The room is approximately 25' wide and 40' long, it appears to be a meeting hall. There is a large wooden table and a dozen chairs. The table has a thin layer of fine dust on it. Curral spots a small object under one of the chairs on the far side of the table. There are no other exits.

The detect magic was for the previous room smartass. Magic auras can also be masked.

Just wanted to say that I love the image of the three of us sneaking in followed by a walking, full-plate-armored tank just waltzing in after.


The party enters the statue filled room. As Pnin creeps along, a ghostly figure glides silently forth from a statue and assaults him, its spectral arm passing through his flesh causing puss filled wounds to erupt on his skin.

Curral comes out of stealth mode to cast a spell. Sanrael's surprise causes him to swing a bit wildly and miss. Pnin manages to hit the thing with one arrow but it does considerably less damage due to the creature's incorporeal state. Kael gets off a successful attack and his blade connects just as if the creature were solid.

The creature continues to claw at Pnin hoping to suck the life from him.

Darkvision, I missed that the Angelic Bond from Kael's previous post gave a +3 resistance. So Pnin would have saved and his HP should be at -18/42. However, in keeping with the spirit of the game, I'm happy to accept my mistakes and keep -33/42. Let me know.

Pnin takes a beat to think about how the party could hurt this ghost.
