I'm good with switching to 1-23. Since my rate of play has slowed way down I shouldn't have much issue playing whatever works best for all/most of the group - and if push comes to shove, I've got plenty of AcP for replays.
Roark Thunderbird

1-23 is ok. Roark hasn't played it.
I've never played 02-23 as well.
Repeatables:
I have 04-07 (Most Wondrous Exchange) and 05-08 (Protecting the Firelight) prepped. These are both 5-8 repeatables (Stitch's human played 04-07 with me.)
So I can switch to 04-07 instead of 04-09 if you like since -07 is repeatable. However, 02-18 is a GM Eval scenario I chose and I'd like you all to be part of it (though I know at least 2 of you have played it)... Hilary will be evaluating me for this one...
Clover Nettlesoup
|
I can come in for that eval, GM Tiger. I can also ask my RVC Aerine, for replays for those who have already played it since this is an eval table.
Hmm
Roark Thunderbird

and like Franny, I'm sitting on top of a veritable mountain of AcPs...
Clover Nettlesoup

I will be joining you all for 2-23.

I would prefer we run the 3-6 repeatables before we go into the 5-8 repeatables. There are only so many 5-8 scenarios and we will probably want them once the group reaches 7th level.
So it sounds like we have at least two people in the group who never played 2-23 Agent’s Obligation. That is enough where it might make sense for me to use the replay.

CLOVER!!

Just to throw out the idea, we could do a high tier 05-12 (Mischief in the Maze; 1-4 repeatable) before moving out of the level range. I'd like to play it (running 2 tables right now), for one thing :)
Vardarel
|
I am fine with using a replay or going with Mischief in the Maze.
I will say Mischief is a lot of fun. I have both run and played it, but it is a repeatable.

Don't believe I've played 5-12, but whatever the group decides is fine by me. Not sure if that is helpful or unhelpful.. aka: You pick the restaurant!
| GM Hmm |
I could also run it and save you the money if you would like. I would also want to borrow the slides, though.
Clover Nettlesoup

Then Clover will play!
Roark Thunderbird

actually, ask Frosty (aka Nicole). I'm using his slides!

Here is the Slides for S05-12.
Roark Thunderbird

Hey GM Tiger, can you give me a link to the slides for 5-12? I'll purchase the PDF tonight and we'll run by the seat of my pants.
Only thing that's a bit confusing is the maze chase (you'll see why). Other than that it's pretty straightforward...
Roark Thunderbird
|
oh, and I know there's gonna be hell to pay after roark shoves stitch into the water! :)
Roark Thunderbird
|
since I'm running 2 tables of this (both high tier), I'll let those who haven't played it take the lead.
Roark Thunderbird
|
I just discovered how unprepared Roark is for this... :)
Stitch Steeltoe

I don't remember his initial position, but if Meat Wagon had the movement distance he would have gone into melee with the unicorn, if not then current position is good.

That's either 5 or 7 Successes, depending on the promo vestments. I'll wait for Stitch to finish the Metal Team briefing. If Fran or Clover want to join a team they can choose one and make their rolls.
I believe it to be once per hero point.
Promotional boons, search for the second instance of vestments as the first defines what they are while the second defines what they do.
Vestments: When you use a Hero Point to reroll a check, add a +1 circumstance bonus to the reroll.
Compare it to worn accessory that says once per session.

Was sick all last week with COVID and then this week it's been work stuff and/or wrangling tree removal stuff. So...meh. Big ol' sack of meh.
But all of that is now thankfully (hopefully) done and maybe I can catch up AGAIN and STAY caught up. Off to do that right now~
Roark Thunderbird

wow. I'm just digging myself out of a flu that knocked me sideways for a week...
Starting to catch up now...

Welcome back to the land of the vertical! I couldn't imagine being a sick for a week during the summer, not good.

Unfortunately, it's typhoon (and flu) season here. Part of what happened was me being stupid... got sick early July, recovered, pushed myself again without fully recovering, got sick again...

The paragraph right above it says though, that "A player may not benefit from more than one of these per session, with the exception of the Campaign Coin benefit." -- unless I'm misunderstanding something :)

I believe that statement is saying only one of these:
VestmentsWorn Accessory
Rules Reference
Other Item
Campaign Service Coin
That is why they had the point about the campaign coin, to allow the Vestments and Campaign Coin to both be used.
You can not (as an example) benefit from both Vestments and Worn Accessory like a pin.

ah. ok! So I've actually been doing it wrong this whole time. Somehow I always thought it was once per adventure...

Glad you're feeling better, Roark!
Glad you're likewise feeling better! :)

Sign up for 02-18 (Fanciful March of Urwal). This will be a formal evaluation (I think Hilary mentioned she can get replay boons for those who have played this)...
Roark Thunderbird
|
btw, if we're focusing on repeatables, what do you want to play next (I have a doubleheader) - I have 04-07 (Most Wondrous Exchange) and 05-08 (Protecting the Firelight)... both are 5-8 repeatables.
Vardarel
|
I would rather we do the 3-6 repeatables first so that we have some 5-8 repeatables if the group makes it to 7th level and above.
If it is a choice between the two listed, 4-07 A Most Wondroud Exchange would be my preference.

GenCon will be interfering with my posting schedule for the next week. Feel free to bot if I don’t respond quickly enough.

Signed up for 2-18. I did this scenario already (with you as the GM, no less!) So I used a replay token.
As for the next scenario, I am ambivalent. I don't know much about either scenario.
