The person GMing could just have their character with the group. They would just not make any decisions as long as it doesn't drastically go against their PC. Like a Paladin would not just join in on a blood sacrifice to a demon lord.

I guess we could just go ahead and let someone in who doesn't want to GM. Perhaps they'll change their mind when they see how much easier PF2e is to run.

I'm also Okay with the GM's player being basically a party NPC.

I am flying out tonight and am not certain that I will have access to internet on my trip. I will be back on Monday. Feel free to use the time to get to know each other and I will resume the exploration under the Glassworks when I get back.

If you give me your exploration activities that you care to use, and maybe your exploration procedure, I can run through the secret rolls quickly and run through the exploration in a slightly less clunky manner.

Mangrove - Can Search or Scout, your choice, since Mangrove will be out for the foreseeable future. At least until he comes back.

I would assume Mira would go Defend, and Ziel can either for Search or Scout...

Let me know so I can move us forward and try to find a narratively satisfying way to proceed.

Okay, combat time. This will take a little bit for me to know what I can and can't do.

Firstly is there anything I can do to try and sneak around the enemy through stealth?

If there were more things to hide behind in the room, yes. If you have a ranged attack, you can stay in the shadows on the stairway and try to shoot at him while the others distract him, but you reveal yourself after the first attack.

The room is pretty flat with only wooden pallets on the ground, covering the pits on the floor.
