Yeah, I'm still in the middle of a battle with Jehova's entry.

I've been busy all day today after getting home from my trip. I'll try to do the recruitment thread when I can, but if anyone else is up for it, go for it.

I was hoping to see something moving forward by now, but alas it wasn't meant to be.

I think I could try to get back in the randomization, but I'm a little unsure who/where character stats are supposed to go to now. I'd probably throw Kailin back into the ring though if we want to get some games going again?

I think we just need to actually do a round to get back started otherwise this is dead as the proverbial doornail which sucks because I was having a blast with it.

My sister's getting married tomorrow, thus my relative quiet recently and lack of a Bruno update. I'll get to it as soon as my life comes out of crazy town, promise. Right now posting is about all I can handle.

Well actually mbauers was going to take over and open a new recruitment thread but it seems like hes gone too.

I think I could be the Arbiter although I wouldn't take part as a player then.Any objections?If not you can send your sheets to me, I already opened a new recruitment thread.

Unfortunately my attempts of recruiting new members have been fruitless so far, so I don't even know.Does anybody want a match set up while we wait, or should we declare this arena dead? Who is even still following?

But it has been terribly quiet as of late.

I'm still here and I think maybe opening up the Recruitment thread again might be an idea if we haven't already.

Yeah, I overestimated my availability, and it also seems that interest has waned considerably. I cant run this, but if someone does get some new blood recruited and takes charge, I'm still willing to arbitrate some matches.

How about if we do a quick headcount and then we just do a round of fights with those who respond.

I will randomize the matches as soon as the count comes in.

So that means we could be back to 10 players again.Leaves the question on who will arbitrate.I would, I think mabauers and Choon would too , but we should name somebody to send all the character sheets to.

Castle_Bravo has been PMing me build questions--I imagine he will have a character up soon. We need to put a build info post in the recruitment thread so people know the requirements.

Castle Bravo's character, Napju Mmesli, is approved and ready for Level 3 randomizations.

Algar Lysandris also submitted a character and just needs to reformat some things and get approved (but looks good so far).

Mbauers as soon as all the submissions are approved throw up a list and I will randomize them and assign pits.

One question, simply because this is the first time I've had access to the ability to make my own magical weapons without going through a bunch of trouble; Can you enchant a Cloth outfit with a magical effect that doesn't have to do with normal armor features like Ac, Max Dex, ect?

If you mean armor properties like light fortification, it has to be on armor (though there are a few types of armor that have 0% arcane failure, like armored kilt).

If you mean just enchanting like a wondrous item, then yes (like a Quick Runners Shirt), but item creation feats aren't allowed in the arena.

I have some more PMs to get to. I'll try to do them tonight. Maybe we can plan for a randomization tomorrow?

Just give me a list and I will be happy to randomize, I'm also pretty good with the rules and have been DM'ing for years so if you need an additional arbiter I am happy to assist.

I meant like a clothing set, but it looks like you can't. My character is mostly done, I just need to put it all into the template you have. It should be coming you way within 1-2 hours ( I'm slow some times.)

Well I spend huge amounts of time in constant research when creating a character that would be nice, work well, and be roleplayable; then I build them quickly. The current character, even if it gets a horrible match, will still be highly entertaining. Seeing as my main approach will be starting a match as calmly and friendly as possible, as well as just basicly showing off for the crowd.

Kaira, if you get to the same level as my character Jasmine and we fight it's going to be so much fun walking into the Arena with the same Avatar and going OMG this is SOOOO embarrassing! We wore the same thing! lol

Xd, Do worry, I'll be changing the avatar to the more evil looking~ She just needs to look all nice and innocent for a fight or two~

Actually I do have another question. Magic weapons say their cost to buy, is that without the item's cost itself or is that included in the magic items total cost?

And we are using Traits aren't we X.X completely forgot about those.

Two traits, as is generally standard. And weapon bonus costs do not include the item's base masterwork value. So any weapon actually costs 2000+300 (mwk)+base weapon cost.

Alright, Thanks for that; as I said, first time I've been able to start with magic gear, and that I can actively pick them; my Old dm made me get a random Magic weapon when looking for stuff. Was impossible to get what I actually wanted.

Am I missing anyone? It doesn't look like at this point we really have enough people to move forward, though we can try a round of randomizations if people want. I really don't have the time to try to recruit more people, answer all character questions, audit all character sheets, and arbitrate all matches. :-(

It doesn't look good, frankly. Sorry to disappoint people that have been making characters, but as I've said earlier I can't run this show. I'll arbitrate and look at SOME character sheets, but someone else needs to take the reigns.

@mbauers I thought you had all the Character Sheets. You should have BASHA and Sleepy.If not I'll try and whip them up but I don't have the original sheets, BASHA is a simple build so should be easy but I'm not sure what I did with Sleepy I might have to make a new Gladiator.

Arbitrate the matches you have time to, if you have extra time approve some sheets. Update the advert so that people know we are looking for a new DM and that player slots are on an as-available basis.

The main thing that will draw new players is combat. If you approve sheets but don't run combat, then what is the point that way? If it is too much do what you can do, and hopefully someone can help soon. I bet there are a number of potential GMs out there in the ether, who would love a group of active players doing this kind of thing.

I can probably help with sheets if that helps. I do not feel confident enough in my rules knowledge to help with the matches.

Have one question that is of little importance; seeing as it's about character advancement for after a level or two. It pertains to the witch hex Prehensile hair. Or more importantly, the White Hair Witch archtype. It says it makes my hair fully prehensile, with a all the time use for attacks. The hair is Fully controllable for attacks, however it doesn't include the same text in it that the prehensile hair does for manipulation of items. I assume it should be allowed as it's all based around controlling her hair; but I need to know if this archtype can still hold and manipulate any items, but not wield weapons like the normal hex does.

Kaira is approved and, with one minor clarification, ready. I just need to look over Bruno's sheet, but I assume it'll be fine.

Sleet Storm--I believe you sent BASHA and Sleepy Pete to Jehova. Can you check your sent PMs? The only one I have is Morskitter.
