 ft per round without falling unconscious
Though not for long.
Good for the short burst before the finish line

Andromeda Sunwake |

Built to mimic the Flash. Is barely faster than Chao Yin and slower than other speedster types. Nope, this isn't feeding into my general feelings of mediocrity at all. Not a bit. -.-

Andromeda Sunwake |

She's got haste as an at-will and a base speed of 130. So normally (at least what will be normally once she realizes what she can do) she would have a speed of 160. Chao can match that on a 20, but most of the time would be a bit slower. So on average she's just a little bit faster than Chao.
