So something just occurred to me: The Monk of the Healing Hand is Society-legal, but there's one reason it shouldn't be:
True Sacrifice (Su): At 20th level, in a final selfless act, a monk of the healing hand can draw in his entire ki….At 20th level, this would be very rare for PFS characters. I recall a few years ago there was a survey for Seeker level characters and classes…I cannot recall if any achieved 20th level due to limited scenarios and opportunities to play.
My highest level PFS PC never passed 17th. I was not able to find that list but it would be outdated. :)
There were a number of characters that used AP credits to get to 19.2 and then played in Race for the Runecarved Key in the Seeker tier, as the subtier did not have a cap, instead being 12+.
That's gotten easier thanks to the bonus adventure included in AP144, giving another option for that 1XP, on top of the final sanctioning of Tyrant's Grasp, Return of the Runelords, and Wrath of the Righteous allowing any of the credits to be applied at any character level.
Haven't done it myself, still working through the high level modules, but I imagine our AP plays will allow one of my characters to hit 20 at some point. I'll probably be retired by then, however.
It looks like it's also an ability that you get at 20th level, which means that you would have to somehow get enough credits together to get to 20th level AND THEN play another scenario to use it.
Interesting. Would be pretty cool accomplishment if possible.
I met a player who technically has a lv21 character. It was a rare Gen Con boon that, if you don't play one character for an entire year, the character gain 3 more xp and level up; and he applied that boon to his lv20...
