btw, if the same people wanna play 06-09, we can keep the same table (just change the macros and slides...

Well the Power of legends is a metaplot and it is one of those where ranges are all over the place ;)
First one is 1-4, than 5-8 (past those levels already)
The following four are 7-10 and one that is 9-12 ;)
Than goes back to 7-10 (but if we start at 9 I think we would be out of tier for that one),
and land on 3-6 ;)

06-03 is a nasty scenario though... I've run it once -- don't know if I wanna do it again...
EDIT - I wouldn't mind playing 06-03 just to see how someone else runs it.
I'll have a look at 06-07...

Just finished running 6-03. It's a tough one to run. Feel like every GM post took me 30 minutes to put together. Also, the middle encounter, if played with the tactics that make sense, is very tough.

Agreed. it's written as if the scenario wants the party to fail.

I'm keen to stick with the group. No strong feelings about the scenarios, but sticking to a metaplot is nice.

![]() |

Liam, you gonna stick with this bunch? I can do 06-07. But most likely after Paizocon starts.

![]() |

Let me double-check... Oh, Liam's not even in the level range for anything I signed up for on PaizoCon. No conflict there.
So sure. There is a particular adventure I'd like to play with this character eventually (4-17: Trapping the Hag's Claw), but that won't put him out of the level range.

Ooo, 4-17 was real fun to play.
If there's enough interest I could acquire the scenario and GM it. High level play is quite different from lower levels.

I'm interested. But not right now -- I don't have a PC free ATM in that range.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

So are we doing 06-07 or 04-17? My 9th level PC just became available... If 06-07, please complete RPG Chronicles so we can get started... :)

![]() |

I'm good with 06-07 and I've filled out RPG Chronicles.
Looks like 4 signups over there, so we at least have the minimum to get started.

I'm in as well, but I'm going to swap into my Lvl 10 champion. I need to think about this fighter build a little. I GM credited him up a couple levels and the build doesn't have much interesting going on, mechanically.

No worries -- just please change the stats in the macros and your token (unless you wanna keep the handsome green kobold) :)

If we're going to game this skill challenge, I vote that we start it over and discuss whose going to do what here.
My best skills are Athleticism at a total of +23 and Intimidation at a total of +19.
And we can do the others the same way. After the first round, it will be easier because we'll know who has the best modifier in each skill.

![]() |

Athletics and Crafting, both at +20.
I suppose I should do "He'll do it..." then.

![]() |

Ally with the innocent: Deception +19
He'll do it : Arcana +17 is my best
I heard about rubber bones: occult +20 (and with assurance can hit 25 without rolling - not that it looks like that will help here.)
Shell game: Society +19
She can support with bardic lore at +15 as well.

![]() |

Teja, looks like you have the best bonus for Ally with the innocent, so why don't you try that one next to keep us from taking penalties on the rest of the rolls?

![]() |

The GM can reuse my >He'll do it!< roll from before or make a +15 Intimidation roll.

Thank you, dice bot, for not embarrassing me.
