Hello! Welcome to my table. Before we start, please do the following:
Please complete the macros linked at the top of the page. This will be used for initiative and secret rolls.
Please also post your token to the slides and post your position in the marching order. The slides are also linked at the top of the page.
As per the Organized Play Foundation Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). In keeping with the “Explore, Report, Cooperate” motto of the Pathfinder Society, engaging in non-consensual character-versus-character conflict is prohibited. While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.

Hello Ladile! Good to see you again!
I will be bringing Dr. Croaker, my grippli wind and water kineticist. He comes from deep within the sodden lands, and is a fairly effective healer, with battle medicine and risky surgery for emergencies and Ocean's Balm for all other healing.
He is not the best skills person, but he has fun elemental blasts, healing, and the ability to whisper on the wind - a supercharged version of the message spell that lets me whisper to anyone in the party by speaking their name.
Everyone will be starting this adventure with 2 Hero Points between me, Bret and Ladile.

Hellooooo~
As I mentioned to our lovely GM, I have several character options I can bring ranging from 1st to 3rd so I may wait to see what others are bringing before I decide :)
Fun Fact: I haven't played or GMed this before so I'm looking forward to it!
You've never played this?! wow...

![]() |

I'm thinking a 3-quest set that has all the elements of PF2e...
Q4
Q1 - Sandstone Secret (Exploration)
Q14 - Swordlord (Skill checks and RP)

Lady Ladile |

I also don't have any glyphs to share yet, unfortunately. There was a period of a year or two where, while I didn't quit PbP entirely or anything, my engagement was low and I basically didn't play or GM anything that wasn't con-related or related to a personal invitation from someone. So if you check my PFS tracker stuff, you'll see that there's a lot of scenarios, quests, and bounties that I've not played (or GMed).

![]() |

Head's Up - I'll be traveling from 13-23 November for work/vacation. I'll be checking the forums but please expect delays in updates.

![]() |

btw, the water was calm enough that you didn't really need an Athletics check to swim. But since you all did pretty well, I just let it lie... though if someone crit failed, I would have posted something ... :)
Arn - a crit failure is when you either roll a natural 1 or get a result that's 10+ less than the required DC. Conversely, a crit success is either a natural 20 or a result that 10+ more than the DC. (which is why I asked if you wanted to HP the Athletics check; DC was 20)... :)

It looks like we will be joined by a fifth player on the docks, so we may want to draw out this docks scene a bit more. Breihauptclan is joining our game.

![]() |

The more the merrier! :D
(Up to the accepted table limit of 6, of course...)

![]() |

Greetings all. I realized that I didn't actually introduce myself. Most of you know me already from some other games.
I really can't say that I am new to play-by-post any more. I have been playing for almost two years now. I've only been playing in society games for about 8 months.
I am in American timezone, so about 12 hours offset from GM Tiger and those on that side of the world. It does give us a few hours in our respective mornings and evenings to play together though, so it works out fairly well.
I am generally up for any sort of character interactions - except flirting. None of my characters flirt with anyone. Other than that, I love to discuss things and interact with stuff in the world and learn about the other characters I am adventuring with.

![]() |

Oh, and playing a new character that I threw together. A former cult member looking for a new tribe since he had to leave his previous one. Flames Oracle - so a lot of burning going on. I have some emergency healing if I haven't spent all of my spell slots. Plenty of diplomacy skills too.

![]() |

OK. Request for something that I want to do because I think it is fun - but I also feel that I should get permission from the other players first.
I saw a post about Kobold culture a while ago that I think is adorable. link. tl;dr, Felinzi may start randomly holding hands with the other party members.
If that is going to make any of the players uncomfortable, I have no problems with not doing that.

![]() |

Really? That's adorable and kind of hilarious, in my opinion! That said, I appreciate you asking permission. Speaking purely for myself, I'm fine with it; Palo is going to think it's weird and probably be a bit blunt about saying so. I've got other characters, however, who would enjoy it in a strictly platonic sense if they were here :)

Well, it is fan-made as far as I can tell - rather than official description of the ancestry. But I like it.

Cool. I am fine with character drama. I just don't want to start player drama.

