I see that my table (WHICH STILL HAS 2 FREE SLOTS, PEOPLE! STEP RIGHT UP, STEP RIGHT UP, DON'T BE SHY!) is super-heavy on divine magic (specifically including a Merciful Healer Cleric, and another Cleric describing itself as "Support", which could mean one of several things - including "several things"). It's not a DM's job to determine party makeup, of course, and such a party could certainly work fine, but my players and whoever else joins might want to be sure they're satisfied with what they've got.

Look at that, another cleric signed up.

That's fine, though. Changed "Support" to "Evangelist," since that's the kind of cleric she is. Not a lot of in-combat healing, mostly buffs. So having a Merciful Healer around still sounds pretty nice.

I haven't checked the spreadsheet, but I believe I am the Merciful Healer in question. I can melee, and will, as I can heal in a fight with no AOOs, but I don't do a particularly great amount of damage.
With our powers combined, it's time to turn you into a wrecking ball of divine fury. Inspire Courage is a heck of a drug.
Orrrrrr, we could convince some big beast of a Barbarian to join us, and we all make him/her invincible!

A half elf strides up to the conversation, longbow poking out over one shoulder and a massive earthbreaker in hand. "I may not be a barbarian, but I believe I can fit the bill you have in mind!"

:-) Eladrian can aptly fill the hole here!

Lord Montgomery Thorent, dwarven engineer at large, here. I am the Montgomery listed on the spreadsheet.

Just a reminder that the Outpost Core table of Black Waters is mustering! Uktar and Applied_People, if you could check in as soon as you can, that would be appreciated!

I haven't seen anything yet for the core 5-6 special table I don't think.

    Weird. Thanks!

I've had to drop out of Helikon's Sewer Dragons of Absalom (line 51 in the Outpost spreadsheet) due to my misreading of the level range.

Hopefully someone with a 3-7 character can take my place. Apologies for the mixup.

There are still 2 seats available at the Outpost table of Ancients’ Anguish (classic version). This is a 7-11 scenario (with the current party consisting of a 7, 8, 9, and 10). Play will begin on March 5 and mustering is happening now. If interested please check in at http://paizo.com/campaigns/OutpostIGMAbrahamsAncientsAnguish

There are spaces left on both GM Chie’s and GM Irish’s tables of Salvation of the Sages. Irish is a Five Star GM, and Chie is simply amazing. Either would provide you with an excellent experience.

Both tables are high tier. This is an excellent, but dangerous scenario.

Please, help fill out one of their tables if you want a great challenge and have a character in tier!

GM Abraham: I have just signed up for your March 5th 7-11 game with this character, who is currently towards the end of GM Hmm's table of 'Runecarved Key'. Let me know if you need anything else, and thanks for offering to GM this scenario!

I have not yet seen the muster, so I'm assuming no muster yet.

I haven't yet received my copy of the adventure, so I haven't put out the "muster", as you put it, yet (that, and I've been greatly, greatly struggling for some time now).

    Grand Lodge

Still waiting myself for my copy, but was told that they usually don't come out until a few days before it is to start....

    ^
    That. :P

This is one of the reasons I have avoided taking on online GMing for convention-type items.

My prep process requires weeks to process a given scenario.

This is not precluding future PbP when my schedule opens up a bit, just running anything I don't already have.

In PbP you can take as much time writing your 1 or 2 posts per day, and you have scenario right beside you to cut and paste those block texts... it's easier than you think. Unlike good old ftf PFS you don't have to nearly memorize the scenario before running it.

I prefer to have a more in-depth grasp of my scenarios so when I'm running them, they are fluid in nature.

However, I am also the sort that burnt-out with short release time scenarios/modules in a different FtF organized play campaign, so my perspective may be different.

    Hmm

Whilst I am convinced both have excellent GM's, I was equally concerned that this scenario has a particularly grim set of reviews that seem to get worse with every retelling - that is is harsh and punitive. I looked at the party composition and was a little dubious as the APL is that higher end of the 9's and so we have the concern of both tables playing 10-11 yet having an APL not really supportive of that, and a funky mix of classes that didn't fill me with confidence.

I suspect one group was better than the other, but one of the groups was both short a strong frontliner AND short a Healer. Not a scenario I'd want to play 'up' with.

I still feel tender over the Beacon Below, so maybe that's not helping.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

It is wise to exhibit caution on the scenario in question.

Definitely don't want to get 'bootstrapped' to the higher tier with one or none in the higher tier in your party.

I do not have a healer available that is both a scarab sage and in tier. But I do have a bloodrager that is in tier. I'll check out his status and perhaps complete one table if he is acceptable.

I did not expect to have time to run another character so soon, yet I do.

Since all the tables seem full if anyone in the tier 1-2 drops or needs replacement, I have an Occultist who would love to assist.

    Please keep me in mind.

Will the following players please check in for my session of The God's Market Gamble.

    Redgar
    OG3
    BrunoReturns
    Ash 3000
    Tusk the Half-Orc

    See you on the boards!

I have several IRL characters that are in tier, but would need to be converted to be PbP ready. 9 fire blaster sorcerer, 9 tank fighter, 9 healer bard, 8 combat skald, 9 healer, and 11 arcane SLA paladin.

He has some of the original magic item mastery feats so he can cast burning hands, lightning bolt, dark vision, see invisibility, and dimension door. Plus Maw of the Dragon for Dragon Breath once a day.
