Combat tracker has Meat Wagon's info incorrect: Should be AC: 16 HP: 18.
A question: Do we need to add in the nonlethal attack penalty, like Finn did, or does the arena's 'magic' do it automatically? Just want to make sure everyone is on the same page.

I read it vertically... I'll fix it tomorrow...

the arena's magic will make your lethal attacks nonlethal. Same thing if you hit Dying 4. you just wake up in the hospital (probably with a splitting headache)

Since I'll need to start prepping my scenario soon, it's time to figure out what I should run! I could always do one of the Season 1 repeatables (Lost on the Spirit Road, Tarnbreaker's Trail, Lions of Katapesh) or I could GM #3-01 Year of Shattered Sanctuaries (actually just finished playing this in a different group) or we could do Second Confirmation.
Or I suppose I could also run a 4-bounty series. Derp, we hit 2nd level after this so not an option!
Any preferences?

My vote would be: either 2nd confirmation or 3.01.
Lions of Katapesh as third since I've only played that one once.
Are there 4 bounties for level 2?

I think I've never played 2nd Confirmation. I did play 3-01 but I was in a 3-4 tier.

Had a lousy Thursday-Friday last week. Stepped away over the weekend to recharge...

Roark just tried to sing... and got 2 consecutive nat 1's... someone must be trying to tell me something...

I'll remove your third strike (it didn't hit anyway)

I'll be away on vacation from tomorrow for about a week and won't be able to post. Feel free to bot Finn. Generally he will try to make knowledge checks at the start of a battle and then attack, hoping for a sneak attack.
Hopefully I don't come back to needing to make Finn 3.0. :)

Have fun, Finn!
Hopefully all of my attempts to use the finisher will be critical hits!

Work's kept me busy and now I'm out here in Seattle for the convention. I've got my Chromebook with me but no guarantees for consistent posting from me until I get home next Tuesday/Wednesday!

Have fun at Paizocon!!
btw, while you can reach Dying 4, you'll just wake up in the infirmary.
Send pics if you can... :)

It's been fun! I've gotten to meet some of the other forum folks like Hmm, BretI, Nomadical, Dennis Muldoon and Wei Ji the Learner and sort of meet-in-passing some of the (past and present) Paizo folks like Alex Speidel, Linda Zayas-Palmer, and Mark Seifter. Getting to meet people has honestly been the main highlight but the games I've played in were all fun and I also had some time to venture out into Seattle and hit a few tourist spots as well.
Still here until Tuesday evening but it's definitely been worth it and I'd like to attend again in the future :)

btw, how do you like the Chromebook vs a conventional laptop? Other than the price...

![]() |

My Chromebook is good for doing stuff like PbPing, general internet surfing, or watching things on YouTube (or Twitch). It's also lighter and smaller than most laptops, which is good for transportation purposes.
If you want to play actual computer games, absolutely stick to a gaming laptop or a proper desktop computer. I imagine this would also apply to other programs that take a fair amount of processing power. For example, I don't know how well a Chromebook would do trying to run any of the VTT programs.

I can't imagine it would -- since it's really a big tablet (which I found out the hard way one time)...

Posting from the airport lounge, waiting to fly home from my trip. PaizoCon was lots of fun, even in a reduced capacity! I'm hoping to get to go back next year.
Once I get home my posting should more or less return to normal. That said, I *also* get to come home and pretty much go right back to work so I may be a bit slow for a few days if things are busy at work.

Thanks for the save, Bella. I completely forgot to describe the portals and asking you all to pick one...

first time I've had anyone steal the amulet... most people just take the deal and get yelled at by Shaine afterwards... :)

Yoink! No pal of mine is going to lose her soul.

It's just Finn who needs to climb to the top. How tall is Meat Wagon?

![]() |

For ease of everything I imagine it to be a 5'x 10' unit with 5' of height. Keeping with the large size but being able to get through those pesky 5' hallways and tunnels.

![]() |

the goal was for all of you to stand on top of the platform. there was nothing in the instructions about climbing up to it... you could have bashed the legs out from under it... :)

btw, Fran - I created a rogue with a personality similar to yours. Rogue with Eldritch trickster racket... basically shy and hesitating, but with some steel in her when things get dicey... :)
