It's OK Deadly Secret. If life gets in the way, that happens. No hard feelings at all. I personally wouldn't mind continuing with a good GM but if the group wants to disband then I won't argue.
I hope that they are either compensating you for your increased duties, or that life slows back down for you :)

Sorry about delay, I'm waiting for a response from a friend of mine and will give it another day. She's a good GM and might want to take this on. Then I'll start the real hunt if she can't.

I'm pretty sure the companions are previous PCs who GM was keeping on as support until their replacements were recruited, so they can probably fade away. In terms of the party of seven we should do a roll call to see who is still active after the game stalled.

The Ox was with someone who said they weren't continuing. The Gnome does have the fey from the lodge, so you can easily have themselves convince each other to not continue and go have fun elsewhere.
