Mbauers, are you using teh google docs to review the sheets? If so (and if you can't open permissions to Arbiter immortal), I can do that for you.

All I'd need is for Arbiter Immortal (and any other Arbiters that are going to be reviewing sheets) to PM me your email addresses (gmail addresses are best, as the char sheets are shared on google drive).

Let me know if you guys want to use this option. Also, glad to see there's still some life in here. And again, I apologize for my part in it nearly dying. I hope you guys are enjoying it as the fights begin again. :)

Does anyone use Herolab also? If so can you send me your character files as I will be entering the characters into my version for ease of tracking.

Yep, all sheets updated on google docs. Samourai Jack is in, Napju is in, Kaira is in, all Level 3. Bruno is up at Level 4--just needed an HP correction, which I PMed him.

Eben, that would be great if you could setup Immortal on the Google Docs too.

A couple things as matches start:

1) The VP system on the campaign info tab is wrong. You get 3 points for a win, 2 for a tie (should be rare), 1 for a loss, and 0 for a forfeit/loss due to inactivity. Every 9 VP you get, you advance a level. So keep track of your W/L record on your profile to make it easier for everyone.

2) The alphabetically first character starts at the top of the map, other person at the bottom. I have to check exact squares.

3) The match starts with a surprise round in which both characters are aware of the other. In the surprise round, or round 0, you get a 5 ft step, a swift action, and either a move or standard action.

Also, I am available for arbitration. If it is required I could review a sheet or two, but I've never really done that before and my schedule is chaotic at best so it would be wise to use me as a last resort.

Well this is all sorts of fun, but I feel... really powerful as a gunslinger And 6 shots before I ever have to reload.

Oooo, also how many free reloads do I get per turn? All reloaded are free action for me, but how many can I take before it seems silly?

Game goes to you, you dis arming junky. If that damn disarm had missed and you just knocked me out I would have won with my final shot while in last stand as I call it. I was so happy to win my first ever match too.

Arian was just happy to face a single opponent for once. ;-)

FYI I'm also a smoker so I have the delightful choice of sweating and reveling in nicotine withdrawal or feel the excruciating pain of hot smoke in my f#%#ed up lungs.

Napju, click the button that says "show" next to "how to format your text" just below the post box. It will show you how to make ooc tags, like I used for this post, and spoiler tags. You can put your rolls in spoilers for the arbiters, and post the results in ooc for your opponent. I'll post an example in this post. Also, Samourai Jack didn't know your match was up, so he should be here soon.

For ooc tags, type exactly what I'm typing below, but take out the "Xs" in the brackets.

[oocx] This will turn blue [/oocx]

For spoilers, do it like this, but again, take out the Xs.

Okay, so I have not sent in Kailin yet, and I am going to actually say that I probably won't for about the next month. Too much other stuff to take care of for a bit, but once it's all settled I'll see about getting back in here. Sorry for the delay :(

Jezebel is 5-0 now. One more win and she moves to fifth level and can give shigeharu an opponent.

Maybe we should start this over again with a new recruitment thread and go from there. Except we keep the same rules and we can keep the same characters at the same levels. I'm willing to set it up but I will need help from the veterans here to get it running. What do you all think?

If you're willing to run things, I'm willing to help arbitrate some matches. I agree that a new recruitment thread would be best.

Sounds like a good plan to draw new people in, cause tbh; having high post count is a bit of a scare off for new players; I personally try to avoid any recruitment threads over 50+ posts, as it shows that it could be mostly full. Now this isn't something that would just fill up instantly, but I wouldn't know that until coming in and reading first.

Maybe mention that fact in the recruitment title?

I put up a new arena! Here it is! Head on over and jump on and introduce yourselves, especially the Arbiters. We can finish any currently started battles here before we go over.
