It's inconsistent, only 1 out of 3 of my games that I needed to inactive were able to do so.

Shoot... I was hoping that the downtime we just had was a code push to allow us to edit campaigns again, but no such luck.
Ah well. They have promised that it's coming sometime today, so... let's see what happens.

I see it on both my mobile and my tablet. But seems like Merisial gave us an opening to close threads. I closed all my inactive threads!

Is based on screen size. Paizo appears to use "responsive" media queries that switch up the styles based on queries against your browsers width, etc. So, resize your window from the left or right and at a certain point you'll see the ghost background switch on.
Temporary Perception +20 circumstance bonus to spot Merisiel

She does have a pretty good stealth bonus...

Wish I could narrow the browser enough to hit the reply button on posts and see what else might be written on that side of the screen.

It's pretty.

Does anyone else see a semi-transparent pic of Merisiel and someone else in the background of every forum thread now? I hope it's not permanent.
I see it on my iPad and on my computer (both using Safari), but ONLY when I'm viewing the page in portrait orientation (or, on the computer, if I have the browser narrowed so that it is taller than it is wide).

Hi Turlin - Welcome! I’m fairly new myself but its a friendly place. You can find lots more knowledgeable people here but if I can help with anything, let me know. Have you developed a character yet?

Welcome Turlin! If you're new to Pathfinder Society as well you should take a look at the PFS Guide and come up with a 1st level character you'd like to play. We have games kicking off on a regular basis, though it tends to be a bit slower around US holiday times.
You can also make a post in the Gameplay tab of this thread - preferably something in character, otherwise you can just post anything and then delete it right away. That process (usually known as 'dotting in') will add Flaxseed Lodge to your campaigns list (you can get to it here) so it's easier to find later.

Hello! I'm new to the Pathfinder Society, though I've been playing in a homebrew Pathfinder campaign with a group of friends for little over a year now. Because of my group's work schedules, our game days have become a bit infrequent, and I've been itching to roll dice for a hot minute. I've made a Tengu Fighter just for PFS based on what I've read in the "Pathfinder Society Guild Guide".
But, I've got a bunch of questions. What else is needed/required? What kind of things do I need to know? Is there any etiquette I need to be aware of for Play by Post style games? Is there any advice you guys can give me? What's the best recipe for pancakes?

There are a bunch of links that cover most of your questions at the top of the page (some of them are duplicated on this character's home page so just click the bearded guy above or the link provided). I would also suggest checking out the bottom of the page and the spoiler "How to format text" for basic site formatting knowledge. You could also 'lurk' on someone else's game to see what folks are doing before you take the dive.
Is there any advice you guys can give me?
Aside from the above. Sure, 'Never eat spinach with a stranger.'
What's the best recipe for pancakes?
Whatever IHOP uses. Those people at Apple know everything.
Last, but not least, stay thirsty my friend.

If it is just any old character from any old system just go to your accounts page (accessible at the top, via "Account Settings") and click "Create New Alias". If it is an 'official' Paizo Starfinder, Pathfinder (CORE or Classic/Standard) or Card Game character head south of the "Create New Alias" button to "Organized Play" and hit "Edit" and you will be in the place to create official characters that will get credit for Paizo organized play. Everything else can be learned by clicking on the things I mentioned in the above post or just looking at examples on the messageboard (Examples: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
Hey... I've noticed that on some threads people have character names and there stats under that. How do you do that?

Hi, I'm new to the site and never have done PBP and was told that this is a good place to start.... So.... Yeah... Hi!
Hopefully this will help you out a little bit. Give it a try. Most of it was built by GM Lorenzo for Paizocon 2018 and I added to it for my long distance friends and family to play.

How do I edit my profile? Didn't realize characters went under the "Aliases" tab and not the "Profile" tab.
Go into account settings, from there you can rename and edit your aliases and your Organized Play Characters.

Hello, I have two players who left during our game and we aren't exactly finished yet. This was for Game Day and the game is already reported. What is the best way to handle this as I don't feel they should be getting 'full' credit. Thanks for any assistance and happy gaming!!
PM me or one of the other VOs for PbP with details and we can help you get this sorted out.
