After seeing the mess that was my last post, I am trying something different. You will notice no dice rolls in the post. I have rolled physical dice as I was writing my post.

Hopefully, this makes it way easier to read.

On a behind the scenes level, this was a much faster post to write. I didn’t have to write the scripts for the rolls, write the post, post, see the rolls, edit the post according to what I rolled. I was able to roll the dice as they would have happened and write the post accordingly in the first place. Taking a lot of time off of editing it afterwards.

Every time I go into pathbuilder I remember how much I love Kiilo.

I was originally going to go with 2 ancestry feats via the Ancestry Paragon General Feat ... but Kiilo doesn't actually hate humans, so that didn't seem appropriate. Strix Lore does actually get him 2 skills though, so that's cool. So I went with Precient Planner because I thought that would help Kii (and GM) in case there are things we forgot to buy. It seemed like an appropriate pick for someone who was once enslaved.

Kiilo, you would be right if the runestone was in another item. It would be free in this case, since you are getting the runestones with the runes.

Other than that, it does take a day and you need the magical crafting feat. The DC for the check would be 16, as it is a level 2 crafting task.

Also, even if you were to craft a +1 weapon from scratch you would only need between 17.5gp and 35gp depending on how long you spend working on it. Between 50gp and 100gp would be for a +1 Striking weapon. Basic magical weapons are common, so you wouldn't need a formula to craft them.

This is where we end up joining a highway orc troupe down on their luck from Magnimar.
