Haven't had a chance to really dig into my Player Core PDF yet but as Palo's a summoner I don't think there's anything I need to change or update with her anyway *except* maybe spells. Will note accordingly if that's the case.

Yeah, mostly the cantrips. The damage cantrips all had their damage tweaked to adjust for having ability bonus damage removed. Either by reprinting or by compatibility errata.
GM Tiger |
the one thing I noticed is that clerics before L5 now have a flat 4 extra heal spells instead of the CHR +1...
Felinzi |
Yeah, there is a lot of good errata in the Remaster in general. Personally I like the addition of Reposition and the changes to Disarm. Corabee may actually start using Disarm.
Runic Weapon is on all traditions now, yes? If we are getting bonus items, I would take that.
Felinzi |
A couple more things to note:
One, don't take English lessons from Felinzi. His grammar isn't the greatest.
Two, Incendiary Aura is probably close enough to friendly fire that I should mention it. It doesn't cause damage by itself, but will amplify any fire damage that you take. It is a fairly large area and there is no way for me to turn it off once cast, or to exclude allies from the effect (other than difficult positioning). So if anyone wants me to not use it, let me know.

Fighter gets Expert with simple and martial weapons at level 1.
So +4 STR, +4 Expert, +1 level for +9 total.
I haven't played a fighter, but I hear about them a lot because of that proficiency bump.

"What's wrong with fighters?" Barak asks, indignantly, then sighs. "Everyone prefers my dinosaur-obsessed sister."

"Heh. The books are hilarious, bro. Keep it up!"
We're also probably confusing Arn and Palomia here with this cross-table banter.

Palomia - probably
Arn - no. I wouldn't surprised if she's gone through the entire length of that table (ZeroPharaoh has read through my past campaigns)... and that she's "stalked" all our characters already :)Caiten |
That would be quite a feat. Not that it isn't possible, but it would certainly involve a lot of reading.

While I'm admittedly missing some context, I've engaged in enough cross-table & cross-character banter myself that I definitely 'get' it and am not put out by seeing it :)
Now...off to post my actions finally >.>

"I like you just fine. And I think your sister is still a bit mad at me."
Ummm... what did you do exactly, Macondi? ;)

I failed a search check and it all went downhill from there.
To piece back together the sequence of events...
I failed a search check and GM Tiger gave me a scroll with a novel that had the bottom ripped off - so the story wasn't complete.
So I used that as a stage prop for the rest of that adventure. At the end, I asked the Pathfinder leaders if they knew what story it was so that I could read the rest of it.
So Tiger told me that it was The Tales of Bitisururu Blue - one in a small series of short stories written recently and is clearly based on Bitty Blue (one of Hilary's characters and one that I am playing along side in a different game with a different character).
I don't actually remember whose idea it was, but at some point we had a meeting on discord and decided that Macondi actually wrote that scroll series and is just so scatterbrained (Lore Oracle) that he doesn't remember the stories themselves when he reads them. Though he does remember writing them when questioned about it.
Then recently in a long running PFS Scenario run with Bitty and Corabee we were needing to wait about a week for one of the other players to have a different character finish the scenario that they were in so that they could swap characters. So we improvised a downtime scene of Macondi, Bitty, Sam (Tiger's character - who is a fan of the story series), and a few others all meeting and hashing out grievances.
GM Tiger |
actually I also used it as part of Sam's (one of my other PCs) backstory since her background is "Academy Dropout" -- what better way to drop out of 'school' by getting addicted on adventure stories :)

apologies for the silence. last week was a crazy week and Arn and I had a martial arts belt exam Saturday night. I am now a Lvl 3 monk and Arn is a lvl 2 Fighter... :)
Felinzi |
Bah. Ninja'd.
And I have literally nothing else to do. Nothing that I have is going to work on this statue.
So yeah. If Palomia has something else to spend three actions and a scroll on...
If not, I will probably save the spell slot for later. But I still don't have anything else to spend two actions on.
GM Tiger |
quite honestly, hard to believe they have a construct with hardness as a lvl 1 opponent... the AC's also pretty high for low tier...
GM Tiger |
btw, do you want to do Swordlord or the new Q16? It's pretty cute...
Felinzi |
Either is fine with me. I have done Swordlord's Challenge once before - as a swordfighter. Running through it as a mage in a group primarily of mages would be quite different.
GM Tiger |
If you want your downtimes included in your chronicles, go ahead and roll them now. We're pretty much done. This one's really a short quest -- the combat with the statue was brutal... We can move on to 01-12 afterwards. :)

PFS Lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
meh... :)
Felinzi |
Lore (cult): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Felinzi asks around to find anyone interested in hearing about the cults and tribes in the Mwangi Expanse. Considering that they are currently in Osirion, he doesn't have much luck.
Auntie Kikiru |
Crafting Specialty Woodworking T: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 1 = 16 circumstance bonus
Once back in town, Auntie finds a place doing furniture repair. She is able to get a few extra coins from the work.

Scribing Lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
In her free time Palomia does some work for various peoples as a scrivener, having found that her knack for languages to be especially useful for such things.
Arn Neyes |
Performance: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
He goes back to the acting school and teaches another stage combat class. Not only does no one get hurt, it actually turns out pretty well for him!

Hate to see you go, but I definitely understand! Take care and I'll see you around at other tables/on the forums :)
