I'm torn between Eyes of the Eagle (good old +5 to perception, bumping me to +18, which is pretty good but still not close to Magda), Deathwatch Eyes (could be useful), or an Amulet of Natural Armor +1.

+5 perception seems to be the way to go I think. We can't always have Magda checking everything for us.

Hmm. I think I'm leaning to Amulet of Natural Armor +1 and a few potions than. A potion like Expeditious Retreat would be pretty killer on Marcus, turning his movespeed up to rampage more.

Actually I've still got like 500+ gold, the +5 to perception would be pretty killer.

Hi folks, my theory that things would be better in a week was too optimistic. I suspect work is going to keep me from posting for the next couple of months, with late September being the time where I can jump back in. I have a September 21 deadline I'm facing, and there may be spillover / I'll need to recover. I'm really sorry for the trouble.

I'm kind of waffling between a couple choices and am unsure what I want to go with. Right now I think the front runners are the ones below:

Warrior Spirit:
The fighter can forge a spiritual bond with a weapon that belongs to the associated weapon group, allowing him to unlock the weapon’s potential. Each day, he designates one such weapon and gains a number of points of spiritual energy equal to 1 + his weapon training bonus. While wielding this weapon, he can spend 1 point of spiritual energy to grant the weapon an enhancement bonus equal to his weapon training bonus. Enhancement bonuses gained by this advanced weapon training option stack with those of the weapon, to a maximum of +5. The fighter can also imbue the weapon with any one weapon special ability with an equivalent enhancement bonus less than or equal to his maximum bonus by reducing the granted enhancement bonus by the amount of the equivalent enhancement bonus. The item must have an enhancement bonus of at least +1 (from the item itself or from warrior spirit) to gain a weapon special ability. In either case, these bonuses last for 1 minute.

Kind of like a magus or paladin bond where I can enhance my weapon magically. Potentially good for bursts of power. Might be thematic with the other fallen Marcus or some kind of kuthanite tie in.

Item Mastery (Flight Mastery):
The fighter gains an item mastery feat as a bonus feat, which functions with any magic weapon he wields, even if the magic weapon does not meet the feat’s normal requirements. He must meet all of the feat’s prerequisites.

You can cause an item that has a transmutation spell of 2nd level or higher listed in its construction requirements to cast fly. If the item is a suit of armor you are wearing, you can use the item’s enhancement bonus in place of your Dexterity modifier on Fly skill checks while the spell lasts.

You can use this feat once per day, plus an additional time per day at base Fortitude save bonus +9 and +12.

Will have to move some skill points, but gives me flight 1/day (and more at higher levels), and as we've learned mobility is huge for Marcus. Not sure how I'd flavor it.

Yes, you’d be able to do whichever awt you want on the fly as a move action basically.

If you get the gloves of weapon training it goes up by two per day as well.

Trump Card--a complicated ability I will probably pretend doesn't exist.

Trump Card:
Trump Card (Su): At 9th level, a Harrowed Society student can expend 1 point from her arcane reservoir and draw a card from her harrow deck as a standard action to learn her own fate or that of an ally within 30 feet. The target’s fate depends on the suit of the card drawn from the deck.

Books: The target gains a +2 insight bonus on her next caster level check.
Crowns: The target gains a +2 insight bonus on her next saving throw.
Hammers: The target gains a +4 insight bonus on the damage roll of her next successful melee attack.
Keys: The target gains a +4 insight bonus on her next initiative check.
Shields: The next time the target receives magical healing, she regains an additional number of hit points equal to the Harrowed Society student’s arcanist class level.
Stars: The target gains a +4 insight bonus on her next skill check.

A creature cannot have more than one trump card in effect at one time; drawing a new trump card for a target negates the effect of the previous trump card. A Harrow Society student can attempt to read the fate of an enemy within 30 feet, resulting in a penalty for that target equal to the bonus granted above, but the target is entitled to a Will save (DC = 10 + 1/2 the Harrowed Society student’s arcanist level + her Charisma modifier) to negate the effect. This is considered a curse effect. A Harrow Society student can have trump cards in effect for multiple creatures at the same time. This ability replaces the 9th-level arcanist exploit.
