Okay! Still working on catching up on things but I'm good with playing #6-05; PbP is largely the only way I play Pathfinder these days, with the occasional game at a con or when I feel like making the drive to play with my old in-person lodge.

As far as which character to bring, uh...I got plenty of options since all my other characters are still in the 1-4 range! That being said, I might still need to rebuild one or more of them to be in line with Remaster stuff. Fran is the only one that I *know* I've updated for Remaster. What's the deadline on those, again? >.>

As for catching up...

Not sure if anyone has heard from Fran lately, but her real life player did have a hurricane tear through her area last week. Could be a while, hoping everything is ok.

I'm really sorry if anyone was worried about me being caught up in the mess that Hurricane Helene made! We got a fair bit of rain here in Kentucky but thankfully this isn't a particularly mountainous area in general so flooding isn't much of a concern, at least not in regards to our home specifically.

We have a pretty serious typhoon here. So if Nicole or I go dark, we've either lost Internet or power (or both)!

Clover sustained a mild concussion and is being driven to the Emergency Department. She'll be offline for a few days while she recovers.

She had a CT scan and there were no signs of problems.

She does need to limit her screen time along with other things for a few days.

So I have to share this. I just got Divine Mysteries, and discovered that I have to immediately retire a character. But... I'm retiring her for all the best reasons.

Teki Stronggut has ascended to being a goblin Hero God! I wrote her up originally for the Starstone Hopefuls article in Agents of Edgewatch. Then I liked her so much that I asked Ron Lundeen if I could make her into a PFS character. He agreed with the proviso, "In the unlikely circumstance that Paizo ever elevates her to godhood, you'll need to retire the character."

So let's celebrate the ascension of Teki Stronggut!

Assuming I still have power (big wind and rain on the way today) when I get home tonight I'll get my pregen in order. They will be level 3 and likely some sort of melee, tanky character unless that's not needed. I could also try rolling with a spellcaster type if that's preferred.

I'm playing a Summoner, so Sal'era can tank while Jiggo runs around healing. Oh, he also has Blazing Armory if you'd prefer a fiery weapon.

Thought about it, but decided I'd go with Soddy for a little more group variety! Don't worry though, I still love my cactus-with-a-gun and look forward to finding more adventures for him to get into soon(ish) ;)

Chip looks like a big fluffy white squirrel with rabbit ears. One of his incisors has a large chip out of it. He is about the size of a house cat or large rabbit.

This was the closest I could find to an appropriate avatar for the character.

Not of immediate use, but it was pointed out to me recently that the Fascinated condition prevents enemies from using actions with the Concentration trait on them against anyone other than the person causing the condition.

Almost all spells, Sustaining a spell, and several other things have the Concentration trait. If you delay until just before a spell caster’s turn, you don’t have to worry about the hostile actions ending it immediately.

Bret, or anyone else: Do you know where they may have coded and remastered pregens? I'm finding some of the old coded ones linked but they aren't remastered.

This group is the best stress-relief ever... Major IT exam in 3 hours or so and reading Massee's post just has me giggling...

Eddie is usually mostly a support role, but I can prep more offensive abilities this go round based on what characters seem to be leaning towards.

Most of Soddy's kit at this time is healing/utility type stuff but she'll definitely prep a few alchemist's fires to try and help share the offensive load :)

Eddie finally made some purchases before we set off:

1. Made their staff of water: striking.
2. Got a coyote cloak.
3. PFS Provision: Scroll of Heal (2nd rank)

Lesser Healing Potion for Bun... and he shies away from Soddy Daisy (weakness fire) :)

Eddie is going to delve into some summon plant/fungus. Hopefully I don't mess it up.

I know Eddie has done Lost on the Spirit Road. Has anyone else?

The above is subject to change as new information is acquired; if it's looking Cloudy with a Chance of Zombies, she'd bring some bottled sunlight, for example. And if caught out by something, I guess that's what the versatile vials are for :)
