Djalos nods. "That is an interesting ability. As for my vision... I unleash a magical force that could destroy and kill anyone within an approximately sixty foot radius whenever I open my eyes. Thus, the blindfold."

He continues eating his food. "That is why I am at Avalon. A good vision is my most valuable tool, and I can only really 'see' things when I concentrate on them. Granted, I can sense invisible foes at a distance now, but vision is an important tool..."

'So, how long have you.. uhh.. not been understood?'

Alys falls in next to Ehos as they start walking towards the cafeteria.

Ehos:
"Aren't we a pair, eh? You cannot speak, and I cannot be understood. You are the first person to know what I was saying, in this form at least, since I was nine years old. They found me in my bed one morning cuddled up to this." Her hand pats the hilt of her katana. "That is when the magic and the Words came to me. Since then, I speak like this and no one has been able to speak with me."

Her voice is sad, with more than a little bitterness in it.

Anyone around Alys who can usually see magical energies will see a brimming potential of unshaped and uncontrolled magic swirling around her, occasionally flickering with the rhythm of her words.

The colour rises in Lily's skin until she looks virtually apopletic, her beautiful fair skin blotching with ugly red colour. "I don't have to sit here and listen to this slander! she screams, loud enough that those outside her private room in the infirmary can hear her. Small sparks begin to fly off the Firebird, striking things and sizzling away without causing harm.

She draws herself up, standing her full height above the demon. "I don't know what your little game is demon, but I am a pureblooded Firebird of noble descent, not some abomination." She practically spits that last word. "I refuse to tolerate this abuse." she says with finality, storming towards the door and unless stopped, will leave the infirmary entirely.

when the group enters, Master Hito approaches and bows to everyone.

Lang, he says, many of these people you have met before, please, introduce your associates.

turning to Ephebe, Mater Hito continues. Master Blackscales, I ask you accompany me, as a representative of the Avalon School I wish to introduce you to some of the other Ambassadors from the region. also I personally wish to welcome you to our home.

Master Hito escorts Ephebe to another part of the room where there are leaders of the water and earth bending communities.

I'll let Ephebe ad-lib a little here as she may even know some of them.

however out of the corner of Ephebe's eye she catches a glimpse of some people that seem familiar, It looks like the rest of the Waverider "clan" are here to provide some entertainment. (of course Dom and Mel are not here)

Ephebe did her best to play the part of the polite ambassador. She'd always excelled at politics. But this was a little different than the politics she'd grown up playing. Less dangerous, but also less predictable. Whole different set of variables here. And she got caught in conversation with an earthbending master, one Sen-fa, who had been a student of Master Quo and had therefore known the other her when she was a child. That was difficult to navigate since other her had failed to mention Sen-fa in any of her journals and she didn't have any of those memories to call on. She had a bad feeling the earthbender was suspicious of her now. Well, there was nothing she could do to help that. Part of the dangers of being stuck taking over someone else's life.

He keeps looking around from sunken eye-sockets, hoping to see the source of his unease.

I had thought that I would feel better... I am better... I just don't feel it at all. He is gone, but I don't feel whole, It will pass, I'm sure I just don't... Treisdan nearly bumps into the buffet line as he wrestles with his unsettling thoughts. Mumbling an apology he picks out a few things and heads towards a table near the back of the room.

Though not many people were familiar with Treisdan before his schism, his change in demeanor is absolute, he lacks the utter confidence that he once used to emanate.

When he goes to set down his tray he is confronted by one of the haughty teenagers that make up a small but vocal portion of Avalon's student body, "Hey," he sneers, "That seat is taken." Treisdan glances at the other seats of the nearly empty table, but the student forestalls the reply "Those too." he chuckles, while the table's other inhabitants grin mischievously. Walking slowly, leaning heavily on the staff, Treisdan looks for another seat, not even saying a word.

It sucks to be so out of shape when it comes to posting, but it feels so good to be back

a pseudodrsgon is sitting on a table alone, listening to a nearby group. The table is otherwise empty.

Treisdan looks to Marcell and the table where he is resting. He makes a motion to set down the tray, as if asking permission non-verbally, Assuming he gets it he nods gratefully and just barely manages to not fall into the seat.

He does not try to make conversation as he eats, and listlessly eats, as though lost in other thoughts. He constantly glances around, like prey with the scent of a predator in its nose. His skin feels as though it is crawling.
