Thanks JD! Feat has been changed. Look forward to jumping back in. These are Mac's thoughts:

1. Check in town for availability of ghost touch rune (Level 4) item. If not available in town, will pay for someone to check for it in Absalom, since we're pretty close to the city, right?
2. We go down to the drake's underwater cavern. Use scroll to look for treasure and any dangers.
3. After we find treasure, hopefully, Mac wants to go back to Graulgust's lair. Mac does not really want to be walking around with the morlock king's head. GM, is there something else that he had that was remarkable so I could show to an npc as evidence that we killed him. Like a crown or cudgel or specific ring, etc.? If not, I will have to cut off his head.
4. With proof of the king's death, will show that to the mitflit boss on Level 1 to see if that gets us any reward.
5. Visit the NE corner of the second level where we ran into the ribbon of energy related to Otari. I know it led us into danger the last time, but since we've cleared the level, it will be easier for us to follow it now. Hopefully, it resets with a new day.
6, Select a way down to 3rd level - I think we have various options.

I thought it over and decided to take Toughness instead of Wary Disarmament. It just kept gnawing at me taking a skill feat instead of a general one since I get a skill feat every other level but not many general feats.

Mac, in response to your questions:

1. Otari is a Level 4 Settlement so actually, the Otari Garrison, led by Captain Longsaddle, sells weapon runes. It has a ghost rune for sale for 75 gp.

3. I understand, forcing you to carry his head is kind of macabre. We will say Graulgust's club was personally style with his personal sigil so as to informs NPCs that it belonged to him. I am fine with that.

with Trip being such an effective strategy, I'm considering to swap my spear for a Scorpion Whip. It's uncommon, though I'd need approval and access somehow.

As Mac or someone else pointed out, you're not required to have a free hand to cast spells in Second Edition rules. Even before the remaster when we had 1e style spell components, the rules said you didn't need your hands to be free to perform somatic components, just not restrained, in order to provide the necessary gestures.

You only need a free hand in order to retrieve and use spell loci (remaster focuses), AFAIK the only spells that require loci are planar keys used in planar travel spells attuned to the plane you're traveling to.

BTW That scroll of Infuse Vitality is only 1st level so it only costs 4 gp, so that's 8 silver from each of us.

It looks like Pen is the only one who can use the wand of magic missile if he wants it.

Considering the amount of wisp foreshadowing we've been having, I think it's safer to hold on to the magic missile, although it's force something in the remastered. I'll wave the wand instead of the sword.

I don't have a magic melee weapon, but greataxes aren't finesse weapons and can't be wielded in one hand anyway, so I can't use it. When I get the money (probably next time we go onto town at the end of the adventuring day) for 52 gold I can get Blazons of Shared Power which will let me share the rune(s) on my pistol with my whip.

quick note: Thaumaturge always comes with Dubious Knowledge feat. I know that's annoying for GMs, but I would be very happy if you sometimes throw one wrong/one correct answer at us, when you find the time (and I failed my EV roll).

Actually, I would rule that any magical healing will stop the bleed damage automatically, except that Hagrym cannot heal this round, so you are still bleeding.

I'm on vacation until Sunday and I'm not sure how reliable my Internet access will be, so if I end up holding things up, you can bot me.

If we're attacked before our next long rest, my current ammo is
Lesser Aberration Bane in one barrel, lesser cold ammo in the other
One backup of each in reserve, plus 3 ghost charge bombs

And crossbow bolts x 30

My advanced alchemy loadout for tomorrow will be:
Lesser Aberration Bane x 4
Lesser Acid x 4
Lesser Cold x 4
Life Shot x 4
Ghost Charge x 2

With life shot I'll be able to be a ranged healer. If you're willing to be hit by it, you're off-guard to my shot. If you get hit, you take no damage and instead heal 1d4 damage and get +1 item bonus vs poisons and diseases for 1 minute. On a crit, you roll healing twice and take the better result.

Since we're in town anyway, if we sell everything in the loot doc except for the wayfinder and crafters eyepiece, we'll get 98.2 gp (assuming that "handaxe" means "hatchet" since I couldn't find a handaxe in AoN) which means 19.64 gp. With that much, I'll have enough for blazons of shared power (level 3 magic item), which I'd like to buy (52 gp, which I'll be able to cover with my existing cash and my share of the loot). They will let me share any applicable runes from my pistol with a one-handed weapon (my whip).

Even if we decide to keep the silver hatchet for fighting werewolves or whatever, we'll still get 76 gp (15.2 gp each) which is still enough for my blazons.

Have you got a potency (+1) rune for your primary weapon?

For when you reach 4th level (since IIRC you can only buy items of your level or lower) there's a shield reinforcing rune for 75 gp that gives your shield more Hardness and HP

The staff of healing and healer's gloves would be great too but they're both level 4 items too.

Not really relevant but I just discovered that PF2E has a full-fledged portal gun as a level 15 unique item: mountebank's passage

a Wand of Bless is a 3rd level item and costs 60 gp. It's a spell you Wil use for your whole career, every day.

Okay, wand of Bless for 60 is a good start.

Potency rune +1 looks to be 35 gold. This rune only adds to attack and not damage, correct? Would such a rune for me hammer be available in town, GM?

Yes potency is to attack only. Striking runes increase weapon damage.

Hey guys, as I have said before, Otari is a Level 4 settlement so anything from Level 1-4 items are available, as long as they are not rare. So please list your wish list of items with their costs so I may approve them. No need to ask for permission for each item. I think this will be more efficient.

Sounds good. I think I'll also buy a vial of lesser antiplague for 3 gold and 20 black powder rounds for 2 sp as backup ammo since we aren't going underwater any time soon AFAIK.
