I was considering a little retraining. How do you feel about retraining in general Thron, and would there be time for it to happen at this stage in the game?
What all do you have in mind?

Actually, on further investigation, I think there's no need. Level up coming shortly.

The only option (for Good aligned characters) seems to be "Finish off the Kreegs and retrieve Lamatar's body. You have two days." Otherwise, we're dealing with an insane ghost who plans to murder dozens of innocent people.

Up and lurking if anyone else is at this hour.
Rilee, here's a hoping for 1d3+1 tigers this round.
Lurking if anyone is about.
Eugeni: I marked your arrow tally in the blue circle on your token. FYI.

4 so far...I'm keeping track. I have 20 durable, plus honestly I still had a ton left over from the Black Arrows when we assaulted the keep, but I stopped keeping track of them after that fight.

Can someone who is trained try to spellcraft whatever Lucretia cast? Her disappearing could be a variety of very bad things for us, and it would be good to know which.
Rilee, with the Tentacles cleared and the zombies dead, the path should be clear for a bunch of tiger pounces.

While I am in bird shape for the monent, I did NOT turn into a chicken!
More like a sparrowhawk or peregrine falcon.

Do you the 5-ft. mini ridges in the cavern count as difficult terrain or do they need a Climb/Jump check?

Morythine Ettes wrote: Do you the 5-ft. mini ridges in the cavern count as difficult terrain or do they need a Climb/Jump check? Just in case Thron wants to update whilst Egypt is asleep, Morythine's plan is either:
1) Move across to where Zoli is, burn a ki point to leap or double move up the ledge and retrieve his serpentine owl. PREFERRED OPTION.
2) Or if the above isn't possible in 1 round, position himself to get a shot at the advancing ogre with a poisoned crossbow bolt and use ki to get a +4 dodge bonus to AC for 1 round.
Sorry for the delayed response, Morythine. My understanding of the markings designating the "mini ridges" are in fact just to indicate changes in elevation, as the descriptive text for the room makes no mention of any dc's to overcome them. So, they can be moved over as regular terrain, but feel free to include navigating them in whatever descriptive text you desire.
Based on your positioning, you can move 25 feet to be just to the left of Zoli with move action 1, and then use move action 2 to pick up the figurine in the square adjacent. No ki needed.
@Rilee: I just used the Stirge Spam tactic in the penultimate battle of my Iron Gods campaign. It absolutely wrecked an otherwise very powerful boss. I want to thank you for bringing this wonderful strategy to my attention.
Lurking as I update. Been in a work stretch, officially half-way through.

@CDL: you're welcome!!!
So, Thron, can I sniff out Lucretia?
I mean, you smell a lingering scent, but nothing strong enough to make you think she is present at this moment.
If we can dispatch the Kree Ogres and the Hill Giant (who probably has 10 levels in Fighter or something, yeesh) ASAP, then we'll be in much better shape in the long run. The regular guys were barely a match for my unaugmented Hounds.
Lurkin' while I eat breakfast, post in my games, and wind down from work.
Was my Slow spell eaten by a pre-cast Haste or something? I think some of the guys made too many attacks. The Hill Giant has a snail next to his token, but he made two attacks. He's Staggered, so he would only be able to make one; Staggered specifically says no full-round actions.
Post work sleep deprivation. Removing the 2nd hit from lunderbud causes 28 + 32 = 60 damage. Still enough to drop kitty. And yes, green Kreeg was pre-hasted.
Lurkin' while I update. I know I've missed a few questions along the way as well. I'll try to catch up on those.
Even if she can see that I'm still breathing and alive thank to that s*$~ty roll, I am still lying prone, not moving, with my eyes shut. Hopefully the angry tiger will be more of a target than me.
That's my in-game way of politely asking Eugeni and Zoli to step away from the snake lady and her seven attacks.
Thron, mind if the Black Tentacles just finish off the two remaining ogres? Unless Lamatar or those three women are going to Dimension Door into battle, it seems a bit silly to stay in initiative.
Hey CDL, sorry the client didn't beep when you messaged and I was tabbed out. I'm there now.

Lurkin' for a while tonight if any others are awake/bored.
Also, while I'm feeling generous...LEVEL UP! DOUBLE DIGITS!

Just a heads up to everyone:
I am about to go into a work stretch at work, immediately followed by a stretch of various family visiting and staying with me, which will be immediately followed up by another work stretch. As such, my updates will not be very frequent for a while.
I understand that there is a sense of urgency in the group about returning to Sandpoint, and that is all well and good. However, now is a good chance to sneak in some RP posts, should you desire it.
Given that you have no idea how long ago the message mentioning an attack on Sandpoint was delivered, as well as the fact you've already spent five days traveling to get here, I see no reason why you can't take some time to shop/enchant gear here if you wish. It will be your last shot at a much larger pool of resources (compared to Sandpoint) before you return. So, despite not having Xamarath's enchantment discount, you may want to take advantage of the downtime and do any such magic item enchanting/crafting here at normal rates.
If you want to ask around, nobody has heard of any attacks or giant activity on Sandpoint or anywhere else in the region, and look at you as if you are half crazy for asking. In fact, someone even mentions they just had bought some casks of ale from Gaven Deverin, Mayor Deverin's cousin, and proprietor of the Two Knight Brewery in Sandpoint, just two days ago here in Magnimar, and he had not mentioned any troubles of late in Sandpoint.
While my busy upcoming schedule will slow down posts from me in this game, it does not mean I will be totally absent. I will post when I can, as frequently as I can, as per usual. Just it may not be anything in depth and much more than answering a question posed here or there.
