Apologies for clogging Game Thread.
Source Player Core pg. 445 2.0
You are taking damage from an ongoing effect, such as from being lit on fire. This appears as “X persistent [type] damage,” where “X” is the amount of damage dealt and “[type]” is the damage type. Like normal damage, it can be doubled or halved based on the results of an attack roll or saving throw. Instead of taking persistent damage immediately, you take it at the end of each of your turns as long as you have the condition, rolling any damage dice anew each time. After you take persistent damage, roll a DC 15 flat check to see if you recover from the persistent damage. If you succeed, the condition ends.
I was playing an Alchemist in SoT (DMing the second half now), and I absolutely enjoy Persistent damage. Always get at least 1 Round of it off, average around 3 so really good.
Unless on receiving end...ha!

Thank you.

I hope everything will be okay. Take your time.

I am posting this in all my Games.
My situation
We had an family emergency that caused us to need to travel down to Florida to visit my mom. She has been since diagnosed with Major Congestive heart failure. She can't breathe on her own.
We are back in Michigan. My Mom is currently resting at ease at a Hospice, comfortable but still expectant to pass. Our hope is she will become able to have Home hospice so she can do it at home.
I appreciate you. I Thank you.
I feel that I really need to lessen my commitment to these games. I will be stepping away from many but I would like to see this game through.

Thank you for letting us know. Take your time when you need it; your family is priority over the games. I'm truly sorry to hear about your mom's condition. Wishing you and your family strength during this difficult time.
