Wait, what? The long hammer doesn’t have shove??? That’s silly. I think it’s, like, the only hammer weapon that doesn’t have it, that’s why I just assumed you forgot that it did. My bad.
EDIT: Huh. There are apparently only three reach weapons with shove, and none are in the hammer group. Weird.
Also, FYI to Kolgradd, Escape’s crit fail effect is that it locks you out of further Escapes for the rest of the round. So, uh…if there’s a non-manipulate, non-attack action you wanna take instead of that third Escape, be my guest.

I do think the mace would be cool, and having weapons made from stuff you killed? Awesome!
However Kolgradd being at -2 with it sort of means he's never going to use it. Unless something has weakness: maces 25 or something, but that seems unlikely.
Haste makes sense to me, the fate of the world is at stake!

You’re getting some things mixed up. The Necronomicon is “just” a book filled with forbidden knowledge. Xhamen-Dor (the Great Old One that Lowls is trying to awaken) has its infection spread through knowledge of its name.

Point of order: Fortuitous Shift lowers the DC of Unexpected Shift's flat check from 16 to 11, meaning Boodiddly's only down 12 hitpoints at this time. Unlikely to become relevant, but still nice to be accurate.
I knew that, I knew about that feat. For some reason I had it in my head that you hadn’t taken Fortuitous Shift, despite the fact you JUST took it at this past level-up.
Mea culpa. This week has been A LOT and I didn't realize that I left y'all waiting for 5 days. I'll get something out later tonight.

I have a local convention that I’ll be attending from 2/27 through to 3/2, so my schedule this weekend will be…pretty booked.

Star Stele?
Don’t mind me, just finally using the proper singular form of “stelae” after nearly 6 years.
Okay, so I'm gonna be kicking this can down the road further, unfortunately, because I do not have the spoons to do a mini-dungeoncrawl right now, so I'm gonna ask two questions:
1) What do y'all plan to do with Havigan?
2) What does the party have at their disposal for dealing with "descending down an unknown distance" besides hoping you have enough rope?
1: Jevar is ready to leave Havigan after the nihilistic tone and mention of spores.
2: ideas -
Jevar can prepare 6 castings of Gentle Landing.
Elemental form spell (air) lasts 1m and gives fly 80ft (can prepare 3 of and get a 4th from arcane bond).
Summon dragon could maybe get us a ride down?
Gentle Landing seems to max out at 600 feet, given it slows descent to 60 feet per round and only lasts 10 rounds.
I think anything that gives a fly speed would be fine as we could drop and Arrest A Fall at the end to avoid the damage, and at 1500 feet per round the duration probably isn't that important.
Fly is rank 4 and lasts for 5 minutes so might be better than Elemental Form for this. Kolgradd has two remaining scrolls but can't learn them himself currently.
Summoning a dragon sounds cool!
Jevar has a scroll of it but can also take a day and prepare it to get four castings.
I'm on board with closing the door. If they burst in at least we'll know this peculiar-door-to-the-ground connection is stable

Whoah massive infodump!
I don't want to raise these questions in character because Kolgradd is very intelligent and I am not, but my understanding is:
Lowls and friends have put the world in grave danger. The only way to stop it is for us to go to Carcosa and turn off their stelae.
To do that we need to learn the rituals from the Necronomicon, activate each of the stelae in this weird city with the one ritual, then use the other ritual to teleport to Carcosa. There we can turn off the ones on that side and save the world.
Is that right? I have futher questions but I can raise those in character if my reading comprehension is sufficient.
That is 99% correct; the thing you missed was “also kill whoever is in charge of the reflection of Thrushmoor on Carcosa”
It’s also a little ambiguous whether the world is immediately in danger, or indirectly in danger due to the potential of the King in Yellow becoming a god. Either way, really bad outcome.

The Star Stellae are clearly the mechanism to making the connection to Carcosa. Have we learned how those objects came to take on this significance? Are they like breadcrumbs implanted into this world by the King in Yellow or Xhamen-Dor?

This is a Lovecraftian campaign; do not expect answers to every question. "Ignorance is bliss," after all. Lowls made no mention of the "how" of the Star Stelae in his notes, merely the "what."
That said, I have a writeup to tell "The Whole Story" of the AP that I've had written for the past 5 years (which I wrote before I ran Tyrant's Grasp and got heavy burnout from doing those writeups), and will share it with y'all at the campaign's conclusion.
(And for the record, a bunch of excerpts from the "Lowls's Journals" spoiler were lifted directly from that Whole Story writeup of mine.)
