Tybalt Baneko |
Tybalt watches Pyry help his sister, subconsciously white knuckling the side of his bed.
"Rena, Hun. She's gonna be alright."
He frowns just a little, wishing he could do something else to help.
There's not much he can do being stuck in the cold room, especially little with his current lack of the energy to do magic.

"There is no such beast as pure chaos. There is a pattern to all, no matter how wide. - Carrillion Bufrett, on the topic chance."
Hermes quotes something he must've read somewhere.
"Perhaps to solve this problem, a program is required to read the wide patterns and predict the next move."
Kevin Ramos |
Kevin arrives a minute or so after Dave with a metal keg on his shoulder marked with the alchemical sign for holy water.
"Do we have anything yet?"
He addresses the two.
Arthur Barren |
Arthur grins "and then potentially alter the pattern to fit your needs! I think you're on to something Hermes, you get to analyzing the data points, I'll see how viable, if at all, direct or indirect manipulation of the chronoton wave fields would be, unless new guy wants to take a crack at it?"

Lucas looks at her poking her food "have you made any friends yet..?"
HRMS-XI "Hermes" |
"Ms.Waverider, I will need your expertise in temporal wavelength analysis. If you would translate the scans into a format that can be programmed and dictate said, I will input them into a high memory pattern replicator."
Hermes stands ready with his disorientingly colorful datapad.

Lewis stays with Tarka, glad they got the game that didn't mean more walking.
Sara and Bee |
Sara moves away a little bit when he goes to put his hands on her shoulders, moving towards Sun a little bit.
She shakes her head a little bit, showing that she doesn't want to be touched, but is still going to follow along with the things he does.
Sara kinda has a thing about men. :(

"Just lucky really. Stuff just goes my way if left up to chance. It's sometimes easier to take guesses than try and puzzle stuff out."
He hits a short riff on the ukulele that sounds vaguely familiar.

"Born with it. Not a big deal. And it doesn't work all the time. If it kept anything from going wrong, I wouldn't be here. Y'know? Don't tell anyone, but if I ask to play Blackjack, say no."
He winks and smiles.

"You really are full of surprises, little brother," she croaked, her voice still healing from the burning cold.
"You kidding me? You're amazing. Don't ever listen to anyone who says otherwise. They don't know what they're talking about," she said, her voice getting stronger as she spoke. Her skin was starting to return to a normal hue as the frostbite faded away.

The nurse had the good grace to blush.

The oceanic tinted robe causes a slight scraping noise along the floor as the older gentleman with sun tanned skin raises a hand to knock upon the door that he has only gone through a handful of times.
The soft thump of his hand upon the stone barely makes enough noise to draw attention to his presence.
Even though outwardly he appears completely calm, he straightens his robes and his hand idly brushes his hair out of his eyes, waiting for the one behind the door to answer

The door swung open on its own as the house decided that this might constitute an emergency and overrode the security protocols.
Inside Ryleh's home, rather than the usual tidy appearance, the place was a disaster. The floor was covered with broken glass. At least a couple of mirrors, teacups, pieces of glass sculptures, all of it littered the floor of the large space. And in the center of the mess Ryleh had collapsed. There were tear tracks on her face and she was bleeding from several small cuts, though nothing life threatening. She didn't notice at first that she wasn't alone in the room anymore.

Pyry smiles, glad he could help his sister and casts the spell again as the last of the white flames fade away, replacing them with ice cold flames. He hurries back to Tybalt and sits next to the feline.
"Sorry about all the fire. I hope the cold kind makes up for it."

She looks up, looking a bit lost as she surveys the destruction around her.
"Sheessuroussen?" Her voice sounds small and unsure. She raises a hand to wipe away tears, but realizes before she does that there is blood on it, dripping off of several small cuts. She sets her hand back down."My granddaughter," she said in a near whisper. "She was...she was killed. They are planning to bring her back, to ressurect her....but....I can't get that image out of my head. She looked so young and small....so much like....." Ryleh swallowed hard, trying not to let the tears start flowing again. "Why? Why is it always the children that die?" she whispered, pain filling her eyes.

Sheessuroussen reaches out to Ryleh, setting a hand on her shoulder, "I cannot begin to explain the motives of those who would kill a child. I cannot know the pain that you are currently experiencing." His hand squeezes gently, his monstrous strength is carefully restrained so as not to hurt Ryleh, "I truly am sorry for your loss, but please, The hatchling will be saved, and that is what matters now." his robe shimmers slightly as he uses a simple spell to remove the dust, blood, and tearstains from Ryleh's face.
