EPILOGUE
With the Emissary defeated and any remaining cultists fleeing for the hills, Dustpawn slowly returns to normal. The townspeople who were transformed into strange mutated animalistic forms gradually revert to their normal forms and personalities.
The wreck of the Lirgen’s Glory becomes a new draw to the town as word spreads, and the influx of curious scholars and historians seeking to explore the wreck breathes new life into the town. The surviving crew members--Sonarisa and Captain Zorriah--have amazing tales to tell of what they found in worlds beyond Golarion.
As the Pathfinders assemble their belongings and prepare to set off, a crowd assembles to express their gratitude for the town's salvation. Dalviss Creen, still somewhat rattled from the experience, organises a financial reward for each of you. There is complete sincerity in his eyes as he says, "The people of Dustpawn owe you Pathfinders our very lives. We'll never forget what you've done for us these past days, and I think I speak for all of us when I say you'll always find a home here wherever your journeys take you in the future." Several heads nod.
As the sun sets on another epic tale, only one question remains--what exciting adventures will the Pathfinders set out on next?
Dawa Kookpa |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
K'nai gnaws on one of the bones of the Emissary and considers the flavor nuances that the Deep Beyond provide.
Dawa is relieved that the town has been saved, but surprised to discover that all had not been orchestrated by the great lunar power. He is left scratching his head in puzzlement. Truly, the ways of the moon are even more mysterious than I had realized...
Still, it's not long before he throws himself into a new project: helping the citizens of Dustpawn restore their sense of civic spirit through the arts! He quickly organizes a charity event to help the town rebuild, centered around teaching its leading citizens to tap into their own inner artistry. "So..." he tells the gathered assemblage, clearly eager to learn new performative skills, "have you ever heard of mime?"
Taman Hornraven |
"Glad I could be of service to you!" Taman said to all the citizens.
Izlin Greymantle{Toku Kara Shi} |
Izlin stays away from the crowd as much as possible, allowing others to take the credit. Instead, the magus retires to the inn, purloins the finest vintage he can find, and retires to the roof. When Dawa speaks of a fund raiser, the tiefling merely rolls his eyes.
Xilt Sphinx |
Xilt moves adjacent to his crazed familiar. He has no intention to allow any town person to be injured.

Fortunately the Mephit simply babbles to himself before regaining his senses.
"Well that is that. I was expecting the final battle to last longer but I am glad that it all worked out in the end."
Tzleztor |
Tzleztor looks around slightly embarrassed.
"I am sure that you all have a good explanation for why I just tried to eat my arm? Man, this place is weird!"
Almaas Kargar |
Almaas is very relieved.
"Dalviss, I am glad that you are your true self again! This beast did so much damage that it will take a father's hand to walk the path to healing. I would glad serve as a father!" the dwarf says proudly.
He hopes that the insanity has an end and will support the town as long as it takes to get up on their feet!
"We Pathfinders did it again! Cooperation! That is what bonds us. Thank you for your contributions!"
