Hey guys! Looking forward to it.
Three choices here... My elven arcanist, human paladin, or Silas. All are level 3!

Bishop casts the bones.

If I hit 3 before GD 6 count me in. Starting a scenario this Monday so depending on when it ends my glib tongue is at your service.

Which half of gameday you starting this GM? D's game is the first half... this could totally be the second half.... :)

GM Mjolbeard |

Hey D! Yeah, 3-4 is the plan, so either of your characters would be welcome! That would give us a full table. Our current roster is as follows:
GM Red: elven arcanist (not Peppers) or human paladin or Silas (human rogue)
Karmic Knight: Bishop (human rogue)
Massee: Luurg (half-orc alchemist)
Chadius: alchemist or sorcerer
Enchanter Tim: Aiden Richter (human slayer/urogue)
Chyrone: Thomas Hasoshi (swashbuckler/ninja) or summoner
Luurg, I was planning on starting the game in the first half of Game Day VI, but if everyone has pretty full plates for the first half, we could discuss starting in the second half.
Does anyone have a particular preference for when we get started here?

![]() |

Given i'm running a table during the 1st half, i would prefer the 2nd half.
We might be a bit short on the healing department.
Alchemists can use CLW wands, but other than that.....

![]() |

Luurg here only has plans for this game presently, but if this game ran in the second half then I'd join him in with D's game as well if there's still space.

![]() |

Red here! Doesn't look like my arcanist is going to be freed up by Aug 25th. That game's moving at turtle speed. No matter though, I've got my two others, and since we have two rogues, it looks like my paladin would be a better fit. He's actually level 3, I just need to paste his sheet in.

![]() |

Luurg looks ike a melee orientated alchemist.
Serge and Bishop are melee too, AIden probably as well.
If that is the case, it might be more useful to have my summoner tag along.

![]() |

Aiden is a Dirty Trick specialist, so hopefully you'll be getting some blind opponents.
I'm also up for moving this to the 2nd slot. I'm going to squeeze Aiden into a game now, and we should be done by October. If not, I have alternates.

GM Mjolbeard |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Okay! Well it looks like everyone is either indifferent or prefers the second half, so I'm gonna go ahead and say the plan is to start us off on the start date for the second half!

![]() |

Luurg just finished up his game and if we're starting this in the second half I guess I've got time to see about finding him a game to fill in between. If I do find said game then I'll be level 4! And finally have enough gold to buy that mithril breastplate!

GM Mjolbeard |

Go for it, buddy! We'll be starting our game in the second half of Game Day VI, so you should have time.
That goes for everyone, of course. If you're interested in getting your character into another game before we start things off here, please feel free. Just try to join groups that plan to be done before the start we have agreed on here.

GM Mjolbeard |

Good news, everyone! I just received the pdf for the scenario in my downloads, so preparation has officially begun!
Can we do a quick roll call to see who is still on board? Remember, we're starting play during the second half of GameDay 6, so consider that when it comes to which character(s) you'll have available.

![]() |

Luurg here should be ready to go and will be level 4 by then. Looks like the last of his goblin games just ended as well so he may actually be 4.1.
Melee alchemist.

![]() |

Serge will also be good to go for this one, still level 3!

![]() |

Bishop is available if you still have a spot to fill Gallix. He's lvl 3. Let me know.
Thanks

![]() |

Luurg just finished his mission, just needs to be updated to level 4 with shiny new armor and level 2 extracts!

GM Mjolbeard |

Sweet!
Bishop, you already had a spot reserved, so Bishop is definitely welcome!
Since we're coming up on our start date in less than a month, I've set up our slides for the scenario. I'd like everyone to go ahead and fill in the requested info on slide 2. Let me know if you need assistance with your tokens.

![]() |

Less than a month? Try less than a WEEK!
Day Job: Craft Alchemy + Crafter's Fortune + Boon: 1d20 + 13 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 13 + 5 + 1 = 25

![]() |

Serge is ready to go!
Profession (cook): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

GM Mjolbeard |

Alrighty folks, we'll kick things off tomorrow morning! Looking forward to gaming with you all!

I think Luurg is now all set, barring some post mission briefing purchases. I'm still waiting on his finalized chronicle from his last mission but I've got what I'm pretty sure is his final gold total down and have a bit left over if it changes.

GM Mjolbeard |

Hey folks. Sorry for the radio silence the past couple days. I'm out of town right now and won't have access to any of the material for the scenario until Sunday. I promise to get a good post or two in then though.
Thanks for your patience.

![]() |

But that's not nearly as dramatic as his body never being found! ;)

![]() |

FYI, I'll be away most of Tuesday and Wednesday for work, so if I get to post it only will be Tuesday early and/or Wednesday late.

![]() |

I'll be traveling for the next week. I should be able to make a post here and there, but don't be surprised if it's 2-3 days between posts. Please bot me if necessary. In combat, Aiden tries to get a flank for sneak attack or dirty trick -blind (he can do it for free on a sneak attack).

This chase should be interesting. A couple questions:
What happens if we catch up to or pass wolfman? Do we win by assaulting him or only if we beat him to the finish?
Do speed boosts come into play? The other chases I've been in have bonuses/penalties associated with speeds that are above and below 30ft/round.
*Luurg should do pretty well on these if he rolls average, especially given he's got his mutagen and heroism still chugging along I would assume, unless that time in the sewer was longer than I think?
**Edit: Also. If the only goal is to win the race vs the Wolf vs catching and attacking him, it may make sense to have the party all on the same initiative vs the split init to speed things up. Chases can take a long time.

If this chase is anything like the one in Scions series we are doing it will be entertaining
