Hello! Welcome to my table. Before we start, please do the following:
Please complete the macros linked at the top of the page. This will be used for initiative and secret rolls.
Please also post your token to the slides and post your position in the marching order. The slides are also linked at the top of the page.
As per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.
This applies to Scenarios only
You may select a consumable item from the Pathfinder Provisions list. These used to be the school items you get prior to starting an adventure. Quests and bounties do not receive provisions.

HIGH TIER LEVEL BUMPS
To provide low level players a more fun and fair experience, PCs whose level equals the adventure’s base level (such as a 3rd-level PC playing in a Level 3–6 scenario) gain a temporary boost when playing in the higher level range called a level bump to represent the higher-level PCs’ mentorship and support.
Increase every DC the PC has by 1.
Increase the attack modifiers, attack damage, spell damage, saving throw modifiers, skill modifiers, Perception modifiers, and AC of the PC by 1.
Increase the Hit Point totals of the PC by 10 or by 10%, whichever is higher.
These adjustments are less beneficial than gaining a level, yet they provide the PC more survivability and opportunity to contribute to the adventure experience, reducing the degree to which higher-level PCs might overshadow these less experienced Pathfinders.
You should also remind higher level PCs to apply any mentor boons they might have purchased.
Apply the relevant adjustments to the PC's animal companions, eidolons, and familiars as well. If a value is already increased by applying the adjustment to a PC (such as a familiar's save modifiers and AC), do not increase the value a second time.

Thevenin has the Horizon Hunters mentor boon.
While working with less experienced Pathfinder allies, you provide important insights that keep your less experienced colleagues safe from harm. For any PCs benefiting from a Level Bump and whose levels are lower than yours, you increase the Level Bump’s modifier to saving throws to 2.
Normal: A Level Bump increases a PC’s saving throw modifiers by 1.
And, I have 3 glyphs, which I'll give to the 3 lowest level characters.
Edit: Happy to be part of your evaluation game! I hope we're all super crazy and get you into multiple tough GMing situations so you can showcase your skills ... or ... the complete opposite of that. Whichever you prefer.
Onye Dawon 2e
|
Good day, everyone. Onye Dawon 2e is the profile for BT Prowler.
I have 2 Glyphs.
EDIT: Pending the mission briefing, based on the scenario description, I'm taking a cold-iron alloy orb as my provision.
EDIT EDIT:
Combat Mentor boon effect is available to our Level 1 character (you can only take advantage of 2 different mentor boons total).
While working with less experienced Pathfinder allies, you provide pointers and lead drills that ensure your newer colleagues’ attacks strike true. For any PCs benefiting from a Level Bump and whose levels are lower than yours, you increase the Level Bump’s modifier to attack rolls to 2.

Oh and Thevenin, I'm hoping for a nice quiet evaluation... My second eval was achieved in an insane way... so I'd rather not have any more drama... :)
Eval #2 -- after the game, the person evaluating me (Xyntryx, ex-VC for PFS Philippines) passed away suddenly. I checked with Alex and no evaluation was ever received. When I checked with PFS Philippines, they told me that they hadn't bothered telling Paizo yet... I passed my 2nd eval but with zero feedback... I basically wanna sic the BBEG from 05-18 on the local PFS lodge for dropping the ball!

My bad! I just did it.
Lande: You've put down Scout as your Exploration Activity, but you've got Perception +10 and Onye Dawon and I have +8s and would otherwise Search (the other three are Avoiding Notice or Defending). Unless you have a feat or something, it would be better if one of us with the lower modifer Scouted, and you Searched. If Lande changes to Search, Thevenin will Scout; if Lande remains Scouting, Thevenin will Search.

Shifty, are you in the Sydney area? Might be heading over there later in the year... Fancy a game? :)
GM Tiger

Onye, I could be mistaken but IIRC Barbarians don't take the AC hit anymore in the Remaster (I don't play barbarians so maybe Mrs Crinkle can clarify)? :)
Onye Dawon 2e

Correct. But Giant barbarians gain Clumsy 1 when wielding their giant weapons.

Ah! ok.
Mrs. Crinkle

Yeah, you just get temp HP, a bonus to damage when raging, and can't use anything with the Concentrate trait unless the action also has the Rage trait. Very simple.

