The second secret passage appears to be a back entrance. You can follow the hall 50 yards or so before it begins to split into various tunnels heading off in various directions. It is better concealed on the other side and there is another secret door further in - flush with an otherwise unsuspecting wall.

"Yeah, and creatures who can pass through walls don't need doors..." Muri continues relentlessly to will the shadow to show its faceless face from any of the walls leading to nowhere they need to be.

Halfling and hound return to the 'main' thoroughfare, and wait to see what lies behind the third secret door, presuming the most productive way forward is the one that lies in back of the trapped space in the hallway.

For now, I will contend myself with trying to prevent you all from being kilt by traps. That's noble enough, but it is no warm blanket and long tome."

You open the secret door to a prison. Each cell maintains a muffling effect that reduces most sensory input from outside the cell to a muted whisper or a vague visual outline. The walls here also bear thousands of dissonant mathematical inequalities that suppress spellcasting as well as axiomites’ ability to assume an incorporeal form or even dimensional travel.

Two axiomite graveknights stand ready for battle immediately on the other side of the door. Behind them, stands a tall human petitioner with a harpoon (image). His skin is tattooed as are all petitioners. However, names have been tattooed over his original inscriptions. The names of those he has killed no doubt. There must be hundreds...

They appear to be moving quickly (hasted). The harpoon wielder disappears as the door is being opened, though Major Kort can still see him (invisible). They are ready for battle and are not flat footed.