![]() |

Is there no mercy.
They are called Hero Points. Chowing when to use them can be tricky, and they don’t always work.
It is almost always worth it on a critical failure. On other rolls it depends on how lucky you feel.

![]() |

I'll save them for the combat! for now, Arn will just have to be bad at everything :,,,,)

![]() |

The law of averages should catch up... or we can choose to sacrifice a player to the dice gods ;)

![]() |

I have a campaign coin and a vested interest in us succeeding in these challenges, so please, if you don't want to use your hero points, use my campaign coin as a floating hero point and erase a failure.

![]() |

what's with all the Nat 20's?! :)
"Eh. It's my kind of bar."
More seriously, I have no idea! I'll likely pay for these once combat hits.

![]() |

I'll try to move you into the last encounter later tonight if I get some time. I'm about to leave for the airport...
If you'd like your downtimes part of your chronicles go ahead and roll them now.

![]() |

Arn - so for downtime it's usually lore but if you're at least trained in crafting or performance you can use those. There are a few special cases but that's the mainstream. The one I know is if you have the Bargain Hunter feat you can use Diplomacy for downtime.

![]() |

Lore (cult): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
"You're in a cult. Call your dad."
Felinzi gives some seminars in support groups for people leaving cults or other similar groups.
No, you don't really have to justify how your lore skill works. It is just fun to try.

![]() |

Lore (Underworld): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
It being Dr. Croaker's sort of bar, he collects contacts among the pirates to profit from a smuggling ring perfectly legitimate shipping investment.

![]() |

Performance: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Arn schools some aspiring actors in stage combat and only ends his shift with one bloody nose among the students. That's an improvement from last week!

![]() |

Scribing Lore: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
In her spare time, Palo puts her language skills to use translating and scribing various documents!

![]() |

Mercantile Lore, Field Commissioned: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Sigh... Arn just transferred his luck to me...

![]() |

Anyone with Treat Condition? ;)
I'm playing catchup right now. Had a hiccup with my trip getting postponed (at the last minute) and spending most of last night cleaning up the mess from aborting at the last second...

![]() |

Since it is a level 4 feat from an archetype, I'm guessing you mean IRL.
It sounds like we could use Treat Condition and Remove Disease.

![]() |

The two actions to pacify a section of the bar - does that have to be done together during the same turn? Or is it two successful actions at some point?

![]() |

Yep. We need to use those to cure Hmm.
Yes - to attempt to pacify a bar section, is a 2-action task. You really don't want the bar unpacified -- it takes at turn at the end of the round. If you've never played this, you're in for a shock (I actually got a TPK with Pub Crawl because of this)...

![]() |

You can only pacify sections you are in. So move, pacify, move, pacify is what all my charismatic type characters up to this point have done.

![]() |

I *think* I got the action economy for Act Together correct (first time playing a 2e summoner) but please let me know if I did not. I also had someone talking at me literally the entire time I was trying to compose that post which didn't help my concentration any :|

![]() |

Looks good to me. I have a Summoner character that I created, but haven't actually gotten to play (non-PFS though). Still waiting on the GM to have time/energy/mental energy to start.

Last time I played this my monk was a moving pacifying machine... :)

Hope you know that I would buy a t-shirt with Felinzi on it

Chronicles can also be found here.
You can make changes to your character if you need to if you're lvl 1 or swap out the character. I'll post the intro to Q1 but take your time with posting.

Am I correct in believing that we gained the Fane’s Friend boon and should cross out the other one?
I’m going to need a little time as we are starting the next quest after the Nov 15th errata drop. I don’t think I will use the Remaster Rebuild yet, but there are still things that must be reviewed including all the cantrips.

![]() |

I have Produce Flame given by Oracle Mystery. I don't see anything in the APG Compatibility Errata changing that - only for Psychics from Dark Archive... There is errata in the CRB for Produce Flame though.
So, use the new version of Produce Flame, yes?

Yes. Sorry, I forgot Pub Crawl gives two boons...

So Arn, have you been having a good time? And will you be rejoining us to kick butt in Osirion? And do you have any questions so far?
