After picking up the dust, Pnin goes to inspect the doors on the right.

Another trapped door.

Gonna use Inspired Trait here:

Benefit: Once per day as a free action, roll twice and take the better result on a skill check or ability check.

Pnin fumbles as he tries to disarm the trap and four bolts of electricity arc out from the door towards each of the party members.

Not trying to whinge . . . but how does the Inspired trait work. Not sure I would've used it if I thought the trap would still be triggered . . . oh wait was it triggered by the second roll????

Reflex: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22 + Evasion = No Damage: -8/45 HP

Assuming I still need to disable the door:

DisableDevice: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37

Of course . . . a 1 and a 20 on the same lock/trap

Both your rolls failed, if the second had succeeded you would not have triggered the trap.

You disable the trap this round.

Pnin can make it down without a rope its about as steep as a set of stairs would be only there are no stairs. After about 60' it mostly levels to a slight downward grade. The rough passage widens from about 10' to 20' wide. It continues on.

Kael:
You’re pretty certain the door Pnin is about to open leads into the pit with all the undead that you passed over on the rope bridge.

Kael motions at Pnin-Hold on a second there Pnin. I'm certainly no engineer or architect, but I think that door leads to the pit of undead we passed over earlier. Unless San is still feeling particularly spunky, we should just leave it alone for now. Maybe we can come back and clear it out. Like I said, I don't care to leave enemies behind, especially those that might be a future menace to other less well equipped and prepared individuals.

In the meantime, I guess we can finish seeing where the other tunnel gets us.

Lead on Pnin!

Lightheartedly, almost kvetching: Pnin wait, open this door instead . . . Pnin wait, don't open this door . . . I mean I buy your logic well enough. I just find your advice humorous at times.

Kael thinks about it for a moment-I hear your jest, but you are right. The duty of being first to the door is a heavy one and filled with myriad dangers. I honor your willingness to take the risk and will be more mindful of that burden in the future.

Unless I think you should open a different door first.-Kael chuckles at his small joke.

He simply shakes his head in frustration at Sanrael's antagonism.

After about another 60' the passage is blocked by what appear to be spider webs.

AC 22; HP 65; init +3; Perception + 10

Are there any doors or passageways that we have missed, or is this the only way forward?

Assuming there is no other way but through the webs:

Kael looks at Pnin-Spiders, not your favorite I know. Give me a moment.

He then steps forward a few paces, clearly showing the torch and oil, and calls out to the creatures in the webs-I see you skulking in there, creatures. If you can understand me then know this-I have no reason to kill you and destroy your nest, but if you do not let us pass through unmolested I will have no choice but to destroy you and all you hold dear.

What do you decide?

The knowledge check didn't get anything? Weaknesses? sigh

I say we try to light them up. Of course, we might have to deal with flaming spiders attacking us . . . Pnin shakes his head at the notion

Sanrael sees the spider eyes too. Pnin doesn't know anything new about spiders. The spiders seem unaffected by Kael's speech. You have not explored the pit room with the undead, its possible there is some other door or passage in there. You are not aware of any other unexplored doors or passages.
