Had a super busy last week or so. My bro and I worked a local convention this weekend, but it all came together very late. Thus, much scrambling to get ready.
Ya'll can feel free to jump into the arena and spar with each other. I'll make a quick post to get that goin if ya want.

Investigator build didn't work out since there's no Free Action Study, only Swift. Here's his pertinent stats, he'll ocassionally pull out a random trick like causing the enemy to bleed or something from his Rogue toolkit, or possibly intimidating it if we somehow get a surprise round. (Free Phantom Thief gives him a +15 to intimidate, lol)
Epic Cognatogen and Mutagen +10 to Mental or Physical [Plan is to drink the cognatogen, and if running out of bombs, cower and drink the physical mutagen]
HP: 240 (hd) + 40 (mythic) + 420 (con) + 30 (fcb) = 730
AC: 71 Touch: 50 FF: 41 (+29 Dex, +10 Natural, +1 Dodge, +10 Deflection, +1 Armor, +10 Enhancement)
Fort: +14+17+2+12 = +45
Ref: +29+17+2+12 = +60
Will: +7+10+2+12 = +31
Will, before battle, drink a few different "%chance to miss" mutagens so as to not outright die by flyby attacks.
Damage (assuming it hits, and d6 bombs aren't dodged):
The Grenade Launcher: +8 Reliable Speed Ghost Touch Musket (1d12+29+11 BP, 15d6+29 Fire or Cold or Acid or 15d4+29 Sonic or Force [DC 64 Reflex/Fort halves], 14d6+10 Sneak Attack, +3 to one attack)
Assuming they all hit, that's 7d12+280+105d6+238+96d6+70 per turn after mutagen, even more if Targeted Admixture is added, adding 29 for each successful hit for giving up splash damage. That assumes, of course, all attacks hit. That's an average of 1300 or so damage per turn. I specifically avoided 3rd party shenanigans aside from the Epic Handbook, so I probably have the most underpowered character here. He can, however, cause *absolutely unavoidable* damage if he so wishes, with splash damage from force bombs.
1.3k damage average assuming everything lands with mutagens up, 1.5k with targeted admixture. Due to the nature of bombs, this isn't unlimited and he can only keep it up for like 10 or so rounds before his numbers no longer include the bombs. The sneak attack still applies.

For what it's worth, about 90% of Henry Pascal's build is 1st party Pathfinder + Epic Jesse. The only things outside of those are two items from Spheres and some stuff from Mythic Spheres.

I also think Investigator is pretty powerful. Studied Combat might not ever be a free action, but it's still one of the strongest buffs in the game, IMHO.
Combined with that, you could use Combat Inspiration and an Inspired weapon to greatly aid your offensive capabilities. If you make use of the Half-Elf Favored Class Bonus, you could greatly boost the effectiveness of all of your Inspiration rolls.
If you're still hung up about action economy, then rather than worshipping Haagenti, you could worship Cayden Caliean, and make great use out of his Divine Fighting Technique combined with a pair of Caliean Fighting Tankards. It'll allow you to replace attacks in your full attack with drinking a potion or an extract. So you could buff yourself faster than anyone else.
The same combo also allows for some ludicrous shenanigans when Combined with the extract, Flash Forward + some variation of Pounce (like Pummeling Charge).
If you wanted, you could easily be one of the top damage dealers on the team as an Alchemist/Investigator, while also being the best at skills without needing any 3rd party materials.
EDIT: Also, I'm noticing that you have 2 69s in your stats. If you aren't doing it for the meme, then you should note that in the Character Creation rules, we were allowed to decrease one stat to boost another. If you want, you can decrease your Strength from 20 to 18, to boost both 69s into 70s.
...Or you could go even further and tank your STR down to 10, boosting both other scores up to 74, if you wanted.

John Smith the Alchemist |

Originallt I was only doing Investigator to reach the 40s number of d6, but I never saw the rule about tanking a score to increase the others. I'm sadly not doing 69/69 for thememe, but it was so perfect I jept it. I'll look into updating ir later.

Weekend got away from, in part cuz I had to watch Dragon Prince season 6 tonight.
Here's what we're gonna do:
I'll finish writing up Catzilla's attacks and damage, make sure I have all of the special abilities down from the templates, and then we'll get this fight started.
It won't be insanely optimized, but it should be able to last a few rounds, and maybe even drop one of ya.
If people are still interested in a mega battle with more levels/mythic and a far more optimized, crazypants version of Catzilla with those templates I mentioned earlier we can eventually build towards that...

Henry Pascal - Master of Form |

Technically, you could also abuse Combine Extracts with the Caliean Fighting Tankards.
It could potentially be insane, in terms of both buffs and offensive potential.
Flash Forward + Pounce build also helps greatly against Flyby Attack.
With the huge bonuses of the Investigator's Studied Combat + Free Greater Combat Inspiration to boot, the potential damage is insane.

What Would the setting be?
it could be fun to have it in a City NEW-TOKIO or City A
FIGHT Catzilla' and save the locals ...
OnePunch man anyone.

Henry Pascal - Master of Form |

You mean having secondary conditions for the battle? Like protecting people and minimizing the damage to the surroundings? That does kind of sound cool.

The Sapphire light |

yes, we are meant to be the good guys. and if we are to die saving lives is something a hero would fight for

Are we the Good Guys?
Or are we... some kind of... Suicide Squad?

The Sapphire light |

Oooo that could be fun as well, there where some GURPS rules for Capital Damage in one of the superhero books. Mad reading.

The Sapphire light |

Does Amanda waller have a Cat by any chance?

Henry Pascal - Master of Form |

At this point, I'm willing to face the original pre-rework version of Catzilla, 167 AC and all. I think we could take it.

Last week was rough and busy. Sick for a few days, worked around our house with my mom in the very high heat/humidity which drained me quick, and tryin to get a job kinda killed much of my productivity.
That said, Catzilla is basically done(I got a lot finished last night), and we can start ASAP.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Turns out, anti-personnel exploding bullets, the Gunchemis's entire shtick, is a warcrime!
Then it's a good thing there is no Geneva convention here and we aren't soldiers.

I hope you're doing better.
It's alright to focus on getting a job over this game. That's way more important, IMHO. You have to take care of yourself and those close to you before you can worry about others.

The Sapphire light |

I agree, Monkeygod Health and work come 1st, we can wait, and I hope things work out soon for you. :)

I agree with everyone here! Definitely focus on IRL first. We always have the tavern to roleplay in for now. I might start looking at the level 50 character soon too even if he never gets to play I love a good theory Craft lol

The Sapphire light |

Sorry to ask, but if this one is done, could I ask for it to be deactivated as a game. Thanks
