Yeah I'm still around. Things have kind of gone nuts for me lately though. Sorry for going AWOL.

You can actually advance if you don't win, it will just take you longer. You get a point for each fight no matter what. That said, this is a PVP arena and as such an unoptimized build isn't going to advance as fast as those that are optimized.

I am perfectly willing, and I'm sure all the arbiters are since they have access to the builds as well to make sure they are legal, to provide tips and such to make peoples builds better if they are interested in such help.

I'd like it to count...especially since you two decided to gang up on me lol. In all seriousness we can make it an exhibition but I figured we might as well get points for it since we fought it. That's up to you guys, my vote is to give you both two points each since it was more difficult for a three way fight.

Either way is fine and I can arbitrate also if you want. Perhaps we should get another roll call and see if we can do another random since I think the battles are done right? Or is 1 still going on?

You two can go ahead since you haven't fought at all yet. Though Jelani, the Arbiters all have access to the character sheets for Arbitration purposes. We don't use any of the info on there on our own characters and we don't arbitrate our own matches one of the other arbiters will do that.

Only caveat to that is to make sure you identify yourself somehow with the posts if you aren't going to have a separate alias. For instance say something like "Bruno rushes across the field, bouncing on the fleshy back of Esmeralda the Death Camel" or "Bruno jabs his lance into your eye."

Hey everyone. I'm a bit under the weather so if choon or mbauers can do it they can set up the next random round. Sorry for the delay. Let's do a sound off of people with their active gladiators to see who's still here.

Napju, I will give you until 5am eastern time tomorrow to post an action otherwise you will suffer arena freeze and Stonefist will have an action. If another day goes by then you will forfeit.

We only have one battle to go in this randomization round. Anyone can do a challenge bout if they wish until the battle in Arena 3 is finished. Unless we just want to go into a randomization bout tomorrow to keep everything moving?

Ok I am calling this match for Meng! I know not the way you wanted to win but I am sure your next opponent will be more active.

We are always looking for new victi....I mean mighty warriors! ;-) Go to the campaign info tab for character building info. Once done submit to myself or Arbiter Mbauers.

Burning hands does not have ongoing fire damage unless you have an ability that adds it. Usually when it says it sets combustibles on fire it is talking about unattended objects like using it in a dry cornfield or something like that.

I'm going to give Kaira 12 more hours to check in, then I will call the match for you so we can move on to the next round.

Sharrif, you don't need to put your sheet in your profile nor let people know what your build is. You just need to PM it to either myself or Mbauers. Otherwise people will get an unfair advantage where they know your build but you dont know theirs.

It will be after the current random battles are done. The trio battle doesn't count though so as soon as the others are done we can go with another random bout. That said, there is nothing stopping people that have finished from doing a challenge bout now.

Here is the arena map I made for a three way battle. I decided to go very basic with no obstacles, just an all out slugfest.

We can move over to Arena 6 for the three way battle if you guys want. It should be interesting as we haven't done anything like that before.

Mbauers, Faust will be in Arena Five with whomever the next submission comes from.

Also, as soon as we hear from Choon, we can do the three way battle royale in Arena Six

Remember when you start, give a description, posture a bit if you want to, play to the crowd, Roll initiative in a spoiler and post just the results in OOC.

Once you determine who is going first, you each have surprise round actions. Then you go to normal round by round combat. For ease, if spellcasting put what spell it is in a spoiler with the spellcraft DC for the other person to identify it if they are able to.

Post all actions either in a spoiler that is titled "Arbiter" or if you must you can PM it to the Arbiters but PM it to all of the arbiters so that we each know what you are doing. It makes it more difficult but I prefer just putting it in the spoiler and using the honor system for the other person not to look.

Let me know if anyone has any questions. Also if there is a question about a rule or an arbiter is needed. Post it in this discussion thread and one of us will help.