Tirion is not applying his level bump. And, unless other people offered him different mentor boons in private, which I doubt, is definitely not using my Combat Mentor boon.
Maybe an explanation would be helpful? (I'm on my way to work, else I would explain them.)
GM Tiger
|
I've already asked him to apply his level bump but he hasn't responded. I just changed it in the macros.

My bad, long week of the big boss finally making an appearance and doing everyone’s performance evals has had me stressed out- I definetly haven’t been posting as I should! Or adding level bumps, etc. Will fix shortly.
GM Tiger: Tirion is using a longbow. 1st attack each round adds 1d8 precision damage for precision edge Ranger.
Also, not that this matters, but GM Tiger ran my 1st ever PFS game, so I’ll give them 10 stars towards their eval!

"The first time you hit your hunted prey in a round, you also deal 1d8 additional precision damage."
So you have to use Hunt Prey first (one action) and the damage applies the first time you hit in a round, not necessarily your first attack.

No worries. I kinda wondered what happened to you :)

My apologies. The beginning of summer has been a little nuts for me, schedule-wise.
GM Tiger

Fun fact -- this particular trap is what Nomadical sprung on us. Our nagaji gunslinger was trying to remove the wax with his body while the fight was going on...
Lande Striden
|
Since this is a GM eval, I'll post this publicly.
I think you should have given Lande and Onye rolls to spot the trap/hazard at the beginning of the encounter rather than Mrs Crinkle as those were the two PCs using the Search exploration activity according to the macro sheet.
GM Tiger
|
Good point. Noted for next time :)
Does this apply even if they're not in front?
GM Tiger
|
I usually apply it to everyone Searching in the party, with the exception of what happened here: not everyone started off with line of sight.t
Ah. ok.
Mrs. Crinkle

Thevenin channels his inner Bob Ross.
"Happy little trees ..."
A tree springs up right behind Mrs. Crinkle.
◆◆ Protector Tree (2nd)
◆ Shield
And here I was thinking that I'm the only one who watches Bob Ross... :)
A happy little tree springs up behind Mrs Crinkle before Thevenin casts Shield.
Back before the pandemic, I volunteered in the art classroom at my kid's middle school. The art teacher there had the kids follow along with Bob Ross during their painting unit. He became an icon in her classes. At the end of the year, they screen-printed t-shirts with his headshot combined with the school mascot. I still have mine.
Thevenin Serkat
|
My kids found some Bob Ross meme, and asked who he was, so we let/had/made them watch an episode so they'd get it.
The legend will live on another generation!
GM Tiger

I use Bob Ross mainly for ASMR. There's something really hypnotic about his voice :)
Lande Striden

One of the local art studios here as a Bob Ross Inc. certified instructor. It's a pretty rigorous course from what I understand. Not that he's the inventor of the technique, but Bob Ross Inc. is very protective of the Bob Ross name and they will go after you if you try to associate your painting classes with the Bob Ross name without being certified.
GM Tiger
|
Oh the owner of Bob Ross Inc basically fleeced Bob of all his earnings. Essentially they tried to keep his son from continuing to paint in his style. They also "own" all of his paintings.
GM Tiger

Shifty, do you actually come up with the rhymes on the fly?? (in awe)
"Pennypockets" Nicnax
|
Yeah I do - I actually do them at the game table when face to face.
I keep a note of the mission specs, everyone's character name, and weave the storyline so far into Limerrick. It's great because its a nice add-in element when we need to make all these perform and social checks in-game.
It's limmericks when not in combat, but goblin song when in combat.
The hard part is coming up with the longer goblin songs though, as they require a bit more thought when everyone is all excited at the table and yelling over each other and the GM, so they might be here and there, not every round.
I do the same with all my performing Goblins.
GM Tiger
|
My trip to oz will probably be pushed back to next year. I'd love to get into a game with you and witness this first hand! :)
Mrs. Crinkle
|
@Pennypockets: That's awesome! I try to do something similar with my bard in PbP, but I need to spend a fair amount of time googling for inspiration, thinking, and editing before I get anything useful. Some folks have a gift for improvisation, which impresses me every time. Good job!

I'll move us along later today. I just got internet service back at home and it's 2am here.

We are near the end of the adventure. If you'd like your downtimes part of your chronicles, please go ahead and roll them.
