The GM and I have hashed out all of the recent loot, and the excel sheet is now up to date. Please mark and mention anything from the loot that you would like to keep, that way we can liquidate the rest and get paid.

The buy half if the most prevalent I've seen, so I like that. Consumables like potions though I think could be left out of that like the cure moderate wounds you want to keep. Things like rings of protection and cloaks of resistance, defaults could be offered to be sold at half price to others when/if you upgrade in the future.

I am assuming that Yazi will count for loot splitting, and that Erasmo will not, based on the former's involvement and latter's lack of involvement in gathering the relevant loot. That means it will be a 4 way split between: Marcus, Magda, Yaziyah, and Vera.

That means the four of us each get: 5225.5 gp

Alternatively we could split it 5 ways and give a share to "party loot", which would make the split: 4180.4 gp

Which we can also use to buy from the current loot sheet at 1/2 price.

For Marcus, the biggest question on the loot split is "who gets the ring of protection?" Obviously it's a good item for most people, and Marcus tends to take a lot of lumps, but he already has the highest AC and perhaps somebody else would like to bump their AC instead.

I agree with party share, but could we start that next loot period? Since we are moving from 4 to 5 and we'll be using some capital for downtime activities. Magda will take the haversack from her own share so we wouldn't lose it. (She loves it). Magda will also keep her commendation.

Is it just the reward for Trina and the commendations that Yazi wouldn't get? If so that would be 3200 taken out of the 20902 so 4,425.5 for each. Plus an addition 1,066 for Vera, Madga, and Marcus.

But we are over already and you are raising our halfling maybe we should just divide by 4 on the last full haul to make sure Yazi doesn't fall behind either?

@Yazi - all of this was gathered after your arrival, so no worries.

I'm also fine with delaying the party share, was just an option I wanted to put on the table.

@Yazi - So I think the two main contenders for that ring are us, since we are the most frontline of the party. Since you're the caster of shield of faith, what do you think would be a more efficient use of the ring? I am fine either way.

I suppose I could make an argument that as a custom item it takes time to make/order anyways, which is usually the case of you miss the percentage roll anyways. That's how I remembered the percentage anyways, that the town/city had enough economy to procure it, they just didn't have it in stock at that moment.

I double-checked everything on the form, and as an update, barring having "claimed" something, everyone gets 5,569.38 if there is no party split. To move along, I'm going to assume there isn't one. Check the bottom-right part of the loot sheet to confirm how much cash you actually get after everything is liquidated and you've claimed what you want.

As noted, with Zellara's help, you actually get everything ID'd the same day.

Still looking for a last bit of chatting/follow up to close out the chapter, and then we'll move on to our downtime posts.

I've chatted with each player individually, for a little while, about what they want to do after we close out with Kroft, and end the book. As I said, the downtime is about a year long (11 months, to be exact).

So during that time, everyone should do at least the following:

a) post a roleplaying-style narrative summary with an example vignette of their activities. If you're going in full-bore with downtime rules, you may need to roll with me to determine events, etc, which should be reflected in the narrative post (you don't need to post any mechanics). If you're just painting a narrative picture without hoping to get money out of it, I'm allowing a lot of freedom in your personal narratives, go wild! Create NPCs if you want, as long as they're not gary stus that will just throw piles of money at you. :)

b) explain in-and-out of character how you and your companions have kept in touch. It doesn't have to be extended banter or roleplaying, but by the end of it, even the newish players should have PCs that feel at least somewhat connected to the others.

Gonna close out the conversation, if Marcus wants to add anything, he can do so with an Earlier tag. Please start planning your vignettes etc. Since we've already spent a few weeks working on things, I think my original plan of 1 month of real time is unrealistic, so we're only having a downtime/RP break of about two weeks at most.
