Hey Stitch, I hope Kernal Klank has a hero point left to stabilize...

GM Frost |

I assume I am the next one who will be running the United in Purpose scenario. Here is the sign-up sheet for the game while GM Ladile is prepping our chronicles.

GM Ladile |

Alrighty, game is reported and chronicles are --> here. Finn, I went ahead and pulled your info from a previous set of chronicles but please let me know if anything looks incorrect; same goes for everyone else. I'm opting to let folks keep up with their own downtime/earn income stuff.

![]() |

Thank you for the chronicle sheet, GM, it looks great.

![]() |

Chronicle looks good. Thank you so much for running the game!

![]() |

Chronicle looks good. Thanks GM!

![]() |

Thanks for the Chronicle, and apologies for the long delay, my brain seems to have shutdown after the holidays. That said, I will probably take a break for at least the next game so as not to continue to delay anyone's combat actions :)
Nice playing with you folks as always!

![]() |

It is nice to play with you, Finn! And to everyone as well.

GM Frost |

So far, I have these names in the sign-up sheet:
Roark Thunderbird
Stitch Steeltoe
Bella Sidare
Who else will be joining? Here is the sign-up sheet for Pathfinder Intro #2 United in Purpose.

![]() |

Got my character info added to the sign-up sheet! Since Finn is sitting this one out, I think I'm the last one that needed to sign up.

GM Frost |

I see. Alright then. So we have Roark Thunderbird, Stitch Steeltoe, Bella Sidare, and Fran Rosemont. I would like everyone to fill up the Slides (pages 2 and 3) for icons and some character info, and Macros for skill checks so that we can formally start. Also, anyone with GM glyphs for extra hero points is also welcome to share them.
And could anyone help me put these above the thread for easy reference:
Sign-Up Sheet | Slides & Maps | Macros |
Challenge Points: 12 (Low Tier, Level 1-2)
Thank you.

I'm going to the airport right now, so I'll update the header as soon as I'm past the gate.

![]() |

The first second delay was already announced. Whee.
I've updated the campaign information as per GM Frost's request.

![]() |

Macros and slides done.

![]() |

Stitch is updated, got himself an upgraded clan pistol because well.. who doesn't want a shiny new gun?
Also all entered into the macros and slides.
Looking forward to him hitting level 3, lots of goodies there!
Also, a question: Anyone know of any magic items that let me buff my companion's attacks to be magical?

GM Frost |

Thank you for updating the campaign info. Waiting for Fran to fill in the info needed in Slides and Macros linked above. Nevertheless, I will post the intro so that we can start.

![]() |

Roark is also about to hit lvl 3.

![]() |

Fran (& Mister Midnight!) are updated to 2nd level, slides are filled out, macro sheet is filled out. Think we're good to go!
Btw GM, Fran has the Incredible Initiative feat which adds a +2 circumstance bonus to her initiative checks. Wasn't sure how to add that to the macro sheet (or if it's even possible).

![]() |

I bought some stuff between games... Roark now has a +1 Handwraps of Mighty Blows...

Usually it's just "tell the GM" :)

Yes but you've gotta wrap them around your beak.. tightly.

![]() |

Roark glares at Stitch...

![]() |

Roark's at 20.

![]() |

Stitch - that fight in 01-19 is brutal... I'm cheering on Kernal Klank to get us out of the jam...

![]() |

Stitch and Roark make for some excellent comedy... :)

I have a GM glyph. I'll give it to...
1 is Stitch, 2 is Fran, 3 is Roark: 1d3 ⇒ 3
Roark it is. Battledancer privilege.

![]() |

I have 2 glyphs.
1-Bella 2-Fran 3-Stitch: 2d3 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4
Bella and Stitch (much to Roark's dismay) :)

Apologies for not posting during the weekends. I'm still away and am using mobile only. Will post update tomorrow when I get the chance.

![]() |

No worries, GM!

![]() |

@Chadius - too bad your 01-23 filled quickly. I was hoping to play with Eddie and his new cap ;)

![]() |

Yes, it filled very quickly. I was worried everyone would avoid signing up because of Outpost VI. But nope, there's a lot of players and not enough GMs!

![]() |

btw, if you want to use splash damage to burninate these plants, I'm OK with getting hit. As long as I'm not unconscious. I'm at full HP now, so I can take a little punishment.

![]() |

GM, a note about Summoners:
- Summoner and Eidolon share the same HP pool. Bella + Khiari can take 34 damage total.
- If a single attack tries to change our HP, we always take the biggest effect. So the explosion deal 1 damage to Khiari but 2 damage to Bella.
Because of these rule, we take 2 damage from the same health pool and have 32/34 HP remaining.

Oh my, many apologies to everyone! Something kept bothering me and I didn't know why until I re-read the scenario and found out just now that I put an extra yellow musk creeper. It just dawns on me why the enemies in the encounter are much overpowered. I'm so sorry! I will remove 1 Creeper 1, 2 Creeper 2: 1d2 ⇒ 2 and remove the damage they incurred from the last round since that is the only time they give damage.

![]() |

Note to self: get Assurance on either Performance or Acrobatics next level.

That explains how Roark's damage suddenly disappeared. I did the same with another group I was running... Almost ended up with a TPK because the players were getting hammered pretty bad...

Ya I wish I had some alchemist fires.. I will definitely be updating Stitch's arsenal for some bombs asap. Persistent damage vs something that's vulnerable is big time.

![]() |

I've seen an Investigator with an Alchemist dedication work very well. They make a few bombs in the morning, and if they like the Devise a Stratagem roll they will throw a bomb using that roll at the target. It makes resource utilization quite nice.
I did try to throw an alchemist fire at a blob and somehow missed...

You should be able to get some at the Pathfinder camp between missions. They should be able to let you buy some since it's a common item (I think).

![]() |

Ya the investigator devise a stratagem really is nice efficiency for important rolls. I'll need to take a closer look at that. Now that I've started to look closer at multiclassing I've gotten more excited about it.

![]() |

Note to self: get Assurance on either Performance or Acrobatics next level.
Why not get Acrobatic Performer, which allows you to use Acrobatics for Performance checks…

![]() |

I'm thinking about a reliable way to generate panache. If 10 + our Performance or Acrobatics is high enough to beat the enemy DC, why risk rolling?
In this case I'm guessing the thrall's Reflex DC was lower than 15. And the plant's Reflex is even lower. I could automatically get Panache.
Or the save is higher, in which case I spend 1 action to confirm I need to roll.

![]() |

Stitch - who you sending to GM Valen's 04-01 for Outpost? I think I'm next in our RR and I'm running 04-01 as well...
