AH CRUD MY BAD!
It’s supposed to be 2PP. I reused a template I had filled out from when I ran this Standard. I’ll update them.

FYI, for all GMs moving forward - Seasons 0-4 had the second prestige point tied to faction missions.
When they did away with those, Paizo published a document detailing 'secondary success conditions' for every scenario in those seasons.

I need dayjobs from Cortina and Paloma and information on the slides from Nal.
Updated all the chronicles and got the remaining three. I had to dig for a while to find Nal's information from a previous game.
Let me know if there are any further issues. I am getting the game reported as well.

We could play it in the context of OUTPOST... maybe one or some of us roll well for a boon...
Ryul Dathana

I’m good with now. Three weeks of play now is better than a shot at a boon imo. But either way is cool.

Either way is fine.
Speaking of Outpost, there are only two players signed up for the T3-4 Core table for the 1e special. If you're interested, please sign up. (I'm the House GM and I've already played it in Core, or I'd join the table myself.)

I signed up for that one, would be nice to get a couple more. It’s tier 3-4 but since there are no adjacent tiers I *think* you could bring a PC higher or lower. Though a lvl four pregen would also work well.
I have collected three Core PC’s in that range too, trying to get one of them up to five.
Cashel O'Brien

As long as you are in an adjacent sub-tier, you can still play in the scenario. For the Special, you will also earn gold appropriate to the level you are, rather than the Tier you play in.
(So, despite it being Tier 3-4, a level 6 would earn 5-6 rewards, and a level 2 would earn 1-2 rewards. Note, this *only* holds true for Specials - in normal scenarios, you earn the gold of whatever Tier you actually play.)
There are also plenty of seats available in the other two CORE scenarios being offered for Outpost, as well!
Cortina Hagen

I'm also good with starting now.
Regarding the open seats in CORE games of OUTPOST:
I have three CORE characters, but all of them are in games at the moment...

I've only got two - and both are in use

I've copied the first two slides from the last campaign to this one. Could you please make appropriate adjustments please.
And I suppose Jack could play in Outpost although he'd be level 3 on return.
Ryul Dathana

You can’t play the same PC in two concurrent games.
I’ll try to get the slides updated.
| bluedove |
Yes, but as the GM for the current game, his PC is not currently in use ;-)
I feel like I remember being told that you're not meant to apply a GM credit and a player credit to the same PC over a time period that overlaps either. But I could have either been misinformed or misremembering. XD

Anyone heard from Nal?
Nal Pavleth
|
I'm here, sorry foe delay. I'll start playing tomorrow, level up Nal, and have a 90% chance of making another rebuild. I'm sorry, I'm still looking for an image for a halfling character, if it's not a cleric of the very deity I wanted to make )) But it's time to make final decisions, heh.
Ryul Dathana

Yay! Good to hear from you.
phaeton_nz

Well, so far it looks like it's working.
Cortina Hagen

@Cashel: Maybe a Knowledge (religion) check will help? I think if you Take 10 for a result of 19 (with guidance) it should do it.
With only 2 skillpoints/level Cortina is no help with Knowledge checks - with the exception of providing a Bit of Luck, if you want it.
I - the player - cannot remember which sequence is the correct one (played it in Standard years ago), but I think Cashel's suggestion might be correct...
Cortina Hagen
|
Yeah, it's been a week, so let's move on and have Cashel do what he said he'd do.
We can always heal him up again if something goes wrong... ;-)
Paul Montrose

Are you suggesting that I change my actions after I've made the roll and found out the results of the roll? )) The way I see it is this: if GM allows it, then for the next round, Nal, realizing that the work is very long and arrows are whistling overhead, can switch to something else. But right now, he hopes it's an extremely simple trap. A vain hope, yep.
No. What gave you that idea?

Sorry to report but my laptop has crashed. Trying to troubleshoot but my coverage has expired so if I can't fix the problem, it may take some time before I'm up and running again. I will keep you posted.
Are skeletons still up and attacking us?

Yes they are.

FYI, I (the player) am slightly also concerned about Janks getting away. But Ryul doesn’t really see a strong enough reason to chase him down right now, so he’s focusing on the skeletons.
Also Ryul doesn’t have any reasonably good ranged attacks yet. Gotta get me a magic missile wand or something.
Cortina Hagen
|
Cortina has no magical means to stop Janks from getting away. She is way better at smashing skeletons with her warhammer... and her aim with her light crossbow isn't very good, either.
Cheeper is by far the fastest member of our party, have them chase Janks (bonus if Janks gets tripped!)

*shrugs*
We were sent here because these people are attempting espionage against Absalom; from Cashel's perspective, trying to limit the freedom of the local populace by selling secrets to Cheliax that could enable the Infernal Empire to invade and subjugate the city does not get a free pass, even if they failed in their attempt to do so :-P
Ryul Dathana

That is a perfectly reasonable conclusion to be following. One could also make the argument that we need to keep our actions secret, so allowing a witness to flee is bad. Alternate PC’s of mine may very well agree with either point, but Ryul does not.
Alternatively Janks also just seems to be a guard or mercenary, not exactly the brains of the operation.
But ultimately, Cheeper is probably the one that really needs to have a decision made about what they do. Since they are maybe the only one that could reasonably catch Janks at this point (other than a maybe another force missile or two).
All that said, Ryul will still cooperate with the team if we all chase after Janks.
Cashel O'Brien
|
Heh. That makes perfect sense. The frustration that Cashel is expressing is his own, not his player's ;-)
That said, even if he is 'just a guard / merc', IRL, if he had been hired by a bunch of terrorists / spies to provide security, he would still be tried for their crimes in a court of law...
Cortina Hagen

Ryul just hits ((Cellena -11))
Wirh or without divine guidance? ;-)
phaeton_nz
|
Probably without unless he included it.
Paul Montrose
|
Yeah, that didn't happen. Typing offhand on my phone is hard enough without recovering from surgery (they put the IV in my dominant arm). But I'll be home tonight and able to use a real computer!

FJC goal questions!
Did any of the following goals get completed this scenario?
1) Defeat a divine spellcaster whose patron is an evil deity and whose CR is at least equal to your character level.
2) Accept the surrender of an enemy combatant (other than an evil outsider or undead creature), and ensure his fair treatment until he can safely be released, ransomed, or delivered to authorities for justice. Alternatively, allow such an enemy combatant with no means of escape to flee without further harm.
3) Defeat an outsider that has the evil subtype or an undead creature whose CR is at least equal to your character level.
Thanks!!!
