ok ok! Stitch gets a hero point! :)
Bella gets the other one.
I love this group!

...though Roark might have a problem with GM Chadius after being referred as a chicken! :)
Chicken! :)

Chadius -- you had me giggling in bed after I read the comment in 02-23...

I’m back and will gradually start posting to the games I’m playing and GMing over the next 24 hours.
GM Tiger |
Clover sustained a mild concussion and is being driven to the Emergency Department. She'll be offline for a few days while she recovers.
Bella Sidare |
I hope she recovers soon.

Actually, I'd like to know how Meat Wagon is getting up the side of a mountain! :)
Crane?
Doesn’t seem to be a way to summon one of those. Oh well!
Honestly, the rope of climbing and some people pulling should do it.

Just a quick heads-up: A super typhoon is headed toward our location. Electricity and internet might go out, and there’s a risk of flooding, which could delay my updates and participation in the games I’m running and playing. I’ll check in when I can—thanks for your understanding!
Clover Nettlesoup |
Oh my goodness. Stay safe Nicole and Froggy!
GM Tiger |
Stitch appears to be the tiebreaker...
Help the dragon: 2
Not help the dragon: 1
Abstain: 1
The last fight is hard, but winnable. Both my previous groups chose to help and they won handily.

I am back and will slowly be updating the games. Thanks to everyone! Thankfully, we were not severely hit by the super typhoon, and my family and I are safe. Unfortunately, other places are devastated, and hopefully, it will leave our country soon. This latest typhoon is the fourth one in the last two weeks to hit our country, which is crazy.
Stitch Steeltoe |
Yikes! Glad you and the family are in good shape Nicole. Hopefully others will soon too.
As far as the choice, as I said before, Stitch leans towards accepting the dragon's wisdom and handing the forest's protection over to the society. To be fair, Stitch definitely leans towards the side of Neutral and values his life. Not to mention offering up a whole forest to the Society sounds like a pretty good get.

So there are six players. With me abstaining we shouldn’t get a tie.

True but now it means we need to let the dice god decide...
Odd is Help: 1d100 ⇒ 1
GM Tiger |
The dice god (proxy for Fran) has spoken. I'll bot Fran though I hope she's ok.
GM Tiger |
We can assume Jadirhax is ok -- she's part of the image background so it's a bit hard to move her out of the way! :)

I am in full blown improv mode!

Looks like we've got some trouble here now. I'll wait to see what/where Clover ends up before I have Stitch and MW act. Luckily MW's ranged attack is bludgeoning.
A quick question to the GM: Redirecting ritual energy:
It says damages all creatures on a crit.. is that ALL creatures, or all BAD GUYS? With Stitch's enhanced action economy I can put two actions into the ritual and push the other action into two for MW's attacks. I just want to know if I'm risking the party first.

All bad creatures. :)

Well that was an unpleasant turn for Bella... How do we want to handle this? I can use my free battle medicine on her if needed but wanted to coordinate first since BM doesn't heal a ton vs Vardarel's reach heals.
I also know Clover and Nicky have healing options as well.
Thoughts?
Those rot monsters hit like trucks!
Vardarel |
Wish I had an idea how close some of the monsters were to going down. We definately need to concentrate fire more.
I missed it, how did we cause the original (white rot) to be slowed?
The original (white) rot monster is hopefully going down with another hit from Nicole. Might be able to do it on a splash.
Blue is called an ooze. Last attacks should probably go into it since it should have a relatively low AC. Unfortunately arrows do nothing to it.
I think it is probably best for Vardarel to try to bring Bella up. Someone has to since she is bleeding.
Another thing to consider is never end your turn next to a rot monster. It getting two or three attacks against a single opponent is deadly.
GM Tiger |
White rot - fire. Clover's fireballs are doing a number on the rot monsters. Next time Fran's turn rolls around I'll send a life boost to Bella...
Don't forget the redirect spell energy -- just don't crit fail! :)
THIS POST gives the fire 'weakness'.
Vardarel |
Clover is out of fireballs and none of them dropped.
Stitch Steeltoe |
Alright, I'll wait for Nicole to go and hope her fire takes out the heavily damaged rot monster before I focus on one of the remaining monsters (or the original rot monster if its still up).
I'd think about using fire explosion with Meat Wagon but too many allies nearby.
Bella Sidare |
Bella can certainly try to redirect spell energy. Nature +9. With the beating I just got we should focus on burning to slow them down.
...and I do have 3 Hero Points.
Nicole Flames |
I have Nature +0 and Religion +0 so I will not attempt to redirect energy.

So I have to share this. I just got Divine Mysteries, and discovered that I have to immediately retire a character. But... I'm retiring her for all the best reasons.
Teki Stronggut has ascended to being a goblin Hero God! I wrote her up originally for the Starstone Hopefuls article in Agents of Edgewatch. Then I liked her so much that I asked Ron Lundeen if I could make her into a PFS character. He agreed with the proviso, "In the unlikely circumstance that Paizo ever elevates her to godhood, you'll need to retire the character."
So let's celebrate the ascension of Teki Stronggut!
Bella Sidare |
Teki found the path to godhood. Congratulations, she won the game.
Hilary Moon Murphy Contributor |
Honestly, I still can't believe it happened. When I wrote the Starstone Hopefuls article, I was told that it was beyond unlikely that Paizo would make any of the hopefuls into a god. But then people who I never met kept asking Luis for a good goblin god, and they kept mentioning Teki in the PaizoCon AMA thread that Luis ran. She was my absolute favorite of my writeups - which was the reason I wanted to play her as a character - but I never expected she would ever actually ascend.
