Arbiter should make the final determination on these, but here's what I think:
Arbiter, we could use a ruling in Pit Four. Johnny killed Vatale, but then dropped due to a DoT attack, and left Vatale's mount still standing. So who wins?
Who actually died first? Was Johnny able to pull off a CDG or actually kill Vatale before the DoT's took him out? If so, even if the horse is still standing, Johnny should win IMO.
If it's some crazy circumstance where they both went under 0, but neither could fully kill the other one first... um ... I really don't know. either a Draw or the person who bleeds out first, I guess.
Also, is it true that the player who loses initiative can do a full first round instead of a surprise round?
Pretty much yes. I disagree with this stance, but the idea is that a person (even if they lose initiative) can Delay their turn and then take it right before their opponent... the idea being that they're Delaying out of hte Surprise round and acting at the top of the 1st Round.
I think with only a single opponent, this is kind of ridiculous. When there's only 2 people, Delaying should immediatley make it their opponent's turn –– meaning that the Delayer effectively loses their turn.
All that said, I did just take advantage of this rule in the previous fight... fat lot of good it did me. :(

Also : do Wands count as consumables for the 10% rule?
yes. basically charges used are counted against your consumables. so a level one wand takes up 750 of your gear, but each charge used only counts towards 15 gp of your consumable limit per match. not too shabby if you have a little extra gold laying around... ;)

Question: is the guided weapon property allowed?
Hmmm. While this was published by Paizo, i believe it was created for 3.5, correct? If this is true, then I'm not comfortable with it's admittance.
Again, this is clearly Jehova's call.
Also : do Wands count as consumables for the 10% rule?
Yes, they are considered consumables. Jehova said above (somewhere) that all wands and ammo have to be purchased in their full capacity increments (wands must be purchased with 50 charges; magical arrows have to be bought in groups of 50). Then, as you use charges or magical ammo in the arena, that price will go against your consumables price.
So, at level 3, you can't even afford a level 1 wand (the cap being 450g). However, at level 4 (where the cap is 825g), you could purchase it and take it into the arena. Then, let's say you used 5 charges. Those 5 charges are worth 15g each, totaling 75g. As long as that plus whatever other consumables you used in the arena didn't eclipse your 412.5g that is 'replenishable', you' be fine to sell all your gear back at full value.
If, however, in that level 4 match, you somehow used 30 charges ('m not even sure how that could happen), your total consumables used from the wand would equal 450g (which is 37.5g over the limit of that which is free to replenish).
At that point, that character would always have a 37.5g penalty to their wealth.
Did that answer the question?

Basically you can "sell" anything back after the match for what it is worth. And you "recover" 225 gp worth of consumables each match. So if you buy a level 1 wand for 750 gold, and then use 3 charges during a match, you can sell it back after the match for 705 gp. You have used 45 gp of your consumables for the match, which is under the limit and thus reimbursed. So you get the 705 for selling the wand, plus 45 for reimbursement which totals 750 and essentially lets you buy another brand spankin new wand before your nextg match at no penalty.

Falcon, do you want to just face me in Pit 8? I just want to try out my new guy for laughs and, since you're waiting anyway, why not face me? If Jehova comes on and says our match is invalid or just a practice match or whatever, no worries. I just want to fight! You down?
If not, is ANYBODY down for a fight? Hell, I'll even fight Ballista McGee!
C'mon, I don't even have any weapons? How tough could I be? ;-)

Actually your level 4, so yeah I'm going to retract that.
I kept trying to tell him (hes my bro) that he needed to clarify, and that the reason people didn't want to face him is because Shigeharu is level 4.
He is refering to the new character that he made, who is level 3. So it should be an even match. ;)

I would fight Gnasher with my new guy--it would be a good fight, IMO, but probably much shorter than our last fight.
After the match with Falcon I'd face you, but I don't know if that would count as two challenges in a row.
How many matches are still going on? I can't look it up right now, but I can check a little later.

I'm up for another fight I don't care who.. I just want one that isnt horribly skewed by RNG one way or the other.. also a 19-20 once in my career would be nice to see on my side for something.

I'd like to petition a house-rule be instigated.
I'd suggest that Diehard function the same against both lethal and nonlethal damage. It's ridiculous that 1 point of nonlethal makes a Diehard combatant unconscious when the Diehard combatant would simply shrug off that same point of damage were it lethal.

Both of my characters use nonlethal damage, neither of them use Diehard, and I'd support that rule.
I also have another minor rules proposal for the arena--since the person who goes second can delay until Round 1 and get a full complement of actions, I propose that if the first player chooses to delay until Round 1 (to get a full complement of actions), that player should count as NOT flat-footed during Player Two's surprise round. Like I said, minor rule, but could be important.
