^Looting and pillaging is work enough for the likes of Ting and Rogarch. Poor Goran has Cleric skill points and from what I can see he does not have a day job either.
What a bunch of bums. ;)
Thanks GM Jheaman for putting up with us for the long haul. It has been fun.

Okay, Chronicles are here! Any issues, just let me know and I'll fix them up. Sincere thanks for a great game. I'm looking forward to seeing these characters somewhere down the line! (and I'll be prepping some more PF1 in April)

Agreed it was a fun ride. I hope to see you all again in game. Thanks for running GM Jhaeman. :)
I am looking forward to the game(s) you might be offering in April.
Have a great vacation. :)

Son of a gun, a unique poison! Where was that supposed to have shown up?
Rogarch |
^Maybe against the lizard man that we fought? The leader did use poison against us.
The wand of False Life is a nice pick up for 2 PP. :)

It is a good investment, I agree - but wait, you can use Prestige to buy things that specifically show up on Chronicles? I never really realized that (that said, I think I'd prefer to max out my expenditures of Prestige on something that costs the full 750).
Speaking of which, I'm thinking of purchasing some adamantine bolts - but what I'm a tad confused by is, would it be 60 gp per bolt, or 61 gp for 10?

Thing is, look at alchemical silver just below - or perhaps more tellingly, further down under cold iron:
Weapons made of cold iron cost twice as much to make as their normal counterparts.
Given that, since normal arrows go at 1 gp/20, a single arrow costs less than 1 copper piece, this would imply that a single cold iron arrow would...still be free?
One could even attempt the absurdity of saying "if a single cold iron arrow is free, 0 X 20 = 0 ∴ ∞ cold iron arrows = 0".
OTOH, this could all be entirely avoided if it applied to the established lots (20 for arrows, 10 for bolts and sling-bullets); to date, other characters have purchased cold iron arrows in lots of 20 for 2 gp, and 20 silver arrows for 3.
Given how they're all lined up and spoken of the same in the above link, it would be a little odd if that pattern were broken for adamantine.
Am I missing something?

The cost of a case of 10 admantine bolts would be 601 gold. 1 gold for the base cost of the bolts and 600 gold (60 X 10) for the cost of the special material.
The general rule is that you need to buy ammunition in the appropriate lot size and not individually. So a case of ten bolts for example. Now there are exceptions to this general rule. You can always purchase individual pieces of ammunition if they appear as treasure earned on one of your chronicle sheets or if you own a copy of the Alchemy Manual then you can purchase durable ammunition at a cost of 1 gold per piece of ammunition (plus any additional costs for special materials).
There might be other ways around the general rule but those are the two exceptions that I can think of.

Something to keep in mind more generally is that ranged weapon combat really requires more specialised training than melee weapon combat. To be effective you will need the Precise Shot feat and a way to bypass the soft cover provided by friend and foe in the thick of combat. Otherwise your character will be facing a net -8 penalty to their attack roll in most combats. Now there are times where neither of those penalties apply (generally at range and at the beginning of the combat) so having a ranged weapon is fine and good. It is just that most characters cannot use them effectively during most combat rounds. :)
There is a big difference between doing something in combat as opposed to doing something effective in combat. You only have so many combat rounds per game so you might as well make them count.
